hello ladies and gentlemen today I’ll be giving you my final Euro 2024 predictions now of course this is not my first prediction video on this tournament but we are so close to it now each national team has also released their roster we’ll also know which players will be in or out due to injury and formed for certain players has changed over time so I’ll be going over most of that today of course if I missed any details or if you have any disagreements with my predictions please let me know in the comments Below in the previous videos I focused on the group stage and then sometimes released a sequel to my knockout bracket but this time I’ll be doing all of the above might put more focus on the group stage bit as I’m going to be analyzing each of the teams more but still we’ll be going through my complete bracket and giving you my winner at the end this tournament’s right around the corner Copa Amica is as well so if we hit 5,000 likes on this video I will release my Copo Medica predictions ASAP as well anyway let’s get into it starting off with group a the host Germany Scotland Switzerland and Hungary now I am still way too torn as to what’s going to happen in this group of course you’ve got the favorites the host Germany in this lots of people were doubting them earlier as I stated before they had a really poor run of form in 2023 but in the series of friendlies at the beginning of this year they have very much made their stance as they beat two top national teams Netherlands and France it seemed like prior many of these players were lacking passion or energy for the team but now they know that they really need to step up the gear as this tournament is coming up very soon cycling through managers hzi flick now they have nman and he’s been sticking to his tactics and they have seemed to now pay off of course so many inform players on this team one to watch for many is going to be vers he’s gotten 38 direct goal contributions across all competitions for by Leverkusen this season and from that friendly against France I talked about he scored a banger in the first minute against them which really seemed to set the tempo and momentum for Germany carrying forward there’s no denying that the side did have talent there were just some doubts to them prior but now the belief seems to be there they’re playing at their own home ground a similar thing happened in the 2006 World Cup where they looked to be doubtful in form and then they ended up having a very solid run their squad going into the tournament looks very solid the only thing I very much question nagan for not doing is selecting hmel what he has done for brusio Dorman this season taking them to the Champions League final is tremendous so for other names being selected over him I think it’s a slight crime but at the same time there could be something being going on behind the scenes and nman clearly has his ideas regardless the mix of young players and Veterans and bringing back Tony Cruz for one last go in a football shirt will be great to see I still don’t know about Germany winning the entire tournament but I think they can definitely set solid momentum especially at this first stage of the tournament 100% they should not be underestimating any of these other teams especially how those 2023 friendlies went scolin had a great run in the qualifier so did Hungary Switzerland was a bit shaky and we’ll get into them later but they still have a lot of Legacy going forward from the group stage in major International competitions regardless all that being said I’m not changing my prediction from the previous video Germany stays at the top for me at first place now the rest of the group is extremely tough to call I could see any of these sides having a solid run in the Euro tournament honestly but someone’s got to be at forth many hopes were high for the Scola national team after their incredible start to the euro qualifier campaign Scott mctom pulling through many times for the national team now he is reported to be injured he’s still in the squad but his return date at the time of this recording is unknown and there are some Fitness concerns obviously Robertson looks to be fit going in at the time of this recording so that’s a massive Pro and we can’t ignore the other quality midfielders they have especially John mcin on Aston Villa the midfielders especially Momin pull through with scoring the goals even when they seem to be struggling in the striker Department I mean Chay Adams has not been getting solid minutes for the national team throughout every single match but he still has not scored for Scotland since June 2022 and despite me saying Scotland’s form was fantastic at the beginning of the Euro qualifier campaign it has very much sunk their last win was against Cypress in September so they are now seven matches unbeaten yes they have played some tough teams and friendlies along the way including England France and the Netherlands but each time they play one of those sides they conceded three or more goals and their last friendly was against Northern Ireland who had been in pretty bad form and it’s no secret by now that despite scullin qualifying for quite a few International tournaments they have a terrible track record they have never progressed past the group stage in the Euros or the World Cup they’ve come close a few times but still never successful could this be the moment they break history well with their recent form it’s looking a bit doubtful someone who will be relying on History though is Switzerland yes their form has been quite questionable they were in a very easy group in the Euro qualifiers on paper for them at at least but they were heavy favorites to get first place and they fell short to Romania defensively at moments they’ve looked all over the place they’ve conceded two to Romania at one point three to bellus two