Took a few days out in Ronda in Spain for Brian’s 60th birthday February 2015. It gets pretty cold and wet in the mountains during February, but we picked a great day to mountain bike the Puerta Verde de Marbella. The track is an ancient path traveling mainly downhill from the cloudy heights of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park to Puerto Banus on the Mediterranean coast. That’s a 30km + ride with a decent decent of over 1300 metres.

Many Thanks to Wayne and Heather of http://www.hikeandbikeholidays.com/ for the hire of the 29 inch hardtail bikes and guided tour. Sorry for the poor exposure on the second part of the video, I must have pushed a button on the helmet camera that over exposed the shots.

    1. Perfect way to spend my 60th. Many thanks to Phil for arranging and for this record of the event and to Ryan, Trevor for sharing an amazing day and to our guide Wayne for leading us down thru the mountains in one piece.
