right today do the eight bridges across the teas starting off down the old cycle way it was the old frit lineing through Stockon on teas see how it goes bit of a ride through the old uh stom and ground through Hardwick this brings back memories as a kid Martin’s old house 14 minutes and seconds recent here’s where we got chased by the Chinese take wheel owner there a machete in the old chip shop my all flat W shops out there he there’s done by Norton green give us withth said the Lord get un focused said me [Music] [Music] big and Spiel [Music] Road the old M coldre lived hope the all A9 before they built the new new one to the right of it baggy baggy bagy to them heading down to uh P track Lane a19 fly over which you can’t cycle over unfortunately orse it would be the nine Bridges and then uh onto Newport Bridge which is uh one of the oldest over the te’s far from probably yarm Victoria and I think uh the transporter was built 1911 1912 something like that so uh it’s I think the fourth of August you see the uh Columns of Newport Bridge in the fourth and that’s where we’re headed the first Bridge of this ride over the uh rties here we go Newport Bridge PRI and painted it maybe six seven years ago 3 months job took nearly 12 months left my ass off used to be a lift bridge for vessels uh but they stopped that in the ’90s after the barage was built no more vessels going uh Upstream from Newport so that was that done deal built by the same company as the Sydney Harbor Bridge windy down the team some coming out on and that was Newport Bridge now off to the barrage which is the next crossing the barrage built in 1990 at the time the biggest civil engineering job in Europe I believe re-rooting the river while the built it keep the te’s an eye tide the other side a bit and it’s our second crossing of the day SE coffee don’t fany of coffee I’ll need a afterwards just taking a Time leg Yeah I’m getting that Weir myself that woman you’re the sing of look to the millennium which is the only uh only foot Bridge of the route [Music] St and here we go over the bridge and then along Stockton Town Center Riverside and head towards Victoria Bridge can’t with a ping po yep yep yep yep what Little cassle J knocked down 1970s monstrosity no didn’t think you’d get access to this one all right off yeah SL up seconds there we go V bridge building 1881 there the old bridge that are here [Music] yeah here we got to uh a 66 I wonder if this is actually C’s Bridge or C is the real Bridge the other side of it but when they redeveloped that we actually found a foundation from the original stock at Darlington Railway back in s 1825 overcapped it with a new P pile foundation and uh and used it great bit of recycling uh good friend that hbpw was involved in that uh so shout out to them some good engineering well just spotted a Gregs that was open so sned in and uh acquired myself a COR beef uh corn beef slice or pasture whatever the hell they want to call them big up the DRS I’ll eat that later there we come to Queen Elizabeth thei Bridge which I think is uh aesthetically ugly but it’s a road bridge and that’s that one done so only uh only Yar bridge I think to do now let’s turn it ni ride this put somebody it up oops you can me [Music] out now Stockton for all its faults does have a fairly good network of cycle routes more put in soon uh they’re planned I think some of the hs2 funding is being diverted so that’ll be good stop wh inle be is fairly good for it uh spread out all over the place uh but then you come off at the top a high leave it’s not a great Ro in the arm to be honest with you uh considering the money that the loc authorities just been 20 million quid War need to do better also it fill all poth holes in as well Jesus Christ Tor te tires up the other week in darer good job it’s a company car and it doesn’t cost me anything I it R 500 freaking quid sort the out you very much Che now how’s your V12 do it now [Music] HLA [Music] hour 35 minutes and 13 seconds listen to me spe is 22.6 count is go yeah time across the bridge and decide which way to go right
