This is the Republic station. I am now heading to the flea market on the Rue de Bretagne. This is the most stylish flea market in Paris, held only twice a year. What will we find this time? Hello, monsieur-. How much for this one? I’ve already sold this one. It’s already sold! They have already sold it. But it’s only the first stall. We’re just getting started. This bowl is made in England. It’s beautiful. Ah, travailleuse! But the price compared to Amiens’. It was 30€ in Amiens . And here’s what I found, This. This street name plate. Unusual chocolate color for it. Victor Hugo street. There are some common blue street name plates are over there. Which would be better, blue or brown? The brown plate is quite pretty too. I go further. Here I join Aiko. Oh, this fabric store has some cute things. Voila. Like this. Wow! This store is great for people who sew. It’s nice. Very pretty. Yup. Really. Cute. Cool. Rusty cool bike. It would be cool to see this in a cafe or something. I think it would be cool to see it in a cafe. I like this chair too. Voila. Canisters. Glass canisters. Beautiful. It’s beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it. Cute! Your taste is gradually becoming Ryunosuke’s taste. Is it? Oh, look. I have a groseille. oh, it’s cute. Elegant pattern. Yes, it is. Oh, but this is E.BOURGEOIS; is that a different brand than yours? Yeah, look, this is E.BOURGEOIS. Why? I don’t know. Oh, lovely. Ah, terre de fer, and the soup bowl is beautiful. Beautiful when it’s all together. Yes, it’s beautiful. And this is a place where there are always a lot of plates on display. I previously bought a salad bowl from MARION in Saint Amand and a ravier from Robinson in Sarreguemines here. This time I found this plate. I love it, but… How much is this? Cute. I’ll put this one on hold for now. I’m going to look at a few more others before I decide. I have a feeling that there is less variety than last time. This may be due to the fact that the last time the event was held in the fall was postponed to January of this year, so it has only been 4 months since the last time. Still, look at this beautiful lineup of plates. And then I found this enameled porte-savon. Behind it, there is one from a certain series of enameled ones that I love in blue and white. I don’t really like the colors on this one. I accidentally missed it at this time. Oh, 130, expensive. 120, maybe 2. 120, expensive, a little bit. A plate of asparagus. Up to here? Don’t you think this is too much? Yes, it is. Fish. For some reason, there are fish here. It says Kilo 15. Aiko took a photo for her instagram. Pot stand. This beautiful blue color attracted me. But I’ll pass it this time. Do you have this soup container? I don’t have it. But I already have so many soup containers that I don’t have room for them. I don’t need to buy any more soup bowls. Wow, wow. This is amazing. A big gold-rimmed mirror. Doesn’t this look expensive, maybe 300? I wonder if it would be more expensive? My guess is 300€. I should have bought this pot stand now I regret it. There it is again. There was porte-louche and porte-savon from that enameled series I love so much. There it is! This this this! This is much damaged. It’s very scratched. Let’s ask how much this is? Well, what’s the price? 80, 80€. And this one? Both. Oh, 80€ for both. I didn’t need both, so I decided against buying this one. Hey, look. This looks very old. Gien. i have never seen it before. I just bought this the other day. I bought this fork for oysters the other day. Oh, they are cute. I don’t know why it looks so nice. But I wish it were silver… Stuffed bears are expensive. I can never afford an antique stuffed bear. There it is. It’s not bad, right? Yeah, it’s not bad. How much? This is heavy! The little gold mirror I’ve been looking for. 60€ is now 50€, but still a little too pricey for me to step out of buying. I’m going to think about it. I have decided to think about it some more. If this has been sold, just consider that you didn’t have a chance at this. Yeah, I’ll have to look at a few more before I make a decision. Found a beautiful set of plates. Choisy-le-Roi. Here were beautiful saucers. And this store. Beautiful. Look. It’s so beautiful. Which manufacturer? 