to Kosovo so yes there are many reasons why you could potentially doubt Switzerland but again at least in recent history they have made it out of the group stage twice in a row in the Euros despite having some players who are past their Prime such as shakiti he still somehow is pulling through for the national team scoring quite a bit of goals and of course I think their most informed player right now on fire lusen is Gran the jaka and for hungry’s case you can argue that they weren’t fully tested in their Euro qualifier group as their only massive opponent on paper at least was Serbia regardless they still managed to defeat them twice in a row they did have a few questionable defensive displays against those minnows in the group but they were suffering some injuries including their leader in the back line Orban Hungary have been tested way too much especially in the last yearo tournament they were in the group of death now this group is more doable and I think they have the perfect opportunity to prove themselves last time also Soo was injured one of their best players people are critiquing him quite a bit for Liverpool this season as he’s been up and down in form but this guy in many moments produces magic for the national team I’ll never forget that free kick for example against turkey which for me really set his name for the international stage manager Mark rosi has a lot of belief and passion for the team I think it’s awesome that they’ve stuck with him for so long now he’s been their manager since 2018 and for me this is hungry’s time to shine again I really would not be surprised if I get this group completely wrong very tough one to call call even Germany might be giving us some false hope from those two friendlies earlier on this year but I still think they’re going to get First Place Hungary second Switzerland they will have their recent history on their side they get third and scolin unfortunately crash out of the group stage once again scullin of course I would love to see you prove me wrong but right now it’s just been way too many unfortunate tales for this national team and with the recent form it’s not looking too likely that that bad streak will be broken this year and a series of third place teams will qualify for the knock out stage I think Switzerland will be one of them so yeah Germany Hungary and Switzerland advance to The Knockouts Scotland send home early moving on to group Beach sorry I don’t think I’m going to stop making that bad joke we’ve got Italy Croatia Spain and Albania four incredible holiday destinations on side is a massive Underdog in this obviously qualifying for their second ever Euro tournament and already being placed in a group with so many Giants Spain Italy and Croatia are top 10 national teams in the world according to the current FIFA rankings Italy the last year champions of course Spain recent Nations League champions and Croatia finished third place in the last World Cup out of these Giants it seems like quite a bit of people are doubting Italy these days mainly due to previously not qualifying for the last two World Cups and of course also despite them winning the last year championship the management along with many veteran players are now gone but despite losing manini I do not think spetti is a downgrade in fact out of most of the national teams in the Euros this is a manager I think should be very much backed by his Nation of course winning the scudetto with Napoli in so long it was a tight Affair but he did qualify for the Euros at the end just above Ukraine not to mention they did beat two decent South American teams convincingly in the recent March friendlies it’s a new croing generation of players but he seems to know each of their roles very well yes the partnership of Kini and bonucci is now gone but the new generation of Defenders I think is very solid Baston of course the Marco both on Inter Milan manini on Roma scalvini on Atalanta in the Midfield barela is absolutely brilliant and then you’ve got some inform attackers like skaka or solini who had an incredible campaign with bolognia too much great individuality on this team a new generation of players that have a lot of pressure on their shoulders yes Italy won the last yearo championship but still their reputation with the World Cups I think is haunting them still and they very much need to prove themselves of course there’s also likes of kizo who shined in the last year tournament but has slowed down a tad bit at moments due to injury would be very cool to see him shine again another side that should have full trust in their manager which is a cont rsal take but still I very much think so is Croatia I mean what zlot galic has achieved with the Croatian national team in recent years is remarkable yes the Euro history has not been great but he’s only had one go so far at that tournament in specific and let’s keep in mind that it was a very close affair with Spain in the round of 16 going to extra time they nearly completed a beautiful comeback just could not seal the deal at the end there going to be a lot of debate on how to use his key players though for example gavar theol known more for his Center back role for the Croatian national team towards the end of the season in the Premier League for Manchester City he was being used at left back and performed tremendously there also in the attack who’s going to be the designated Center forward budimir was fantastic for osasuna but still does not seem for me to shine for the national team and even though he pulled off some fantastic numbers in La Liga he still goes on to take penalties like this Bruno petkovic Dino Zagreb Striker is an absolute wild card we saw him have an electric display against the Netherlands in the Nations League finals and we can never forget about his equalizer against Brazil in the world cup and then