Our journey in our Elddis Accordo 125 Motorhome continues up the west coast of Portugal. From Sargres on the tip of Portugal we travel up the stunning west coast to a campsite at Zambujeira do Mar. We camp for a few days here and spend time cycling and walking. On leaving here we head to Comporta in the south of the Troia Pensula for a night. We then take a ferry from here to a lovely town called Setubal. Onward and upward from there to an aire in the south of Lisbon from where we explore the beautiful city of Lisbon.
hi folks next bit of the journey takes us from zagas in the bottom left of Portugal up the West Coast towards Lisbon uh we passed through the beautiful Atlanta Jano National Park and we’re going to end up at a campsite at zambo domar keep watching to see what we get up to [Music] has been our site for the last couple of nights zambo jera doar uh which is a little Seaside place up the west coast of Portugal um all split up into these little sections with four or five bands in them quite a few noisy dogs here but a nice sight all the same uh 600 on odd pitches uh toilet blocks everywhere that’s our toilet block there and then just a little bit down the road it’s early morning so everyone’s uh clearing out and there’s another toilet block there and then looking up the road uh you’ll see that’s reception up there and uh the exit so as I say we’re going this morning and we’re moving onto a place called compor uh further up the West Coast just out for a bik ride and it’s diverted as along a cycle path through um this sort of hedging and it’s still quite wet because we’ve had some rain in the last few days lots of long straight roads in Portugal up the West Coast wonder if there was Roman influence down here but it’s great hardly any traffic on them great for cycling ah we’re just about to turn left now and uh not quite sure where we’re going but we’ll see when we get there this is faral b s couple of mohos come past so must be parking along here [Music] this place is called Villa del Miller Fontes on uh the west coast of Portugal it’s quite a popular area looks very sort of trendy with backers uh walking around the Village um found this nice car park uh just for daytime parking uh some lovely views to the back there and there’s some walks over onto the sand Junes so we’re going go and have a look at them um I’ll show you a view of the uh of the M Town which is over there I’ve just heard a tap on the window so I think me uh me breakfast is ready so I better go using our own but uh people have said it’s quite nice and they keep it clean uh which is lovely because there’s no charge for it um you know I know it’s a smallish Village and we are spending money here but I think personally they should have an honesty box uh just a quick scan round lots of Vans stayed here last night uh it is just a car part but it’s functional to get around to what you need to do you’ll see it’s a little bit water logged as well cuz there’s been a couple of days of heavy rain as we explained earlier [Music] hey I heard you want to leave this place where we grew up this old time just put it all behind remember you and I would always find somewhere to hide when we were kids so we could see and hear the water run the river’s going to cry when you’re [Music] going where
