On THEMOVE Giro recap show the team discusses the likelihood of Jonas Vingegaard being ready for the Tour de France just 5 weeks away.
how can vingard be a match for pachar during the tour to France and if not him anybody else it we have five weeks okay guys I mean we all know this I mean five weeks is nothing that’s gonna you’re gonna we’re going to all be together talking about this and it’s going to feel like yesterday um so if you’re if you’re saying we now know he is on his bike again I sure the hell hope so he’s on his bike cuz what we just saw from pogar who who beat every Body by 10 minutes with one leg I’d be on my bike but it’s only five weeks I’m I think one of the most interesting storylines is just how he is right are we gonna get to see him that’s that’s a yeah that’s a question a s nothing okay so we are just G I’m super curious like nothing surprises me in cycling anymore and than the way these guys can prepare

Jonas is amazing, destroyed Pogi in TT last Tour. Crazy to count him out w all his A riders back. I just wouldn’t doubt him.
I broke 9 left ribs and had a pneumothorax and hemothorax 5 days after vingegaard… I'.m recovering.. And train on my bike… I love Vingegaard and believe he would win without the accident… But There is no way that in 5 weeks he is ready to go against Pogacar
vinny just neeeeeds the right blood
You can’t even ventilate properly with fractured ribs. He will be feeling rib pain for at least 3 weeks after fracture. His collarbone fracture will be stable. Yes he can get on a bike but how effectively can re regain condition. The human species physiologically detrains so rapidly it’s depressing. Race horses and canine athletes maintain conditioning far longer than humans. Lance is right there are medical things (legal) that can be done like regional anesthetic injections around his fractures to allow him to train earlier but it’s still a race. I don’t know if Vingegaard or Evenpoel or even Roglic who may have injured a knee will be ready in time. What are the odds of 3 of the 4 top GC riders in the world being taken out in one crash?
Give them equal dosage.😅
i really hope he's back 100% with the way pogi is riding they will have an awesome battle
He will have the best doctors in the world, he will regain fitness very quickly provided all his injuries heal properly. I think he will start but maybe he will fade in week 3 like pog did last year.
If Vingegaard is 100% he wins, its not like pog was better in the Giro than he has been when facing vinge. He simply had easy competition.