you got a player that could be more versatile playing in different positions but at Center forward in the Bundesliga this season towards the end he was phenomenal karic in the last match of the Bundesliga he scored a hat-trick against Bayern Munich and got an assist as well getting four direct goal contributions there but not just that match in the last seven Bundesliga matches he got at least one direct goal contribution he does show some inconsistencies here and there but there’s no denying he finished off this Bundesliga campaign with a remarkable goal tally and who knows it could continue to translate for the national team he’s had some brilliant moments for them as well along with the attack it will be interesting to see if pesich is utilized more as he was injured for most of the season started to play towards the end in the Croatian league for haiduk split but of course Croatia’s biggest talking point always is the Midfield with Luca Modric brovich kovic pasich also sometimes utiliz in the attack but very underrated and the defense is looking solid can’t forget about stanishic who had many clutch moments for Bayer lusen this season Croatian national team always have so much fighting spirit even with the poor yo track record not being able to qualify past the first round of Knockouts they’ve still had some terrific group stage performances along the way so maybe in the later stages I will be a little bit more skeptical even then I don’t know it’s going to be tough of course against these opponents but let’s also not forget that Italy has never been the side since Croatia had become an independent nation Spain have of course but Croatia also have gotten the best of them in Euro history before I’m looking at 2016 in the group stage for example but in recent times Spain did get the best of Croatia in the Nations League where they did when the penalty shootout stopping Croatia from winning their first ever International trophy Spain to me in recent times randomly have a moment where their form is question but it’s just a massive wakeup call for them and then they end up winning loads of games the last Euros for example they struggled a bit especially in front of go marata was heavily questioned but they secured second place in the group and then made it all the way to the semi-finals the zero qualifier campaign as well lost to Scotland at the beginning and then they pick themselves back up topping the group and there’s too much great individuality that love to blend well together and have a very solid identity of play Roger at the moment the best center defensive mid in the world they’ll be missing Gabi but pedri should be fit it’ll be interesting to see if they can utilize Grimaldo well lamin Ma has had a terrific instant rise he’s already about to set records becoming the youngest ever player to play at the Euro championship and finally Albania now they very much know for some time the situation they’re getting into one of the toughest imaginable groups possible for them and it’s very unfortunate as they want to look to break history and they still should believe in themselves one of the most passionate nations in the world with their manager svino who has revolutionized this team this side scored so many bangers in the Euro qualifiers but they do have quality names we cannot ignore for example there Center back damti he’s a Europa League winner he started for most of atalanta’s matches this season maai is one to watch out for as well from spartac Moscow an incredible fullback the youngster asani on Inter Milan the attack though should be interesting many other names that are under the radar have been pulling through for the national team unlike Boya who is their more well-known player and has seemed to decline since injury they haven’t utilized him at all in the Euro qualifiers and decided to in the last friendlies where they did lose both matches conceding three to Chile and then one to Sweden maybe Albania is just saving the energy for the Euros but they really need to prepare well because it’s going to be too tough against these teams I think I’m sorry to say Albania I really really hope you guys prove me wrong but too many Giants in this group maybe if it were a different one I’d have more faith I’m putting them at Fourth Place the rest of the order is too tough again would very much not be surprised if I’m completely wrong on this but regardless of my order I do see all of these teams advancing to the next round as I see the point gap being quite close my order is going to be changing though in the past I said Spain first place now I’m going to say Italy 3D Spain 2 Croatia first now I know many people are going to come at me saying I’m too biased on this but again Croatia do love to pull through in the group stage in this competition in The Knockouts though I’m not too sure it depends what their matchups are in the later stages moving on to group C we’ve got England Denmark Serbia and Slovenia now the only potential certainty I have to this group is England are topping it this side are constant favorites in the tournament despite never winning it and their squad is only improving many of those players that featured were young back then within those past 3 years they’ve gained a lot more experience I mean Saka is still only 22 years old for example Jude Bellingham massively on the rise this year one of the best midfielders right now too many players in individually to talk about England is such a competitive national team to get into in the first place and Southgate definitely has his favorites tomori is still not being selected for the national team but to be fair a lot of other center backs recently have been stepping up for the nation other big names missing include rashford who has been very much struggling at United Raheem Sterling who scored a goal in every single group