Even though i live by the ring road i would not do this route. Clean air zone has pushed the traffic out of the city centre to these area. Do find it fascinating though, seeing very familiar areas of birmingham on youtube!
Part of that route used to be my cycle commute back in the 80s. Pershore Road to Hockley Flyover. Hair raising then and still hair raising I see. Excellent road positioning btw 👍🏼

Brave man! Just shows how hostile the ring road is for anyone other than drivers – and it's not even nice for drivers!
There were many close passes but the one at 3:34 is definitely enough to submit to Nextbase (if the footage isn't too old).
