[Music] welcome to Erica carolin’s Vlogs and my husband Paul hi there uh we’re here today to talk about AIA we are very soon going back on the ship uh so very excited yeah absolutely and uh we’re just going to go through with you uh we can now book any excursions or any extra things um so uh we thought we share that with you um and uh yeah see what we can book [Music] today so I’ve already got logged in yep so we were thinking about the spa weren’t we yes we really enjoyed our spa day uh in the uh Spa area um it was the very first day wasn’t it yes it’s the first very full sea day uh and yeah thoroughly enjoyed it it was a nice nice two hours you get um so we’re really keing to do that again it’s a good start of the holiday um so yes we’ll just have a look yeah just finding it on the website the right bit again looks like this time it’s down as a relaxation areas so let’s just go on to uh the details for the that oh hang on problem minimum age applies will we be a to go oh I don’t know perhaps we’re too young dear could be could be um okay so it’s the thermal Suite isn’t it that we did yes it what yes um the picture’s quite deceiving um we had this problem before didn’t we Paul where uh it you just think it’s about the SAA because a picture lovely picture of the lady in the sauna um yes there is SAA there’s many types of sa as you can have um but you’re expecting to see the the famous pole that’s in there and the big hot tub and and that in there so yeah no that’s good and on the same page actually it’s got the retreat and you were wondering wondering about the retreat yes the retreat experience we’ve never done it before because it’s usually so expensive but we thought uh just for a one off one day on a c day um yeah problem is I don’t think you can this is the problem it does sell out and of course the day that’s the C day that everyone would want to use it exactly say on those um C days particularly is going to be very much in demand you’re not going to they’re not going to have that offer or you’ll be able to do it I wouldn’t have thought no um and you can see the retreat there the price is from from $499 per person so it’s not a cheap one no it’s not a cheap extra no so we might have to think about that but the um the 2hour um pass for the thermal Suite £49 per person I thought that’s pretty fair actually what’s in there yes for what you get yes and 2 hours I don’t know it does soon fly by yeah it does soon go you the details first oh no sold out no hang hang on there you go so it said sold out at first and then when he when it knew it was us it came Chang I should think so yes your name should come up um so people in your cabin whoever is in your cabin if it’s just yourself or a family the names will come up yeah um so there we go let’s try fingers crossed people get that in and don’t forget to click on0 so we’ve got to work out what day shall we be the first 8:00 in in the morning which is really going to be 7:00 oh yeah cuz the clocks so have changed so because the clocks change you have to be really careful there so it does so if we so eight is going to be seven but that’s right we have breakfast we have breakfast after don’t we so it’s literally get up get your swim suit on and get in there um yeah let’s do the first one which is 800 a.m. yeah have to basket it don’t let do one at a time oh so you have to do it twice that’s bit silly you should be able to just do two people basket yay lovely I see we’ve got a little bit of a discount I think we got £5 off each oh did we cuz we’ve beeno yes yes we wonder there oh got to be some perks yes lovely nice one good great okay total 8968 so it’s not bad for two hours for two people yeah there is Refreshments there as well you can have tea coffee or uh water with usually like cucumber or lemon or something in it uh and another resting area as well so yeah you’ve got plenty there haven’t you I love I don’t know what they’re called but they’re like Stone seats aren’t they they are shaped yes like a curve of your body exactly and it’s heated um yeah they it’s not Stone it’s um Mosaic like a mosaic tiles heated wavy like that wavy uh so very comfortable there is yeah go on the main main picture there I’ll put that up on the screen but yeah that that was my favorite cuz it didn’t look comfortable it does my gosh when you sit on it it’s like wow and because it’s h head you we fell asleep didn’t we well you you yeah yeah you will be snoring and I did hear people snore no there was there was a gentleman on the other end he was slight lightly snoring really yeah I’m going say try he was he was a light snore but he was snoring just for a laugh let’s have a look at this uh Retreat experience cuz I’m sort of not sure yeah 499 so, is it worth it dear oh gosh no but that would be for the whole holiday though wouldn’t it it wouldn’t be it would that is true so you could you could divide it by the number of days and say well okay effectively you’ve got let say 12 days access yeah by the time you take off they’re getting on and they’re getting off getting off yeah um various drinks and included experience all the retreat guests will also enjoy some exclus exclusive additional benefits including a thing on here we go 30 Spa voucher for you to enjoy our beautiful Oasis Spa uh for some me time 10% offshore experiences Wi-Fi packages yeah um I don’t know about every day yeah a lot of money that is every yeah so that’ be what what 80 something pound a day I’ll tell you exactly yes let’s work that out hang on out okay so we agreed it’s 12 days in actual fact yes cuz you got to Discount