stage match in the Euro’s last season is also missing out but again there’s too much competition and quality there’s a lot of pressure always for this national team Southgate despite all the criticism he gets has had somewhat of a Deep Run in every International Tournament he has managed so far World Cup semi-final exit to Croatia Euro 2020 losing on penalties to Italy in the final and in the last World Cup quarterfinal exit to France who made it to the final besides being able to beat Italy in the Euro qualifiers England have been struggling recently against sides that are in the top 10 national team list in the FIFA rankings we saw them recently play friendlies against Brazil and Belgium and failed to beat them both so I think depending on England’s path is how far they will progress in this tournament but this group is doable for them most of the time when they come up against a side that do not compete or equal to them on paper they do well again I could go on and on with the individuality on this team but to save myself some time I’m just going to move forward to the other Sides Now another reason why I’m so confident in England is because all three of these national teams are way too much of a mixed bag they’re all three national teams that many even their own fan base do not seem entirely confident in Denmark of course were semi-finalists in the last euros and had a terrific campaign especially after losing their first two matches in the group stage they bounced back wonderfully and built incredible momentum there’s such a solid side on paper in many many positions but compared to that Euro 2020 run their confidence and playing style has looked very different they look a lot more hesitant compared to before and it could be because of that shocking World Cup exit as many people predicted them to be the dark hor of the tournament following that incredible Euro campaign in the Euro qualifiers yes they top the group but still too many matches where it looked a bit too hesitant for them they lost to Kazakhstan at one point where Kazakhstan got an incredible comeback against them they also conceded to San Marino the worst national team in the world and only scored two against them slovania were also in this Euro qualifier group and they failed to beat Denmark at all but they did pick up one draw against them and the victory was narrow yes Demar had some good displays but I feel like they still failed to show dominance which they should have considering the side they are on paper compared to the rest of this group one guy I’m of course excited to see is their Striker hant who you can argue was under helming for Manchester United this season but he’s still consistently pulled through for the national team I think it’s wonderful that they’re continuing to trust hman despite that shocking World Cup exit but I am concerned if they can replicate what they did in the last yearo tournament they have the foundation they just need to build the confidence when more eyes are on them they seem to crumble take the World Cup as the last example too many people consider them Dark Horses of the tournament like I said now another side many of their own fans are quite skeptical of because of their recent performances despite having some great individuality is Serbia this is technically their debut of the Euros because previously they played under Yugoslavia and even back then it was shocking that they couldn’t qualify as an independent nation so much incredible individuality over time and now it’s mostly focused on the attack and Midfield but what’s Laing this time compared to before is the defense they’re conceding way too many goals and pixie continuously uses the three in the back formation which is just not working out well yes they qualified for Euro 2024 at the end but they’re in that same group as Hungary they fell short to Hungary both times they face them and it would have been shocking if they could not Advance over these other sides no offense they still failed to beat Bulgaria at all despite them finishing Rock Bottom the group I think they’re going to really have to count on the attack to make a difference to pull through but even if they do find the goals will they end up conceding more I mean who knows mitrovich has been on absolute fire in the Saudi League 34 direct goal contributions in 28 matches for those of you that have stuck around the channel for a while you know that I still support this national team I support all the EX Yugoslavia Nations but I’m just too doubtful in that after they disappointed me in the World Cup as I predicted them to shine there and then moving on to Slovenia this is a side most people are ruling out in this group despite having a few great individual players most people know like oblock and go shesko at Center forward many people are ruling out this side there are still heavy underdogs as they’ve only qualified for one year- tournament Pride which finished in the group stage but this side I think is building confidence and momentum over the past few years they shared points with Denmark in the Euro qualifiers at the end despite falling short to Second and for those arguing that they weren’t tested enough in that group well they did just defeat Portugal in a friendly ending their unbeaten run one player I’m really excited to see make a return is ilic as well who was phenomenal during his Prime at Atalanta he took some time off of football because he was dealing with depression and has had a miraculous comeback in the Slovenian League can he prove his worth for the national team as well this is a side I think many people are ignoring but they very much can surprise at this tournament most people definitely putting this side at fourth place in their predictions but but I’m going to be putting Serbia again I hope I’m wrong on this if I could choose the group