i’m beginning to cycle for exercise on a commuter/road bike. Won’t be on wooded trails at all. My head is 23 1/8 inches which falls on both medium and large scales 😭. My LBS doesn’t carry these brands but I’m going to a larger one in a neighboring county today at lunch to see if they carry more brands.
I prefer to look cool while staying safe so i’d like a helmet that isn’t a mushroom and could hold glasses.

You can only choose a helmet by wearing it to check if it makes you look like a mushroom head or not.
Go try them, they all fit a bit differently.
That Loma looks cool, but the Propero has been a good helmet, and a bargain at that price.
seriously, try them on. i purchased a stylish/expensive/well reviewed helmet and regret it. do not underestimate the importance of fit.
Spec
Propero kept me from being a veggie. It gets my vote.
TRY.
THEM.
ON.
Align 2 is heavy. My neck aches went away immediately after switching up to a Kask Rapido, which is an affordable option as well.
As a driver and as someone who spends way too much time road cycling, I would encourage you to get a white or otherwise higher-visibility helmet. I think it’s pretty effective at catching the eye of a driver. I notice cyclists in white helmets quicker when driving.
