[Applause] hello everybody I bought you somewhere special today I brought you to where the a47 the a149 the a17 or converge at Hardwick roundabout at Kings Lin this was built to relieve the stresses through the center of Kings ly due to the ever increasing holiday traffic because you to get to chroma Hanton sheringham norch from sleaford from spaling you have to come here so it’s another one of my places I used to come to as a kid on the uh Pine Arc so let’s have a ride around the island and then we’ll talk a bit more let we get to the other side segregated cycle route protected and in y keep right onto long cycle way there’s the uh offending roundabout buil is roundabout but with embankments put in place to make it into a bridge to fly over which happened um since I worked in Norwich so the embankment was always in place but the fly over had never never been put in place and this was built to alleviate the stresses of traffic going through kingslin uh it failed old it was let me stop and press the button it failed immediately from uh cuz it was always heavily congested so so so very busy always was I’m going to go there’s a song written about it take the next there’s a song written about the flyover uh it’s called the [Music] Hardwick it’s called the Hardwick roundabout would you believe I’ll try to put something in the description if possible it’s all white lines arrows and and uh people getting in the wrong lane continuously I’m not going the green man’s on it’s bloody dead here we go it’s deadly in a car in fact there’s the uh there’s the bridge and then it this way that’s the way you go to sheringham and chromer and that’s where you go on your holiday to yor and this is the way into the uh hard work industrial estate this parking here you can buy anything you want in the world on this industrial estate and I mean anything you want it is absolutely Pack full of retail supermarkets for food and everything else they have to sell cars hotels fishing chips beding Furniture Garden Center absolutely everything there’s boots there’s obob craft there’s all the sh head H there’s got to be parking here for thousand thousands of cars absolutely thousands of cars but the cycling infrastructure is brilliant you’ll ride a bit I won’t keep you on the video for long cuz I’m not riding one I’m not riding one handed so much now Y at the inter take a SHP ccle way just sheds after sheds after sheds so car dependent and uh lots of people smoking that stuff that smells of dog poo right I’m stopping I’m going to stop the video anyway because it’s not the best place so catch you again in a bit guys all the best
