Filmed in 4K, superb last day in the mountains, rode over to Switzerland (including some walking with the bikes) then found a mega red trail down from Avoriaz, then a red trail leading to some super steep off piste towards the village!

four last day another glorious sunny day in mauzin bike check mine’s all good i did have a squeaky brake lever now it’s all right i’ve got new pads in matrix pads they seem to be they squeak like mad but they seem to be doing the job so i’m happy with them absolutely fine so uh yep chains lubed up clean the shocks the rest of it don’t bother with pointless mondrake has been superb spot on santa cruz again spot on this santa cruz has had a few minor issues but oh you just like you [ __ ] too much then look you’ve over you’ve over [ __ ] he’s over just on his jockey wheel wipe the excess gears off there you go that’s it so jockey wheels are fine but the chain did come off once but that was nothing compared to uh what had been happening to it so it’s all fine now yes he’s done a few miles in santa cruz but it’s been been spot on spot on oh big man spike’s over there uh he’s still got no brakes oh dear and i’m using my water bottle as a fire extinguisher somehow the transition looks like it’s just come out the showroom look at it look how clean it is this has been brilliant this bike considering what we do on these i don’t know how they don’t fall apart pretty amazing really there’s a bike wash around there yesterday as you saw and he was ripping on that he was fine and he’s now hiring something else not downhill because they got any more downhill bikes to hire so biggs has gone with him to our bike uh they are going to get hopefully an enduro bike but he’ll probably come back with a cross-country bike about 100 mil travel suspension but we hope not right on the left last day there he is bigfoot how much do you drink last night i think you have about five beers about two bottles of wine yeah goodness gold though if i’d have drank that i’d actually be dead now i’d have died so i didn’t drink anything really but a big man can come handle it he’s got a bit of a funny tummy but he’s all right he’s fine uh yeah we’re all good everyone’s up ed’s got another bite trail bite up because we bloody uh yeah ready to ride because we don’t have enough water to extinguish his steaming crazy hot breaks so uh yeah we’ll see how we go today we’re off super marzin where else we going over to shuttle oh villager what the [ __ ] this goat village amazing it’s a villain for the goats so people live there and they just let goats run around the village i can’t believe that’s real yet anyway we’re gonna go and see some goats supposedly but yeah i uh look forward to that we might go back over there to leger which is at the top over there as in over that side we might do that this afternoon but depends how we get on over here this morning but there’s no lift here today it’s change over day saturday so we’re should be quiet chair lifts weren’t that bad before our bikes have been put upside down hanging by the wheel this time no they’re both upside down it’s not really secure to me but they know what they’re doing so uh yeah here we go [Music] cool we’re just saying notice my my back disc is black it’s not burnt i don’t know that’s good or bad my brakes are fine they’re working really well with those pads in but my my back disc is black oh well it’s as sharp as anything still so it’s working when i get back up to double it’ll sort out make sure everything’s fine but my bike i just don’t have a little chat about it on the live my bike’s been mega all right it goes down anything it’s not a downhill bike fair enough but it can go uphill too where the downhill bikes just don’t go uphill well at all they’re awful terrible so we do a bit of uphill stuff here as well i can lock the rear shock out as well that shock isn’t an expensive shot but it’s done the job i’ve used probably eighty percent of it and the front shock i’ve probably used 90 95 of it there’s a 190 mil shock that front shock i’ve used over 180 ml of that and i’ve got it set the right pressure everything’s set to the right rebound everything’s perfect but it’s just it’s pretty smooth actually so yeah i just spot on that’s big c big man what a view oh good i’ve never been anywhere walking when i’ve been out of breath holy [ __ ] man yeah you breathe our switzerland over to the left france to the right whoa daddy oh you flicked a rock up at me but on this side there’s switzerland over there see they go there i’ll go down the stream not anymore that’s too naughty down there come down the the van we’re leaving tomorrow about half past eight in the morning something like that uh so yeah we get cleaned up in the right state so uh what what amazing holiday with the guys my riding’s improved you know i’ve just i’ve learned berms yeah even though all that all the wet roots in there it’s been awesome anyway we’ll catch you in a minute we get back to the chalet biggs man we survived the holiday tell me about it i don’t know where the guys are probably in the big town or asleep or something but that was a we had such a great time and no one honestly really had a crash i can say it now because we’re we’re finished not cursing anyone we’ve made it around in one piece in one piece on the bikes so just taking bikes apart well bars off wheels off uh to whack in the uh in the van look at our boxes there so we’ll put our two bikes in the boxes now the guys will load theirs up when they get back but i never cleaned my bike the whole time the whole time we’re here i never cleaned my bike so it’s had some uh set some muck off on it gonna give it a little rinse for now and just look like that let the block off soak in because it’s so dirty i haven’t checked it for any dings and scratches but as i said none of us really had a problem with the bar apart from the brakes uh on some of the bikes everything was was for our rob’s jockey wheels on his bike your bike was fine man won’t it your brakes were apart from the brake forget the brakes we realized shroud brakes are sram ceramic or [ __ ] not mine though to be fair i’ve got sram guide res and they were fine i changed the pads which made them stronger but also made them noisier and that does annoy me when your brakes are squeaking down the trail so uh yeah trying to clean up save doing it at home the other guys bikes are they all in there yeah yeah santa cruz santa cruz transition the old capra is there capra is a bit damaged because the back break broke but yeah it’s holding a brilliant trip i’ll try and have a little chat to the guys later on the vid but we’re oh it’s just amazing thanks these guys for inviting me great bunch of guys to be with and uh yeah it’s just awesome on it yeah we love right now back to work uh don’t talk about that drive home first about nine hours to cali that muppet’s got three points and they wouldn’t insure him on the van they would they’ve got time no no 300 quid yeah i’m not paying i’m not being ripped off by anyone i’d rather just drive myself so i drive the van back it’s not a problem but the other guys are going to follow as well so uh yeah all in all brilliant trip hopefully they’ll invite me next year we shall see awesome right my bike’s clean and it looks like it survived everything looks fine but yeah superb superb so is yours man oh it’s