the timing to get off and on so and off so it’s 499 * 2 / 12 is 836 I fa often I said 80 odd quit didn’t I you did that’s a good guess well done um yeah I’m going have to think about that let’s we’ll come back to that come back to I’m not sure on the if we could have got say three days for X price and maybe even if the days were defined like you could access it on maybe I don’t know one sea day and two land days or something something maybe [Music] something we W going to do it much this time we did a lot of excursions last time and we really really enjoyed it and it helped us to have a good look round well yeah and understand what was there such that if we were going to be on our own and not an Excursion we could get more out of the visit yeah um so let’s just have a look at where we’re going and what we remember about last time so let’s move along to the next day which oh poor day [Music] Laruna ah now memory test oh gosh Laruna I’ve got it actually it’s I think might have come back to me but which one is that what did we see what did we do oh golly gosh um laara is that the one with the Roman Lighthouse do you remember well we’ll see because it’ll probably be on the uh ex oh there it is the picture of the Roman Lighthouse so yeah it was right that’s funny done yeah Paul’s better at remembering places than I than I am it’s got Laruna and a paragraph about it and then actually you scroll down on that paragraph and it says see all short experiences it says there was leisurely lacara basically walking on your own I suppose uh walk walk the Pilgrim’s way Laruna by Tuk Tuk I think that one we were interested but it kind of sold out by the time we got there as well £89 ahead I there four of us ah I reckon we did the cityi do you think it was where we fed the seals well we didn’t but yes that’s it that was good that was that was a big aquarum it was actually it was yes it went on for Miles we kept going thinking oh this is it and there was more yeah that’s right now I remember yeah so H suggest that one and £49 a ticket what we did there I think actually that’s very good yeah you do get quite a lot for your Monday it a full day it was a full day yeah yeah we enjoyed that day um yes rafting always admire the people going on that uh not really our cup of tea no no not adventurous enough for that oh and it is sold out so there go there go saved us saved us from ourselves um what’s this glacian estries and Tapas o that does sound like that’s quite nice yeah the food the food ones I do like the Food Tours that we we’ve done them in the past haven’t we certainly done one or two of those like these tapest Trails type things and they are they are really good and you go into all the sort of local um bars and pubs for one of a better work yes and have and they do look after you don’t they they do actually they’re very good yeah very hospitable and uh yeah really enjoy that I might consider that one yeah um l oh look there page there is another page oh there’s two more what’s that one oh there is a lacara tapas Trail all right what’s the difference of the other one then the other one included a bit more of a drive maybe let’s have a look small walking group tour the second one okay um slice of Spanish life there you go that is a little bit of a Tong twister almost isn’t iten slice of Spanish life that offers Charming Villages stunning views and delicious Tapas soed with wine so one’s on foot and one’s in a coach I quite like the lazy One S the coach well they get to you drive around the city and and uh learn about the city and all the lovely places and going to have a nice Tass with glass of wine that sounds like your kind of does sound like my CA of tea glass of wine yeah definitely yeah well I hope you like our mugs as well I’ve got the uh the Aria one that we got last year and which one’s this one a slightly worn ventur oh ventur yes we’ve had this one a while yeah um but we’ve had some great holidays on the Venture yeah we have actually I do particularly like the adult area on there just off the gym off the spa that is one of my good you know I know these new cruise ships are fantastic in all the amenities but I mean do you agree do you find yeah I mean I I like both yeah I mean the adventure in zero they’re very good ships aren’t they they they are they are me is a holiday so back too are we going to do this this is it did you want to walk around Laruna up to you we’re not very decisive we might have to think about this one and come back so I’m not sure that is a possible maybe oh look they’ve got a little heart icon they try that one so you can save it that’s it so that one was a scen so that one’s the coach mhm and then the other one is the little walk is the is the walk which is absolutely fine now they’ve also got a lacara and mega beer experience so if you like your beer I suppose it’s beer crawling would it be or just going to a suppose it is yeah yeah different Club but yeah plenty of people yeah some people like that that’s 60 so 60 I suppose they take you to the authentic beer places you arrive in the Roman fortified city of Lugo you’ll take a panoramic drive around the best preserved Roman wall in the world Cy that’s a big uh that’s a big big promise isn’t it then join your guide for entertaining walk through the ancient cobblers of the old quarter you hear all about the city and its colorful history does sound quite good um that’s at 48 pound jet house Yes sounds really person I mean um you’re good wearing you good shoes to wear then because it’s Cobble streets yes yeah that’s interesting may maybe we’ll do