Char congratulations it’s the race you’ve always wanted to win you’ve done it for yourself you’ve done it for your dad you’ve done it for Geor just tell me how you feel right now uh I feel extremely good um yeah it’s uh I think there’s a lot of things adding to uh to this weekend first of all it’s my home Grand Prix second I’ve had two opportunities in the past that I’ve lost which things that weren’t really in my control and uh that was extremely difficult to manage those very difficult moments and also you you you don’t really know whether you are going to get another opportunity to to win this race and it’s such a difficult race to win that uh you don’t know and uh I knew there was an opportunity opportunity this weekend and then last it’s my home race is the race that made me dream of becoming a Formula One driver one day it’s the race that I used to watch with my dad that has done absolutely everything for me to get to where I am today uh dream was to um raise ha in Monaco in in Formula 1 I wouldn’t have imagined when I was younger that I will race with Ferrari one day in Monaco and win this race and uh that was obviously the Ultimate Dream right before being world champion of course but the ultimate dream and uh the fact that I managed to do that I felt like I did not only accomplished my own dream but also the one of of my father the one of my mother as well that has sustain me in everything I have done since then and that has been an incredibly strong woman when when she uh when we all lost my my dad um my brothers uh that has that have always been so supportive with me my girlfriend all my family all my friends and the special thing about this race is that it’s such a small country that I’ve got everybody here uh and everybody was around the TRU and exit of turn one I had my best friends uh in the pits I had my family um and everywhere on the track I had friends uh and that makes it so incredibly special so it’s a very very special moment I did not expect the race to be so difficult to manage emotionally and uh and mentally wise I had so many thoughts uh of the people I have mentioned already in the last 10 laps that was very difficult to uh man because even though I knew the place was extremely good you have to stay on it on a track like this and uh it was very very difficult so was it just a bit of a release then in that moment when you cross the line then you embrace your mechanics and you still on the podium that you’d always wanted to stand on yes for sure uh yeah yeah it was uh definitely a very very special moment a moment I will never forget I will keep uh yeah inside me forever

    1. Charles, You definitely deserved this HOME WIN. What a great time to be a F1 fan. 2 Weeks ago… as a Team Ferrari and Charles Leclerc fan… Seeing Lando win in Miami, then now Charles at his hometown…. Thats just crazy and its all happening right beyond our eyes. Lots of firsts! And history books listed. We'll all look back at these days and remember.. No matter who your rooting for… we will all share a SMILE for these first time wins in these diff circumstances that made the world of F1 racing and people ONE for even just a MOMENT and beyond! Congratulations Charles!

    2. I rarely watch Formula One, but I saw this race and, man was I so happy with Charles Leclerc finally winning his home Grand Prix for the first time. And also seeing Piastri from McLaren taking second gave me flashbacks of my parents watching the glory of Ayrton Senna in Monaco. Let's hope making today's race memorable for years to come, maybe forever! 😍🏎️

    3. Leclerc is so happy, and im happy too! He deserves the win since 2022, he was the fastest. Congrats for the win Charles, and congrats for adopting Oscar 😉

    4. Very happy for Leclerc for his win in his homeland. After many loses in Monaco due to bad luck, to Ferrari's reliability and to Ferrari's "strategies", he really deserves this win

    5. So very happy for Charles and Ferrari and for Carlos. I've only been a F1 fan since 1979 and it is the drama from race to race that keeps me intrigued.
I bled red most of my life but my perspective was changed after we lost Ayrton and then Michael so I no longer have a favorite driver or team but Lando and Oscar are keeping me happy.
      Cheers

    6. 1st driver to win a home gp since max verstappen at Dutch gp, lewis hamilton at the British gp, jack brabham at the Australian gp, fernando alonso at the Spanish gp, alain prost at the French gp

    7. Historical home race combo Charles takes first home podium, it's his curse to break at best from 3rd home pole, first Monégasque to win the home tradition, finally he takes it all with his childhood dream now he can add his name to the Monaco winning list ❤️🏆🍾🤩🥳

    8. They talk so much about Charles Leclerc, what a supposedly phenomenal driver he is, but so far, in 7 seasons in Formula 1 he has done nothing more than win the same number of races that the average Ralf Schumacher won in his years in Formula 1: six .

    9. Monaco is boring 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

    10. As he’s describing how hard it was to drive while all the thoughts of his friends family and memories are rushing through him the last ten laps, he’s finally able to release all that emotion. Beautiful to see Charles win at home. ❤

    11. The fact that he didn’t burst out crying while citing all these deep feelings is impressive.
No shame in crying but I thought that he’d collapse when he wins in Monaco. A tear here and there and that’s it.
Shows how emotionally strong he is.