it would be Serbia and Slovenia in first and second but even though sery have qualified for a few World Cups they always fall short there and we saw in the last World Cup where they really were exposed defensively they still scored the goals and they still had a group stage exit maybe pixie can turn things around and find new tactics for them but I do not really see them playing out to their favor it’s still possible because like I said Denmark are looking doubtful in some ways slovania IA massive Underdog they could beat one of them head-to-head and still Advance a third maybe even second but I’m putting them at fourth place now for second and third I am so tempted to put Sylvania in that second place spot they have what it takes for sure and even though Denmark are showing their concerns I think they can build themselves up maybe look hesitant at times but still securing second place slovania third unfortunately slovania I’m going to say you’re the first third place team in this video that do not advance to The Knockouts moving on to group with France Austria Netherlands and Poland now according to the current FIFA rankings this is actually the group of death most people consider Group B the group of death but on average with all these national teams this is the most difficult group many people have France and the Netherlands to get first and second place but the other two underdogs can definitely make a name for themselves here and I have one of them slightly upsetting Netherlands a little bit so let’s start off with who I think will finish last place unfortunately this is not changing it’s Poland look big respect to this National team for coming back after that disastrous group stage Euro qualifier campaign losing to malova one of the worst ranked European national teams was not pretty but they still secured a playoff spot destroyed Estonia and then Advanced over Wales on penalties which actually is quite a tough task considering Wales have an incredible home record and this match was played in Cardiff this side has incredible goalkeeping options of course their man man being schz he was phenomenal in that match against Wales and a huge reason why they are in this group today but even if he somehow out with an injury or something they’ve got bulka to rely on as well who’s really been on the rise with nce this year and can’t forget about skorupski as well and bologna yeah they’re stacked and chzn did announce that this will be his last major International Tournament with the national team so even in the future I think paen will be set into this department great individuality in certain positions of course Unfortunately they will most likely be missing Matty cash as he is ruled out for injury but they still got the leg suvio who is on the rise zolinski in the Midfield and of course one of the best strike is Robert levandowski a huge reason why Poland were so Dreadful in the group stage of the E qualifiers was because of their management appointment of Fernando Santos couldn’t get the team to click well or motivate them at all but now under Pro they have not lost a match they drew a few sure but still no losses but you can argue that they have not been fully tested as this group is going to be too tough compared to those opponents they just faced their toughest ones just now were Czech Republic and Wales France and Netherlands are obviously no joke and Austria this side has really been something else lately ex-man United manager Ralph ragn has really revolutionized this side where they nearly equalized on points with Belgium in the Euro qualifiers being one of the best teams to finish second in the Euro qualifier group stage and he’s truly just getting the best out of these players lots of underrated gems saal sabit are a Champions League finalist lymer on Bayern Munich bumgardner the defense also they will be missing David ala due to injury which is obviously a huge loss but I still think they will be covered in this department troner wor the experience PA Chum balona the fullback and then the attack you got experienced players like arnovic and gregoric who by the way just scored a hat-trick against turkey in a friendly Austria defeated this side 6 to1 and also defeated Slovakia in that same International break 2-0 prior to that in a friendly they defeated Germany as well the last time the side were on a consecutive losing streak was when they were in that difficult Nations League group where they still were playing solid football it was just going to be a tough task with those teams they had to face and Ralph ragn was clearly still forming this team together now the only match they lost in recent times was against Belgium but they finished 2 to3 maybe I’m praising them a bit too much I’m seeing a lot of other people are mentioning great things about this national team at the moment rightfully so maybe they could be overhyped and will end up sinking like turkey did in the last yearo tournament but right now I have faith in them to advance the next round not going to be easy against France or Netherlands of course but I do think Netherlands are showing a few flaws they definitely seem to not be as tactically sound and organized compared to the World Cup and preparing for that World Cup as well unfortunately think Coman is a big downgrade to venal he just hasn’t seemed to tactically get this team together and they are still struggling against sides that you can argue are even with them on paper they disappointed in the Nations League finals when it was played on their own home ground and sure finished second place in the Euro qualifiers but did have some matches where they just squeezed through of course there’s no denying the quality of this side they have some of the best players the young is injured and should be returning just before the Tournament begins incredible defensive