it’s extraordinary the spirit he has you have to say that right the character he shown All Season yeah you do admire him like he seems really upbeat there said it’s a big win but again you’re not gaged at man united when you beat Newcastle at home it’s about competing into big games and again you’re not going to win every week or win win championships every year but you hope that you’re up there competing and man united have been nowhere near it but he is trying to be positive and I like that he’s talking about the young players but you got to get the mix right the experienced players haven’t done enough there’s been too too many injuries and I do appreciate is coming from defensively the injuries have been yeah has been huge been a huge set back but overall you still put all you still digest all that but still you look at it the record amount of games they’ve lost the goals they’ve conceded the lack of goals they’ve scored um the position in the league the minus was it minus three goals minus two or three go all these things are not good to look at but you hope he’s given her a chance in the in the summer and what didn’t need to do is again we go back to it that recruitment they have to go and buy some we were talking here maybe four five world class players a couple of Center halves a couple of Strikers someone in Midfield you know it’s it’s a long way back this before we come to the shopping list it seems every day let’s have a look then at the current Squad and talk about which players of this group are there to be relied upon I mean he he started the list for us with the the young players he mentioned you can see on asteris those who are out of contract but that helps doesn’t it helps a few there’s a few players already the contract who you building round Wayne you have to build it around Bruno I think you have to build the team around but know he’s the one player with with quality he he has got fight in him I think the young players and then I think all the other players get rid of them sorry I think you keep the young players you keep Bruno and I think it has to be a massive clear out it has to be right it’s not going to be in one one year but I think it’s going to over the next couple of years let’s just go through it block by block then so are you keeping the goalkeeper Anana good enough for United I think he’s got better I think he has a shaky start at the season but I think he has got better Defenders um LeAndre Martinez Luke Shaw Harry McGuire no for me D’s done well um Harry McGuire are in now season and but to compete they need they need better they need better players and to compete at this league um and don’t get me wrong these players are good players and good you know Premier League players but to compete with Man City with Liverpool with Arsenal they need better players what about in the forwards Marcus rashford well we all know Marcus has got the the ability the capabilities to to play at the top level and we haven’t seen I just wonder is it time for Marcus for himself to go and play elsewhere I don’t know I think he has to ask himself that question and I I want him to stay I want him to you know break records at this club and but he needs to get his head right and and get his head down work hard and and get back to the player we know we can be right does anyone disagree with what Wayne said there keep the young players keep Bruno and pretty much United has always been built around the young players you know coming through the academy and if they continue to do what they’re doing they should be playing it’s as simple as that you know uh trans transition we’ve been in transition for a very very long time you know and at some stage we’re going to have to stop using that word transition because we can’t be transitioning for 10 years you know but he finished T last year yeah and the e in the league so the transitions going backwards yeah and we talk about moving players on but it be hard to move a lot of them players on it’s okay obviously L you wrot a contract but there players here on huge money and some of them won’t be going anywhere they won’t be budging unless they get proper obviously um paid off so that’s we talk about recruitment but getting rid of players and a lot of the players have been given a lot of opportunities and it’s also worry that these players are constantly injured if if you’re constantly injured you’re no good to anybody okay you can listen every Club will have his few injuries but there certain players in that group there you’re going they’re always injured you can’t rely on these players to to to turn up week and we up player for Man United like martial for instance I play with him he’s a very nice guy and where’s he been I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen him play like what’s up with him what’s at least at least his contracts up isn’t it so no no it is at least that’s a that’s a plus you go listen off you go but again it won’t be easy and it’s as well and good us sitting around here going he needs to go out again but it’s the reality is it’s going to be really really tough Patrick asked a question didn’t he to to Eric tenh about if you’re here does that have to be a question right now is that a doubt Wayne I think of course that’s a question for the the owners who are at the club now and um will will the question in their mind be can somebody else get more out of this group of players yeah I’m sure it will and they’ll looking transition quicker they’ll be looking how the how they’re going to build how they’re going to rebuild ultimately the mess the clubs in at the minute um on the pitch off the pitch and who’s the man to to move the club forward is that Eric T Haag or is it someone else coming in and I do feel sorry for the manager at the minute because as as we’ve seen the problems he’s got and but I’m sure these new owners are doing all the homework to to see if there’s anyone else to come in or whether they keep at yeah for me personally the Gap won’t be closed within the next couple of years you know it’s that simple you got you got to be very honest if you look at the gap between Manchester United now and Manchester City that tells you everything you got to close that Gap so there’s no way you’re going to close that Gap within 2 years and then Manchester City they’re going to come close to Manchester United because they’re going to look to kick on again next season you know so that’s going to take time I mean that’s that’s a building process that could be four five years will you look at Man City when their new owners come in took them 15 years to win the Champions League yeah that’s potentially what she might be looking like you hope not but could happen a lot quicker get way is director of football swing the ax

    1. and to think man u used to have players of such caliber, like these gentlemen here.
none of the man u players now come even close to what these 3 used to be, NONE.
man u is a middle table club, sort of like everton under moyes – they could threaten the top four, or ruin your day, but that is all they were

    2. United fans should come to terms with the Onana situation. The guy is just nowhere close to De Gea's level. He has conceded more and I still don't get it how being good with his feet has helped or improved a united side

    3. If they let Ten Hag go then they will be going back to square one and will have to start all over again. Let Ten Hag finish what he's started and allow him to clean shop and bring in some world class players to strengthen the squad.

    4. This shopping list has been spoken about for years.
No top class player wants to play with a no trophy, middle to bottom of the table side.
Lot of the current players are there for the wages. Injury is what they want, full pay for being on the side line.
The current players as a group are not championship side.

    5. But they bought players for a lot of money and it didn't work out. Now you want to sell players like Varane, Rashford or Casemiro because they didn't perform. However, how should they perform well when the environment of the club isn't good and supportive for the players.

    6. A spell in the Championship would possibly do United good. That's the level they're at at the moment. Maguire would fit in grand playing the likes of Millwall.

    7. Keep :
      GK – Both
DEF – Dalot, Willy K, Lindelof, Malacia, AWB
MID – Bruno, K Mainoo, Scott MacT, Pellistri
FOR – Amad, Garnacho, Højlund, Sancho, Forson, Rashford. Wheatley.

    8. Man Utd players won't leave until their contract because they are on massive wages, Man Utd needs to cap their wages, a max of £200-£250k, rather than £300k+ per week, nobody will buy players at that price, especially from Man Utd, as most of them are CRAP.

    9. Scary part is the blame being put on ETH, I can see this being another massive stumbling block in getting united back to the top of ETH is told to go after tonight's game.

The fact United legends sit there and are being paid by media to lie through their teeth and not speak up with facts, which Is that ETH did more in 1 season than any other manager. That was only halted by injuries, the most in the league in fact and we've not had the starting 11 all season, but lies and false media sell stories and these legends are in on it to earn a few bucks which is disgraceful.

    10. Andy Cole: Manchester United has always been built around the young players coming through the academy.

      – No it hasn’t.

Before Mainoo who was the last top top player to come through the academy?

Rashford? 7/8 years ago? Who’s now struggling week to week?

Scott McTominay came through, but he’s not at the level Man United need.

Before that you’d have to go back almost to the class of 92.

Garnacho was bought for best part of 20m, Sancho was at BD and City first. Ethan, Amad and Hannibal barely play.

95% of the first team squad were transferred in, and most of them are worth less than what was paid for them.

The panel are right though, Man United need to clean house.

Once a constant title contender, one of the giants of the game is now settling for winning the odd domestic cup instead of chasing league titles, doubles and triples.