55. But it’s not expensive. I don’t know which manufacturer this was from. There are a lot of beautiful ones. Look at this. This is Sarreguemines Ivory series. That is very beautiful. Yes, it is! Hello madam. This is Sarreguemines, isn’t it? Yes, Sarreguemines. Yes, Sarreguemines. Yeah, that’s right. That is very beautiful. Here, here’s the cups. You put those in here. There were cups from the Ivory series from Sarreguemines. I just bought these the other day. Neige series from Sarreguemines. Beautiful too. Those ones are very beautiful, kind of like new ones. These are old plates, but it’s because they’ve been sitting in the cupboard for a long time without being used at all. Choisy-le-Roi. 80€ in all. A light coffee time here already. Energy recharged. We are off again. And soon I found some too. There were a lot of plates here. And I found, ta-da! Here it is. Basque pattern. This is the Béarn series. You did it. I did it! And others, yes, Ryunosuke! This is a plate that Ryunosuke-san would like. There are quite a lot of pretty plates. Look, look. Like the plates around here. Like the plates around here. Aren’t they amazingly lovely? And dishes like this. I thought, I found it. Dishes randomly placed on the ground. All of these plates I wanted. There are some around here like this and some like this. This one is pretty, too. This one, look. I bought it. And I also found pretty canisters. Those are cute. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 pieces, all for 80€. Not so expensive. Oh, and this one. There’s also a pot. Cute. I think this is pretty good. There are always a lot of café au lait bowls in this store. Look. Look, there’s one like this. Cute! It’s nice. It’s going to be a set with that plate. Cute. I have never seen that before. Here. Yes. Cute. Cute. This display around here, it’s so good. Oh, you’ve got it here! But those ones here are a little newer. Yes, they are. Interesting. This looks like a Basque pattern. It looks like that. One thing I’ve been wanting lately is a vintage wooden box. Chimay. this is a beer box. This. There is this. Can I hold this. Voilà. What I want is the artichoke one, but this might be a little different. I’ve always wanted one of these. How much does it cost? It might be too heavy to bring this home. But I want this one. This is very heavy. Naturally. And there’s another discovery. Here it is. Voila. Oh my gosh, this is a set of enameled pots and pans from B.B. Eh! How much is that? I wonder if they are very cheap. Where are the shopkeeper ? shopkeeper . I don’t see anyone at the store. The shopkeeper was resting in his car. How much is this, 60€. 60€, for everything? That is cheap. 60€ for the set is an absolute steal. But it’s not in my budget. Let’s consider this for now. This is a vintage clothing store. Last time I was here, I found a lot of very nice clothes. Cute. What was it? A brand like this. A long time ago. I forgot the name of the brand: Sybilla! Wasn’t Sybilla something like this? Cute. Eh! Hey, this is very cute. Voila! Cloak. Cute. Wow, all the clothes here are original. Cute. This one looks like secondhand clothes. Well! Lovely. This is Lovely. Look, a leather coat. That looks so nice. It’s nice. Here, this store was here last time. So there’s good stuff here? Yes, it does. That’s Burberry. Oh, really. It’s true. This one is cute too. It’s true. This is a great nice leather. Does this look good on me? It looks good on you. Yup. This is nice. Is that Verssace? Oh, it seems to be. Yes, it is. Cute. Lots of good stuff here. This is, isn’t that it, Pierre Hermé’s cafe. (This was more of a sales store than a cafe.) There is also a Poilâne and a waffle store Méert around here. Wooden benches. Large. Aren’t the chairs pretty too? I think this one is nice too. There’s a lot of stuff here that makes me want to look for things and dig for things. This is for eating escargot, right? Yes. And in France, when you eat cake, you eat it with a spoon, right? Yes. I don’t like that very much. So I would like to have forks for cake, too, in my opinion. He said this one is also 2€. This is also a silver one. You see, because there are marks from when they plated the silver. That’s right. So, 2€. This is not bad. A small glass is 2€. A little further down the street is the store where I previously bought a basket and some plates. dinette (play-doh) chair and table made of rattan. That is this store. These colors are amazingly beautiful. 70€. This is beautiful. Let’s see what’s good. This store is always at this flea market and you can find very nice things. Beautiful. Beautiful. Oh, here it is. Here it is. There it is. I have this. Too bad. Oh, but this is a little different. I have this one, and this is what both of these look like. This is how it looks like. It’s different from mine. Isn’t that elongated? It’s not elongated, but this is how it’s supposed to pour. Isn’t it nice? Yes, it is. That’s interesting, too. Oh, this is useful. Like this. And the sauce doesn’t drip, because there’s a plate right here. That’s nice. There it is. There were morning cups. There is a set of these. 