    ✰ About Me ✰
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about disability, neurodiversity and what its like living with Tourette’s Syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Orthostatic Hypotension. Tourette’s syndrome is a neurological condition causing involuntary movements called tics.
I use my social media (TikTok, YouTube and Instagram) to advocate and raise awareness for my conditions and show what it is like living with a disability as a neurodivergent person. I am also autistic and share my sensory struggles along with my experiences with mental health disorders.
I show what its like having a disability and the accommodations I have to help my daily life. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user showing my life using mobility aids and how chronic illness symptoms change from day to day!
I am also a musician with a popular song called “She’s Mine” available on all streaming services – I wrote, produced, mixed and mastered all my songs myself! I am also an artist and a writer. I love reading and I’m currently writing a novel and a book about my life!

come to Manchester with me for a disability Meetup this was the first time that I was meeting other people in wheelchairs even though I’ve been a wheelchair user for 3 years so I was actually really nervous I got the tram with my friend Daniel he came with me and honestly apart from a few issues we had later on it’s really accessible it’s all step free and pretty level so you just wheel on and it’s that easy when we got there there were so many wheelchair users and people using Mobility AIDS it just felt really nice to be around other people who understood after introducing ourselves and meeting every everybody we did some mapping this isn’t sponsored but sociability are an app a little bit like Google Maps but for disabled people and it shows the accessibility in different venues around the country we took some photos and inputed information just to help map more places I’ve just started trying to get out more and so I went to I went to the queer comedy night the other night and it was so good and then we just kind of explored and it was so nice just getting around the city although I can say my arms definitely hurt after this

    1. Hello Zara, thanks for all the work you do to communicate about your disabilities and mapping places too.
If I were in you area and country, I would have loved to meet you and go around as I m also an ambulatory wheelchair user and crutches user as well as normal on some days. I m just older 😅… and due to side effect of meds i took a while ago, I stutter when I get stressed or tired.
I like a lot seeing your enthusiasm about going out and meeting people. I hope you never lose this joy and appetite for life.
Best wishes from French countryside. 😊

    2. I bet that app is amazing. I found AccessAble when I was overthinking a hospital appointment. I'm not sure it was even aimed at someone with anxiety but it helped so much being able to see where I'm going before I actually go.

    3. I was thinking about how draining it must be for your arms to wheel yourself around like this? I'm always impressed by manual wheelchair users stamina. I get that you work it up over time, but still.

I myself has fibromyalgia and HSD, which are both just slowly getting worse and causing more issues. So I've recently actually been thinking about mobility aids and such, even though I might not need it often enough yet to warrant buying one. But my biggest concern is the arm thing..
So is it generally speaking very tiresome for the arms, or is it easier than you might think?
Because my mind goes to maybe getting an electronic one, but it feels like that would be way more expensive?

I'm not seriously considering it yet, so I haven't talked to my physio about it yet. But I feel like people that actually are wheelchair users themselves might have better answers to these questions in particular 🙈

    4. That person in what looks like a manual chair but is operating like it has a motor with a third front wheel with like a bike handle, does anyone know if that's an attachment? I have a manual chair but my shoulders and elbows are too bad to be able to push myself now so it's for mainly getting around my main floor when I need it. I have a motorized mobility scooter but no attachment for my car to get it anywhere so it's for when I want to go on a walk in the neighborhood but I'm too scared to go too far from the house in case it dies or breaks down. 😂 I need to get out of this house at least once every few months! But in the least expensive way possible! Any information would be greatly appreciated!