players on paper van djk a so many more and pun is one of those many names from Leverkusen that have been so phenomenal this year chvy Simmons has been impressing don’t get me wrong on paper this side should be one of the favorites of the tournament there is no denying that but they just don’t look as organized as they should be and a side that have been impressing so much lately Austria I think can potentially upset them therefore in this group I’m going to go for a bit of a shock saying Netherlands get third place and Austria second with Netherlands still advancing to the next round Netherlands despite having a Euro Championship to their name have fallen short in this tournament prior many times so it would not be that shocking of a turn of events in history if they do flop here and of course that means I have France at first place look I think they are one of the best teams in this tournament relying on the shamps has worked for them wonderfully yes he has some questionable takes like talking about how he might not be playing ciba much but the T this country have is absolutely next level one of the best forwards Killian mbapp is looking to redeem himself as well after having a disappointing Euro campaign last time around too many Midfield options it’s going to be interesting to see if Z Emory is implemented a lot also brought in con back which is going to be very exciting to see we’ll see if France falls short in this tournament like they did in the last one they got knocked out to Switzerland in the round of 16 on penalties but World Cup finalist twice in a row you got to give this nation respect let’s move on to group E with Belgium Romania Slovakia and Ukraine what is considered to be the weakest group of the tournament still will be filled of excitement you’ve got one favorite Belgium sure but Ukraine who qualified for the playoffs have been looking to be in incredible form along with Romania who finished their group undefeated in the Euro qualifiers and Slovakia played some very exciting football in theirs only failing to beat Portugal in their group and we’re also the only team to score against Portugal in their group now I do think Belgium will be the ones to top this group despite them fading away from their golden generation they have so many new Incredible players and the general public love to slam on this team as they seem to be a bit too high in the FIFA rankings given that they have never won anything but besides that there is no denying that the side are very capable of having a Deep Run in this tournament nor CIS will be a huge loss sure but they did just fine without him in the Euro qualifiers maybe did show some defensive mistakes and on paper their defense is not as strong as the Midfield in the attack but the Defenders that they do have to their disposal I still think can handle sides like Ukraine Romania Slovakia and the attack in Midfield will definitely shine one of the best midfielders in the world Kevin De bryo of course de Reviving his form ver and their most exciting youngster right now Jeremy doku the most electric player Lukaku despite his Club situations always bags in goals for the national team unless he plays against Croatia many more players are missing of course I think Belgium are still set to top this group maybe they will concede a bit more goals than we expect but I do think the attack has enough to just outshine in second place I’m not changing this either I am sticking with Ukraine this side were very solid in their Euro qualifier group despite falling short to England and Italy they shared points with Italy at the end and had an unfortunate penalty called not go their way in that final match against Italy lots of players have been on the rise this year as well including do and zonov on gona mudik despite his Chelsea blunders is still a phenomenal player for the national team sudakov is probably the most exciting youngster right now zenchenko has been a tad bit under whelling but he’s obviously going to be a massive component to this squad whether or not he is a consistent starter and they have two incredible goalkeepers to rely on luden and thuin great Defenders like mat vieno zarban Ukraine just have too many great names right now and they’re playing some very good football yes the Euro qualifier playoff matches were cut a bit narrow and I was expecting them to do a little bit better there but I do think they can revive their form only falling short to Belgium but being able to handle Romania and Slovakia for third and fourth place I think it’s going to be a tight Affair between Romania and Slovakia again both teams have really been depressing lately I think the one thing that Romania do have a little bit of an advantage over compared to Slovakia is their incredible defensive displays lately this side saw so many clean sheets and the fact that they were able to top their group over Switzerland is very impressive this side have backbone in the defense and the Midfield that’s their strongest asset I think sometimes they do lack a prolific goal score but this side 100% have what it takes to shut down Slovakia defensively and maybe being able to squeeze out a goal or two maybe they can do even better than what I’m predicting but I think they have what it Tak still to secure third place and Slovakia fourth so this group is not changing compared to my previous videos and unfortunately I’m sorry Romania you are going to be one of the cases of third Place teams that do not advance to The Knockouts and Slovakia also I don’t want to rule them out this group is definitely a mixed bag maybe I’m overhyping Ukraine a bit too much but I’m sticking with this order Slovakia got incredible players on paper as well especially in the defense for example but something that raises my eyebrows for this national team is their manager he’s been doing all right for