1,2,3,4,5. Cute. What should I do? What shall I do? It’s not often that a set is in such a good condition. 1 piece 25. I want them all! But I can’t. I can’t buy them. It’s so frustrating. I like this plate a lot too. This is sarreguemines . Oh! Simple. Elegant. Elegant. Nice. There it is! Here. Here. This platter. Are they both a little different in size? This one is very nice though. Should I buy it, what should I do? This I don’t understand. This says 20 and this says 10. Which is correct, shouldn’t it say 10, it’s 10. This one and this one are different sizes. This one is bigger. It’s bigger. I bought this platter the other day. But I don’t know which size I bought. Eh!!! Which one did I buy? This one? Was it this one? I think it’s this one. But this one a little bit, there’s a little bit of stained. Penetration and staining. Shame. There is some staining. If this had not been there, I would have bought this. So I will not buy this one this time. That was a little disappointing. This store with items randomly laid out on the ground. It is fun to find something among these miscellaneous items. There is something. There is a plate here. But this was all I found. Oh, there’s a tool-type thing. 25€. Interesting. I have not seen many of these types of things. Here is what Aiko found. 30. what do you think? Do you think this is good? Good. What manufacturer is this? It doesn’t have a mark on it. But. Do you want to ask which manufacturer this is from? Oh, it may not be what I think it is. This says England. Pretty! Yes, A. I’ll buy this one. She wasn’t sure which one to buy, this one or that one, but she went with that one. Here it is. There you go…from Lunéville. 20€. But…. WEDGWOOD. 15€. This says WEDGWOOD. Isn’t this good? Look, this is 15€. It is a little dirty. But it is from WEDGWOOD. Lovely. But a little stained. This would have been great if it wasn’t so stained. Voila. Lovely. Oh, there it is again. 45. quite, this is a good price. Here ends our stroll through the flea market. Next we’re off to a cafe where we’ll have a nice cup of green tea. That is the Umami Matcha Cafe here. This is a matcha cafe always full of French people. Of course, you can also get good coffee here. In the cafe, you can find Japanese foodstuffs and other items for sale. Binchotan is put in the water. There are organic green tea drinks, food, soba, buckwheat noodles. There is also a bowl of rice. There is a Oyako-don bowl. Wow, good for you. Beautiful! Beautiful! Wow! Lovely! I really think 30€ was a bargain for this. Yes, I think it was a bargain. I think it was a bargain. Matcha cheesecake. Voila. Yuzu tea Black sesame flan Matcha cappuccino Oh! Cheesecake. Looks delicious. Matcha cheesecake. How do you like it? I’ll start. Looks delicious. I also love flan, so I chose sesamu, black sesame flan. Yes, it looks like this. Delicious. Delicious. This one isn’t too sweet, with the aroma of black sesame! This is delicious. But, it is not so sweet, so the French probably won’t find it sweet enough for them. Amazing. Black sesame is still delicious. This is a matcha, what was it called? It is matcha cappuccino. I am Japanese after all. This taste makes me feel very comfortable. I like coffee, but I still like this matcha flavor. Delicious. I feel revived. Today I was very satisfied. I put them here, but I got my wish,I got my mirror, I got that Béarn plate, and what was the other thing? Yes, and I also got that panneau, panel, and road sign. That was another one I always wanted to buy. Really, this time it was a bargain 30€. I think prices like this are rare. I am not sure, though. This time, as we were walking along, someone from Hong Kong approached me. She said, “I am watching your videos. She said that she had been to Japan on a trip and here she is. And we took a picture together. I was happy that she approached me. Today I was very happy. Now, the introduction of what I bought this time is in the second half of the video. Please take a look. Okay, I’ll take it. Hello, I’m Poné This time I showed you how I went to that very stylish brocante, rue de Bretagne brocante, which is held twice a year. This time this brocante (flea market) in Bretagne street is twice a year. But actually, the last brocante