Colorado is easily one of the best locations on the planet for mountain biking. That may be coming from the mouth of a Colorado native, but it takes some really good riding to convince even more people to come check out and fill up your local trails. To truly experience and show everybody how good Colorado really is, we took a five-stop trip through the best riding the state has to offer. From north to south, and east to west, our path was Winter Park, to Steamboat Springs, to Aspen/Snowmass, to Carbondale and finally Durango.

    1. Amazing stuff! Are there any mtb tour operators in Colorado that would hitup all these spots in one trip? It'd be worth travelling all the way from Australia for for sure!

    2. Spent a week riding the Golden, CO area. It was amazing. Was told by the locals that there are even better spots in Colorado. Can't imagine how good those spots must be 🙂 Definitely coming back for more some day.

    3. How did you get permission to fly a drone in all those National Forest lands? Great footage, it looks epic, but also a very high production value (big team) cable cam, steady cam, drone, shot on a red camera?

    4. I’m visiting Colorado in early September for 2 weeks & want to commit to 2/3 places. I’m after some smooth free ride trails with berms & small jumps. I notice some of the parks are only open at weekends in September…I will only be around for 1 weekend during this time so could head there. (I notice Trestle is still open midweek) any advice would be appreciated…really looking forward to the trip now.
