Sportster Chepstow to Fethiye Day one Day one , Chepstow to Saint Quentin, France

We are finally doing this trip. Our adventure last year went horribly wrong when our bike broke down at the English side of he Channel Tunnel. Now our adventure is going ahead again…. in trepidation we have started the journey again a year later!
We are riding two up on our Sportster 883, a ‘baby’ Harley! We are travelling light and have no set time limit. We will not be using any major roads or toll roads except for this initial day to get us to the Channel tunnel.
In this video we actually make it to France so a step further than last time….

Today we ride 350 miles to get to our first destination, saint Quentin, France. We are feeling the cold despite layers of clothes but we enjoy the journey non the less.
We book our hotel ‘HOTEL SAINT QUENTIN’ enroute and this will be our tactic each day , The hotel cost £58 pounds with breakfast.
We arrived at Saint Quentin at 8pm and we had set off in the UK at 8am so it was a long first day, we were tired but excited to have the first day under our belt and looking forward to the days to come!