for the fall was held in January of this year. So it was only 1, 2,, 5, only 4 months since then, so I would imagine that the stores probably had a hard time getting their items together. I had the impression that there were a little less goods than usual this brocante. But it was indeed a brocante from Bretagne street. I found what I had been looking for all along there. It was a 3-day event and I went on Friday, the first day of it. As soon as I arrived at this brocante, roughly the first, second, third, fourth, or fourth store, I immediately found and bought a plate with the street name. I had been looking for a plate with this street name for a long time. But they were quite expensive. In one place I saw one that cost a little over 100€. So I thought, “Oh, at this price I won’t be able to afford this for a while. This plate I bought this time was actually only 30€. I was a bit surprised by this and even asked the shopkeeper if this was really 30€. This time I bought this chocolate-colored plate, There was also that blue one that you often see. And this one, I was quite torn between which one to buy. But I see this blue one in many places. But I thought this chocolate color must be quite rare, so I chose this one. The name of the street on this plate at is Victor Hugo Street. My husband’s profession, he’s also a philosophy teacher, but he’s also a writer. So this plate with Victor Hugo on it is one of the small reasons why I chose it, because I thought that my husband would probably like it. Blue and white oval dish shown here. This is from a store I found at the store where there are always a lot of plates and I always stop by and see when this brocante is held. But actually, when I found this one, I held off on buying it because I thought there might be something else better out there. Then I forgot all about this. So I l came home without buying this. So the next day, Aiko, who has been taking a lot of videos of me lately, said she was going to go back to this brocante, so I asked her if she could get me that plate if it was still there. And here is a plate with a Basque pattern. This one I was passing by one of the stores, and I couldn’t see them at all from the front, but there were quite a few plates stacked on the ground at the far end of the store. They were all plates that I wanted. Lately I’ve been trying to refrain from buying plates as much as possible, so I had to settle for this one basque patterned plate. And this mirror. If you’ve been watching my videos, you already know all this. I wanted to put a bunch of smaller mirrors around the big mirror on the wall as you walk in the front door of my house, and I was looking for a smaller mirror. But it was difficult to find smaller mirrors. So I have never been able to buy one, but this time I was finally able to buy one that I thought would be nice. The original price of this one was 60€. The first negotiation was for 50€. But then I left for a moment to think about it some more. So we happened to be talking with a Japanese buyer from Japan. And we were talking about this mirror. And then he said, well, shall I negotiate it for you? Thanks to that person, he was able to make this 40€ and I was able to buy this. It was great. Thanks to that person who was used to negotiating and spoke excellent French, I was finally able to buy this for 40€ without hesitation. And last but not least, we went to that Umami cafe. It is a really interesting cafe. It’s a café that combines Japanese and French café culture. There, you can buy Japanese products, eat oyakodon (rice topped with chicken and eggs), and drink green tea. It really is a very nice cafe for us Japanese. It is located right next to the Republique train station. If you have a chance, everyone should go there. First of all, this Basque-patterned plate. This one, unfortunately, has a little bit of chipping. Here it is. Can you see it? But it’s a chip in the white area, so it’s not at all obvious at a glance. And the reverse side. This is Creil-Montereau. And this is a blue and white oval dish. This is made in Belgium. The backstamp looks a bit like the word Boch is visible here. I also think the leaf pattern is simple but very cute. And this mirror. The mirror is not in bad condition, so it could have been recently changed the mirror to a new one since it looks like this. There is a board attached to the back. And this street name plate. Blue is nice, but this color is pretty too. Now, where shall I decorate it? Also, please look forward to the next video!
