Motorcycle Trip around Europe – 2022

[Music] [Applause] [Music] another day another trip another adventure 20th of may everything is prepared luggage is set 15 kilograms i have the tents i have everything i need and i am on my way to portugal how long hard to say whatever it takes it is still seven o’clock in the morning and i plan to have today something like four maybe maximum five hundred kilometers depends on that how i feel and then i will find a place to sleep somewhere around compression and tomorrow i’ll continue my trip to north macedonia let me tell you something really interesting every time when i start my new trip i have some doubts is it the right moment am i ready do i have to do it now but all of this is just going after day or two and then i start to enjoy the journey but every time it’s exactly the same uh the first 100 kilometers won’t be so interesting now i’m gonna cross varna then i’m gonna have like 70 kilometers highway but after that the roads will be more interesting and the real fun will start so now it’s just a matter of time to get there i moved away from the main road and took this one which goes through the villages again through save level and troyan but much more pleasant right over there was too busy too many trucks too noisy some construction works are going there will be a new road here very well this is now save level coverage okay so i need triangle so is around 50 kilometers going over the mountain and direction south and it might be not in good condition now after the winter but anyway i’m gonna i’m gonna have it and we will see what it is nicer this is the top of the metal path and this exactly is the arch of freedom the elevation here is 1500 meters let’s go down now [Music] i just stopped here to get the coffee and i decided to book a guest house in kobrikshita which is uh 25 kilometers away from from here so today i’ve got like 400 kilometers and i’m not gonna ride anymore tomorrow i’ll i’m gonna have again like 400 kilometers to stream it’s a north macadamia so the plan is to ride just for pleasure not to push and rush myself to ride many kilometers if i have to i will but for now i’ll try to keep this schedule this is now the main road [Music] choose sofia and burgas burgas is behind me sophie in this direction and already on the right hand side you can see this is tara planina this one i just came from north to south and i’m going to use this road now to go to private [Music] actually i went around it this is bastion nostra okay let’s check it it is half past free and i already got a room today i’ve done like 450 kilometers the price that i have paid here through booking.com was something like 20 euros and two years ago i was here in capricious in another guest house and we talked a lot with the owner and we became friends but his guesthouse was busy so i booked this in last moment and have a look now wonderful decoration big bed king size enough room to drop my stuff fridge shower and it is on one of the main streets what i’m gonna do now is just relax for half an hour and then walk around to private even that i’ve been here before it is always a pleasure for me to just to look around i’m gonna make some pictures and later in the evening i’ll go to meet my friend with the guest house and i’m going to have a dinner there so no more videos for today i will continue tomorrow [Music] good morning this is the guesthouse that i slept and it’s around 7 30 i slept a little bit longer i have no idea why packed everything and i’m ready to go this looks sunny but the temperature is like uh three degrees at the moment let me check now [Music] three degrees so it will be cold and refreshing morning but it doesn’t matter to have an idea yesterday was 25 now it’s free that big difference is because here i haven’t checked what is the elevation here but it is what it is was nice now i’m gonna ride south i’m gonna fill the tank somewhere on the road i’m gonna make breakfast on the road because it’s too early now i can feel the cold a bit well that’s fine now i’m riding south direction panagiris and a few more interesting places but yes you can see the sun is on the left east this is south this is west behind me is the north i don’t need the gps for now maybe later but for now i’m fine beautiful landscapes isn’t it green everywhere horses hills yes nice moment and place to ride the motorcycle it is more than 20 minutes downhill on these turns and the temperature rolls to 13 degrees it’s getting better and better and better this was a wonderful stretch here so the way to cooperation and the way out of coprice is fantastic this is now panagirishti and i can see here left passer jig exactly what i need 43 kilometers i have enough petrol so i’m going to fill the petrol in posherjic also got uh old bulgarian style parts like briefchuta but it’s not that impressive the whole cuprischiza is like a big museum but i give this chest and as you can see it’s a different story best so this is nice spot isn’t it [Music] still a lot of sun on the corners like this patch here and it is easy to slide see after the winter so i’m gonna do it slowly see it here [Music] ah man this is nice oh there is the spot [Music] this is wonderful spot [Music] okay i’m gonna make a break here [Music] drink coffee maybe eat something and then i’ll continue this will be my lunch this is a fresh throat uh from here from the lake baked on plate and chips this is more like a snack not like a real lunch but the important part is the location this is the spot down god said your chief straight on 50 kilometers this is my direction back into the twisty roads and wonderful landscapes [Music] [Music] you never know who is going to take your right away or cut the corner so safety first exactly 10 minutes they were quick and professional few questions where i’m going and that’s it so i’m in machiadonia so now 30 kilometers to strum it for some people and for politicians there is a big difference between macedonians and bulgarians but in fact at least for me we’re the same people even the language is more or less the same the house the landscapes everything so i know what i will see here also i have been here before so macedonia is not something that will be new for me or surprise me in any case but i plan to ride some beautiful roads meet some nice people still 30 degrees it’s a very good preparation for what is coming ahead on every post there is a stork on every post this is trumitza the gps said that i’ll be on the others after two minutes looks like a big town i never been here before [Music] all right it became obvious that i am in strumitza and the hotel that i stayed it’s over there so this is the city park of strumitsa very beautiful park by the way full with people i cannot find the empty space to record this video there are so many people kids everywhere around but anyway the story that i’m about to tell you is that when i was in bulgaria a macedonian guy contacted me asked me to make some rules for him and his group to right around turkey so i did it and when he asked me when i’m going to the trip i said when and he said why don’t you come to storms i said okay i will come and i came today just to be surprised and see that this group this uh bmw moto club stromitza are actually wonderful guys they are nine bikes all together brand new the same color the same size the same gear the same helmet everything they’re like like coming from uh from the bmw magazine absolutely fantastic guys they booked a hotel for me they organized everything for me tomorrow we’re gonna spend another day here in the area we’ll go to see some monastery and stuff like that absolutely wonderful people and the connection that i have made came from nowhere this is the area behind the hotel and this is actually the hotel and this is where my bike is parked wonderful isn’t it it is four stars hotel i feel myself like a super vip person this is the hotel room that these guys from organize it for me i’m really impressed don’t mind the mess that i have created but the room is excellent the hotel is at least four stars and it is on the top of the city center of stromitza motorcycle community is so powerful and every time when you got the chance to find or to meet new people just do it that’s everything that i want to say for today uh later in the evening of course we’re gonna eat drink out and tomorrow i’ll have more fun so far so good [Applause] [Music] you