the tap Pass Trail maybe we’ll maybe we’ll just to get off and have a walk I can’t remember on that one how much there is just around the port area but yeah we’ll think on that yeah I’ll think on that [Music] one uh Cara next in Spain this wasn’t on last year’s oh no they changed it didn’t they this I’m I’m very happy about this whatever the destination was last year uh it’s been swapped out for cartera and that is one of my personal fa favorites because I know you can just get off and you’re more or less just off the main street that one’s a nice walk around yeah very I’m looking around at the shops and the cafes and they do really I’m not really one for coffee but there they do nice coffee even if you really don’t like coffee much um actually I don’t know what they put in their coffee but it is really nice and I don’t normally like coffee yeah the alcohol well you could have alcohol with it I don’t know what they call it but yes you could do I remember we went on one tapest Trail and they gave you an alol they oh I had two MTH and it blew my head off didn’t it oh my God yeah like that I don’t know what was in it it was nice but was strong yeah very I think almost had to carry me out yeah I always remember that one um okay so it’s got new against this one accessibility caha City Walk mhm um so yeah looks like if you’ve got mobility issues they’re putting on a special tour for you there that’s a good idea it’s very thoughtful yeah and um panoramic panoramic cartera so I think this is the one where they uncovered the Roman Amphitheater oh yeah we did a tour of that do a renovation and that’s suddenly there it was they found this they found yes that’s right that’s just off to the right isn’t it it was yes I I don’t know it’s interesting that place yeah I don’t know what they ordinarily charge you to go in there um but that is just off the main street so maybe you could do that on your own but it’s either that or it’s £477 to be on the organized trip which obviously you get a proper guide yes and I remember the personally all the guides we’ve ever had have always been really very knowledgeable really know their stuff really really ni another one there complete Cara right what’s that so that’s probably like a full day that’s 60 tlor two cities yes we’ve done that one a few times haven’t we I think we’ve done that one at least once so what was the other City let’s have a look meria of course it was meria yes yeah that’s a really good one actually that is we do recommend that one that’s another really good tour um so yeah if you’ve done Carter haa before but you’ve not done anything else then that one they do obviously whisk you off city um so okaya Beach transfer oh oh is that the one where they just take you to the beach so anyway yeah we won’t be doing the lamanga beach transfer oh that’s that one and then we’ve got oh gosh how do you say that andalan horse horse ran and show go I bet that’s really good that would be quite good cuz that would be Spanish wouldn’t it so the Spanish horses yeah and they they do amazing uh tricks and yeah dances with the Horses Don’t They yeah I guess for a close encounter with pure bread impeccably trained Spanish horses so I’d like that for myself but I think you’d be bored wouldn’t you it wouldn’t be for my our boys we could do it we could do it the children probably unless they’re into horses yeah some kids are into horses no of course yeah uh I just like going to the actual like Main Street at C yeah yeah I think we’ll just keep it as a shopping looking around again we’ll keep it under wraps we might do something but let’s uh let’s see stroll around old Mars 25 I’m guessing you could um probably do that yourself again though if you want a guide capture the spirit of marsill on this enchanting stroll through the old city so yeah it doesn’t say there’s a guy does it so it might just be letting you walk around TR like a shuttle bus to the main area that’s at 25 25 so it probably is a shutle bus into into the shops yeah and Les Pro okay okay yeah so experience the beauty and history of two of Pro’s ancient towns so again that’s a bit like a t of the two cities there is it where they’re going to take you off to two different cities places and then marsill like a local tucking to highlights and gastronomic delights quarter £0 oh that’s a lot of food food is really good isn’t it not going to come cheap so that’s good point yeah yeah oh segue Adventures seg Adventures there are popular thing at the moment Everyone likes their segue um got that one sold out I don’t I me yeah it’s because they only have like about 10 or 15 yeah so I don’t know I think um it’s not really for us but some people I mean it does look fun I got say Scenic Scenic Cornish and Beach okay I got a feeling was that the one we did might have been the one we did last year and yeah no be we didn’t enjoy that the beach fine Mar Panorama Panorama uh by double deck of bus bus yeah I mean again you’ll likely better get on their or equivalent your cheese and wine tasting C know that yeah that sounds kind like to me it’s so difficult it is really tempting we do like our cheese cheese you have to paste yourself cuz I know there’s so much food much on the ship to go off the ship and have another big round of eating um yeah it’s it’s great that they offer it but for us we’d find it too I mean I’d find it too tempting to go and eat a lot there because you feel you’ve paid for your ticket yeah you’ve already paid for you probably end up eating much the same sort of amount on the ship yeah so again I don’t know on that one I think