Slovakia of course but Kona is playing real life FIFA career mode juggling both positions of the Slovakia national team and Napoli head coach a bit too much on his plate I think but maybe he can defy the odds and last but certainly not least group f with Portugal turkey Czech Republic and Georgia Georgia is our second debutant in this tournament turkeyy one of the most unpredictable national teams always going opposite of what many people expect Czech Republic have some very interesting and solid Euro history and Portugal on paper are the clear favorites in this group so it’s going to be a very exciting one and tough to call the only thing I feel confident in saying and even then who knows I’m putting Portugal at first place I think Roberto Martin definitely has what it takes to handle this group it’s not going to be a cakewalk like the Euro qualifiers for sure they got lucky with that draw don’t know how far this side will go in the tournament but they should be able to handle the group stage too many electric players in the attack like Rafael Lea Jo J Felix and of course he slowed down a bit but Cristiano Ronaldo is still scoring loads of goals for the national team my guess is they’ll have at least one match where they score loads of goals against one of these teams to me it’s one of the most complete Portugal sides we have been seeing in some time so I’m expecting a lot from them despite losing that recent friendly to Slovenia that halted their massive win streak they were just having so I think they will bounce back and learn from that mistake turkey situation is a bit interesting as they did appoint their most recent manager during the Euro qualifier campaign the Italian Montella Montella secured qualification for this side and did see them playing some exciting football but their most recent matches did not go to plan where they lost to Hungary but then again to Austria 61 like I mentioned earlier regardless there’s too many names to watch out for on this side Gago a very promising fullback on fernbach that knows how to press up well koku on Benfica Arthur goair one of the hottest prospects for the national team right now didn’t get too much playing time for Real Madrid this season but towards the end he was scoring so many goals that he broke a club record but he’s not the only young prospect on this team there’s also Kenan yeles their most successful player at the moment chal anglu does get criticized a bit by turkey for not pulling through at the same degree compared to what he does at Club level for Inter Milan so I do think this national team have a lot to tactically sort out especially es after that heavy defeat to Austria that should be a massive wakeup call for them and I think it’s also having a lot of people feeling doubtful for the Turkish national team but like I said this side is too unpredictable when people count them out they perform now Czech Republic is an interesting case as they only appointed Ivan Hasek at the beginning of the year so far we’ve only seen two friendlies from him and they were both 2-1 victories but they were both against sides that failed to qualify for this tournament still though aside with a lot of quality and not to mention Legacy in this competition there’s a stick out players like tual suek Patrick schik but also some underrated Ballers playing in the Czech League that could make an impact leverkusen’s keeper that started in the Europa League every match kovar definitely a solid option to have but yeah I said this in the last video Czech Republic’s Euro history is very interesting it’s always a Deep Run followed with the group stage exit and then that same pattern so if we’re continuing to follow that pattern they will be knocked out in the group stage of this tournament now we shouldn’t follow that specifically we’ve seen a lot of constant patterns for national teams be broken throughout the past few years the first that comes to mind is Mexico always getting knocked out on the round of 16 and in the last World Cup they got knocked out on the group stage but then the debutants Georgia they’ve had an interesting rise in the Nations League not too long ago topping their group in League c not many people took it too seriously since it wasn’t the most difficult looking group but still it’s when we saw the likes of kicha ateleia shine right before he joined Napoli they secured a spots to the playoffs due to that success in the playoffs they succeeded over Luxembourg which is a very underrated nation that got some decent results recently and then as many expected Greece to shine as Greece defeated Kazakhstan in the prior match 5- nil Georgia came out with a very solid defensive display keeping it nil nil and winning on penalties regardless of what happens to this side in the tournament they will be so happy to be here in the first place but they will be looking to make more history and they should be confident as this group of course not easy but definitely doable probably them along with Albania to be fair since their group is so difficult they are the most massive underdogs in this tournament since they’re making their debut but I’m starting to be more hopeful on this side potentially being able to write some great story here no discredit to any of these teams anything’s possible here but I’m going to say that pattern for Czech Republic continues where they finish fourth place Georgia get third and turkey gets second who knows the clutch Patrick can prove me wrong he was fantastic in the last yearo tournament as well and has made the difference for by lusin so many times in the attack this season along with that I do have Georgia advancing as one of the third place teams miraculously so like I said I’m going to go straight to the knockout bracket in this video and as you can see here are my round of 16 matchups I have on the telegraph website