welcome to T5 Adventures episode s home Pier Pont City ground cycling Nottingham so in this episode we planned a couple of nights visiting the highlight of the East Midlands which is Nottingham so our campsite is at home Pier Pont the National Water Sports Center and this is just up the uh River Trent from the world famous city ground and not counties ground which is very close just the other side of the Trent brace yourself just move into street view and this is the campsite home point it’s got a reception and a very nice little shop on the Friday night a pizza van poked itself in the car pot there on the left and we had two very nice pizzas from them the site is very flat with lots of trees it’s uh ideally located for the water sports center and for getting into Nottingham too the only plots available were ones with the camping pods so we took the plunge and booked ourselves a camping pod it’s the first time we’ve had one of these and we were really impressed not only did we have a bench but the actual pod um was pretty much a a very nice shed um it gave us the ability though to store all the stuff that we’ normally put in the on in this was a basic camping P pod so it’s pretty much just a shell you have to bring your own beds if you want to use it to sleep in but it did have lights and it also had electrical sockets so we were able to hook the van up and charge and it had blinds on the window so I imagine it’s quite comfortable to sleep in for us though the big attraction with with going to Nottingham is of course to visit the city ground home of Nottingham Forest we took some photos and recorded some videos of our cycling adventure and I was looking for some music to accompany our photos only one song sprung to mind and I reached out to an incredibly kind gentleman called Jimmy Brewer and he’s very kindly allowed me to use his music in this video so thank you Jimmy and please have a look in the notes that go with this video uh to to view Jimm’s original video on YouTube City ground oh Mist rolling in from the Trent my desire is always to be hereo S ground far have I travel and much have I seen good is sun and field of places I’ve been Main Road Old traford still echo the sound of the boys in the red from the city ground Cy CR oh Mist rolling in Fr the trend my desire is always to be here oh City [Music] ground s ground oh Mist rolling in from the Trent my desire is always to be hereo s ity ground [Music]