I think we did say after last year that Mars we were um might stand board that day actually discover the cangs by boat cangs discover the cangs by boat see that would probably be a lovely trip yeah maybe to the water and explore the rugged Coastal Beauty uh of kalank’s National Park as you depart from the Old Port of marsill you’ll get a wonderful F perspective of marsill and its surrounding Islands then you’ll Cruise out to discover the incredible unique scenery of the coastline reaching the world famous CeX then it does go on to say that it’s a dramatic Rock Rocky uh canyons and Fjord like inlets that plunge deeply into the glistening turquoise water of the Mediterranean so it’s yeah quite spectacular sort of landscape H again I don’t know that’s at [Music] £599 Barcelona yeah good up Barcelona I did hear that um the cruise ships weren’t going to be able to dock up at Barcelona anymore they were going to be a bit down the coast and then the tourist would have to get a coach into Barcelona so I don’t know if that’s already the case and that’s what we’ll find this time but we’ll find out won’t we so so would that one we just do the shops walk around well um think let’s have a look and see what’s on off gy tour that is sold out already so yeah yeah there’s a few sold out ones instagramable locations of Barcelona so yeah yeah there’s some really nice um houses and buildings there isn’t there oh yeah it’s really impressive yeah very very much a media Barcelona Flamingo they did have that on the ship actually didn’t they they had the dancers on the ship yes they actually came on the ship and uh did I think was an hour of dancing yeah it was the flamingo was yes yes all dressed in their finery um so yeah that was quite good actually yeah so what we did last year was We went to the sigis didn’t we yes that’s right we’ve been there twice now siges um it is a lovely place but this time we are just going to go to Barcelona AR I think we’re just going to walk around Barcelona is the main attraction isn’t it and then sit is if you’ve been to Barcelona a few times you want something little different first and then if you go back again then maybe once you’ve done Barcelona two or three times then maybe You’ go to C we pronounced it right this time we kept saying it wrong last time so yes we have oh there’s a lot at Barcelona there’s um three pages of different excursions so there’s a lot lot of choice here two sites in Barcelona on your own taragona discover taragona old city charm and history so I mean they do make a lot of these Ani theaters they’ve got a lot of these they have found ruins haven’t they in SP and um yeah it’s interesting you like the gy B buildings yeah they are quite interesting aren’t they very unusual um well they’re fascinating AR they you wonder how those angles and they built them very very clever CL about you but one of the nicest tours we did on in Barcelona was just going around on the coach wasn’t it yes I don’t know what that one was called but yeah that was well that was one of the um the red normal red oh they all than one color actually I think some are red is it green and yellow I think there’s a yellow one yellow and it tells you which root a bit like London Underground we got different colors for different Roots doing and you just buy a ticket and you just go on and off uh around the city as you like I think they come every 10 15 minutes so I can’t remember what the the timing of it was but they take you up around you go around um all the mainy buildings that’s the the cathedral and so up around the football stadium yeah that’s right they do take you on a good tour tour I can’t remember what we paid I would imagine it was probably about €25 each each but that was a few years ago few years back don’t it’ be more than that now possibly Barcelona by bike yeah yeah that’d be good I’d enjoy that yeah be for you like my mountain biking so yes you you’d enjoy that enjoy thing it’ be good not really I’m more about the food one oh what’s that say El raval the walking tour and micro Brewery visit I mean yeah you would like that yeah mind you I’m not really fast on the beer the lady’s eating chips or something I thought oh this one on the third page Fantasy Island Water Park oh okay so that’s a0 ago swimming pools on the ship so I don’t know and we have got a kids section where they’ve got things shooting and you know a mini version of like a water par you so but yeah what whatever whatever floats your boat really that’s it oh I had to say that okay so that was [Music] bar Aly oh yeah Al KY we’ve done it now what did we do in alation hang on come on oh the olive yes yes oh right yes that was lovely so the olive oil and Al alcoy we couldn’t say it right we mispronounced it last time but we didn’t get I think it was such a hot day the video camera was uh a little bit overwhelmed and it didn’t record didn’t record so we only got a few pictures of that but I really can um yeah really can recommend that one highly recommend it probably well it may or may not sell out that one because it was quite a small number of guests they could do they yes they’re like a small intimate group of people it it was really really nice I mean the actual um the actual trip was you head to these uh olive oil Vineyards at the end Vineyard yeah well it’s not called a Vineyard is it that’s for the wine it no it was a Vineyard was it yes cuz you got you got Vines of the um the fruit yes okay yes so no is right that is right so anyway but it was a very nice um gentleman that did the tour and it was his family home as well he was