    1. I have been watching pro cycling for 20 years. I have seen Armstrong*, Ulrich*, Contador*, Schleck, Evans, Froome, Nibali all come and go.

Pogacar trumps them all. The guy is a freak and love every second of it. I never saw Merckx racing, way too young, but I like to imagine we are witnessing what is perhaps the best rider of all time. Would anyone be surprised if by the end of his career he has won all the monuments, all 3 grand tours multiple times and a few World Championships? I wouldn’t be.

    2. I love his super-chilled attitude. He’s speaking of TdF as if it’s his local cycling club race! Oh, if I get to the Tour with my current legs, it’ll be fine! That’s what makes Pogi unique! ❤

    3. I really feel 2024 Tour is T Pogacar's to win. UAE certainly seems to not only back him 100%, I get the sense they trust his savvy, well honed inner cyclist sense. The 2023 distressing wrist injury is in the past. Mind you, a lot of contenders were not in the Italian Giro including the (maybe) J Vingegaard.

    4. Tadej has matured over the last year. He's more patient, refusing to waste energy chasing after measly bonus seconds mid-course and instead saving his best performances for when and where they can do the most damage to his rivals.

He's traded his explosive, out-of-the-saddle bursts of energy for a high-cadence aerodynamic climbing position similar to Froome, allowing him to maintain his power production for much longer. Physically, he is lighter than in previous years.

His team is also much stronger than it has been in the past (look no further than his final stage victory, when five of his teammates were pulling for him starting the final climb). More work from his team means less work for him; he no longer needs to attack solo to crack his opponents, Majka can do that all by himself.

    5. I wish stink guard would ride as hard as pogi in these back to back tours ! Stinkguard will never pace always sucking wheels , pogi will open for him and he literally says no