if you want to do this yourself I’ll leave a link in the description below of course but let’s start with the first round of 16 match up Germany versus Denmark I’m going to be going a bit more quicker with this compared to the group stage predictions by the way I’m sorry but I do think that Germany will be able to advance over Denmark like I said Denmark had been a bit too hesitant recently compared to their confident form in the last Euros Germany on the own home ground looking to build momentum especially judging over those last two friendlies I think they have what it takes to advance to the quarterfinals Hungary versus Spain now unfortunately I would love to be proven wrong here but I do think Spain can handle Hungary maybe it’ll be a narrow match but Spain will be the ones advancing to the quarterfinals Croatia versus Netherlands we’ve seen this match happen in the Nations League finals at least in the first round of the finals and Croatia were able to get a victory on their own home ground Netherlands obviously have been learning and implementing their tactics a bit more but I I still don’t think they’re confident enough I think Croatia can do the job here it would be a massive test for him of course and Croatia always seemed to fall short in that first hurdle of The Knockouts in the Euros I’m going to say they have what it takes to break that this time around and defeat Netherlands despite Netherlands having a fantastic Squad I don’t think they can roll out Croatia here England versus Georgia next would be something else now as we all know last time we saw deutan face England in the round of 16 was in EUR 2016 when England lost to imagine if we see similar scenes here unfortunately I love you Georgia but England are looking a lot stronger and more organized now Roy Hardon was not the right man for England unfortunately Harry Kane taking Corners that’s not going to happen again England are going through to the quarterfinals but best of luck to Georgia Portugal vs Italy will be one hell of a match the last two Euro Champions coming up against one another I think this is quite the flip of a coin anything can happen here but I am leaning towards Portugal for now Austria versus Ukraine next I think many people would not be watching this compared to the other fixtures we have set up here but this is an underrated matchup both of these sides I think definitely have what it takes to be the underdog of this tournament both have been in great form building momentum great individuality throughout very tough one and a flip of a coin to me for now though I do think Austria have what it takes to narrowly beat Ukraine maybe this match will go to penalties as well but I have Austria advancing to the quarterfinals now for Belgium versus Switzerland can Switzerland pull another another round of 16 shock in a fixture like this of course and this also could be a match where we see loads of goals being scored by both sides similar to how it was against France in 2021 but if I got to make a prediction here I am leaning towards Belgium and France versus Turkey would be incredible if we see turkey pull through here and France get knocked out in the round of 16 once again but it’s going to be France that advanced to the quarterfinals here are quarterfinal matches we’ve got Germany versus Croatia Portugal versus Austria Belgium versus France and England versus Spain Germany versus is Croatia at the end of the day so many croatians live in Germany so you can’t even say Germany necessarily have the home field advantage in this I want to be hopeful for Croatia here of course but this just looks like one of those matches that Germany narrowly squeezed through in I do think Germany will make semi-finals minimum in their own tournament so yeah I’m going to favor them to advance Portugal versus Austria now without a doubt a clear favorite Austria to me are going to be the proper Darkhorse in this tournament without a doubt and if they make it this far already that would be proof that’s too tough to say pardon me wants to go for the upset here but still Two Hearted doubt Portugal under Roberto Martinez he’s just proven to be one of those managers that should be most of the time beating sides that he does favor over on paper so I’m going to go for Portugal Belgium versus France can Belgium get Redemption after World Cup 2018 semi-finals I’m going to say no France are making it to the semis next up England versus Spain like I said England seem to struggle against those top 10 national teams but but out of all them I do see them being able to beat Spain just narrowly of course you know once the tournament rolls around in these matchups I doubt all of them will happen but the ones that do my opinion can change over time but for now I am favoring England to advance so these are my semi-finals Germany versus Portugal England versus France now Germany prior I did say we’re probably going to get semi-finalist Max and I could see anything happening here another flip of a coin match but I think Roberto Martinez will crumble in another semi-final of a major International tourn and then for France vs England a World Cup quarterfinal repeat I going to favor France once again this side do have the quality and tactics to defeat a Gareth Southgate England team so my final being Germany versus France can the host do it after having a disappointing 2023 I’m going to say no France win Euro 2024 is it what I want honestly no but these are my final predictions last time I said England would be the Champions I’m definitely starting to doubt that now I feel like they will crumble against the top team at some point and I’m saying it’s going to be France regardless I’m just hoping for an exciting tournament and I’m hoping the Balkan teams all prove me wrong for the ones I doubted but yeah here are my thoughts as always let me know
