so in this one today I am going to be reviewing the guru a class margin 8 meter so basically Guru do all different sizes they do the 5.5 the eight so there’s a very good choice for what you want the 5.5 for me is better for someone who’s just starting out fishing and wants to get used to a pole and the good thing is you’ve got that pre premium brand and you know it’s not going to let you down so what we’re going to do we’re going to have a quick feel of this pole we’re going to test for stiffness see how the sections are and all that good stuff and as well uh looks is a big thing to everybody you know some a lot of people want the pole that looks nice and does the job so like I said this pole is at 8 m and I’m not joking the first thing that I noticed with this pole is just how light it is it feels so light and I have got a second camera set up as well so you’ll be able to see just how nice and stiff this pole is at the end now when I’m striking with that I would have absolutely no problems with that there’s not a lot of Bounce in it you know for a margin pole and also as well shipping the pole back just feels very nice you know that’s always a big point and again when you get onto the sections there is a nice carbon feel to it on the back section it’s a nice you know silky finish now what I always look for in pose as well is the sections you know are the strong or the durable and the end of this section is just so good the joints feel strong as anything you know the joints on the sections are just amazing and they feel absolutely solid and then even when you’re putting the joints back on you know it all just feels very premium which is kind of what you expect from Guru you know they’re very nice very reliable you get in two top kits they are 5.8 millimet so again that is another good thing getting two top kits will allow you to set two you know two top kits so you could have one Short Line one long line with different grades or elastic in which is always nice one you could set up for silverfish the other you could set up for maybe car but like to said that striking is just so nice and for those as well that are not bothered about holding a PO you know sometimes a lot of people especially if you’re new getting into fishing you know poles can be a bit daunting they can feel a bit heavy you know again when you’re shipping back you want to feel you know it just feels solid straight away you just you just know it’s just such a nice pole like I said and 8 m is a good range and also another good thing to put your mind to is these are uh pre- bushed and they have the side roller PS which are just brilliant that is a good thing it saves you having to drill the top kit and do all that so one thing that I really do appreciate with this poll is the looks you know very nice looks very nice finish to wiar if you are buying this as a first time poll or maybe you want to add you know a margin P it’s just looks lovely it’s it’s really nice on the these sections if I just ship it back a bit you know you’ve got this nice sort of carbon finish to it very solid quality and like I said at the end of these sections when you press them together you know there’s absolutely no playing them and they’re definitely definitely not going to let you down whatsoever and I’m I’ve always been a big fan of the orange and then you know the a class series for me for Guru with their rods and everything they’ve just been brilliant and in the margin 800 you know it’s just it’s an absolute great bit i k this and I think a lot of people are going to like it and also I think it’s going to be a very very popular margin po so the price of this margin pole retails for £50 now for me that is a steal you know that is such a good deal for something this light and this strong with the name of you know like I said you’ve got the guru name you’ve got the Rel ability I actually can’t believe how cheap this is you know you’re getting a lot of kit for the price you know you’re getting your two top kits um and like I said you literally can’t go wrong for the price of this item just because it says margin on the pole it doesn’t mean you have to fish in the margin you can fish 8 meter out and have a great day fishing you haven’t just got to go in the margins and like I said the bonus thing with this is having them two top kits you know so you do have that versatility if you do want to fish two lines or you want to use two different grades of elastic that price is an absolute steal for me 150 for this is brilliant and what’s so impressive as well is the lightness when I was testing it there on the pole alley the lightness of this thing is unreal you have to feel it for yourself to know just how light this is I can easily hold that with one arm and everything and then when it comes to striking it’s so responsive and it’s very very impressive so that is it for this review if you did enjoy it and you know we’re going to be filming lots more poll Nice review Carl on what seems like a good starter pole for the money. What I always look at when I'm looking at any kind of pole is how easy it to get spares and how expensive are they compared to the pole itself 👍🎣
Good review an interesting pole. Other reviews last year at launch said you had to drill out your own side pullers, has that changed now then?
Anything is better than the maver reality margin pole.absolute bag of brittle shit.ive spent more replacing crumpled topkits than it's worth