the yeah impressive farm and yeah yeah yeah was impressive Place yeah he was the son of the family original original family Barm that um yeah it was very very interesting um obviously we use a lot of oil olive oil uh cooking um and uh now I know the difference between extra virgin olive oil and normal cooking olive oil there is a difference um and also we got to see the lovely place alcoy did I pronounce that right yeah I think so so that one was remember was just a straightforward sort of Spanish City wasn’t it we ended up in a sort of like a square didn’t we that’s oh yes that’s right the coffee machine was broken yes the uh the lady that worked the coffee machine she’d got a day off and the lady they’d left in charge the only could do the soft drinks wasn’t it oh that that’s right yes but the square was beautiful yeah again see the video um that was quite interesting quite a lot of history around that square I found it fascinating anyway but we we did kept a cold drink in the end and to be honest it was a hot day so uh a cold drink was much better than probably a coffee anyway was hot it was hot everyone had a drink of water from the pump oh they did one of them didn’t he did a whole bunch on it and he just went and he was like oh it was super h i remember it was yeah we were sweating um so now we’ve got uh Sierra grossa hike oh not for us gosh there’s so many I don’t know I don’t know what I would I think we should just walk around maybe catch those buses we were talking about before and because we’ve not really been to we’ve only well we did last year we did the olive yes but we didn’t actually walk around the actual city did we but normally what we like to do if it’s somewhere new we don’t know is walk around and do what we suggested earlier and catch those red buses or yellow or green whatever buses and uh get to know the area um and then if we go back at another time we then do the excursions I think we have been to alakan before but I just can’t remember it was obviously quite a while ago okay and Paul doesn’t remember I have no chance so yeah I don’t think no cheese making and vermouth tasting vermouth tasting that’s the type of drink isn’t it verou is it okay yes um I think it’s quite a strong you only have a little nip you know um that’s interesting to learn how to make cheese or we know how to make oil olive oil extra version olive oil and then you can learn how to make cheese alante um yeah I think I’m with you on this one I think probably just do the bus around yeah just have a look around see what we can see on [Music] foot yeah good old caders yeah we like caders gosh you realize that’s like nearly the whole holiday oh my God is the last the land day last stop yeah land stop you got C days and then you’re home yeah I think you got two oh my God you see how quickly that went that went so quick L good is Andalusia is a uh historical region of Spain I suppose Cadiz is like the city yeah and Andalusia is probably like one of little villes like a county if you like okay so like you would have Canterbury in tent yeah I got you in Andalusian I suppose I suppose obviously if I’m WR to just put a comment yes let us know I’m guessing something like that that’s a nearby place I think we’ve been to parts of yeah yeah this is here I think we have been to Seville haven’t we a couple of times at least once I know we have been there let’s have a look at yeah another water park they’re big on water parks I don’t know it’s Oh dolphin and well watching oh that’s a new one yeah I like the S of that one that’s £59 but it’s a drive along the southern tip of Europe and search for Wales Dolphins okay not on a on a little bo not on a little oh that’s a shame okay never mind it sounded good though I thought you’d be in a little boat but never mind a Trail of Two Cities we’ve done that one that’s quite a good one actually wasn’t it the traal of two I think that’s where we went to Seville on that one when we did the traal of Two Cities a look JZ that’s it yeah we did do that I think last time what we did learn on that trip when we came back to cadis was that we normally used to go up to the Cathedral Square which was easy walking distance at cadis yeah do you remember where they have the hot hot chocolates in the winter oh yeah yeah and you can walk around the cathedral and go to the left and head back to the beach but what did we discover this time that we’d forgotten about you go up further and there’s a whole load more shs oh yes there’s like a whole like more shops than there were before that’s right yes and we had no idea this whole huge area we thought it kind of finished at the Cathedral but you go up further and there’s a whole load of more sh go around the corner and huge and yeah same thing again more yeah good that’s right more shops maybe just go around I think we said we were going to go look around said we were going to walk around up there on our own yeah CU we we had no idea the matter of times we’re being there we had no idea mhm okay so what do you think yeah lot of choice there isn’t that yeah it sounds like a lot of nice places and uh choices you can do um yeah just have to think nothing really really jumped out at us that we had to do um okay yeah there might be one or two things we might do but I think a lot of it will be walking around and catching the the uh red buses I think we’re going to mainly try and do it ourselves this time not not for any other particular reason than we did tours we wanted to do last year yeah so we’re happy to maybe go go It Alone this year sweet yeah so uh yeah we’ll uh
