hello everybody it’s the historical gamer once again and today we are returning to warno this is my first look at the co-op gam playay I streamed to this last night in sort of a chill live stream on my twitch Channel with Tortuga and Finnish Jagger uh my trusty co-host on the single malt strategy podcast and yeah I’ve been playing a lot of warno lately I’ve been enjoying it this is just a really chill sort of a chat back and forth as we play this game um so a little bit different not talking a ton about what I’m doing relaxing ofno or a couple of matches ofno here felt that felt like I would share it with you guys in you miss the stream uh we’ll probably return to some more of the uh battle tomorrow the actual um the the Army General mode but this is just pick up and play online co-op versus the AI hope you guys enjoy I’m playing with a British deck throughout this uh because I like playing with non-american stuff everybody plays with American stuff figured I’d play with some British stuff here uh but yeah Conquest mode with Tortuga finish in myself why don’t we get started T so I can just stream sniper could you imagine if you could do a coup and just like turn the you know switch sides mid battle I think it probably would make the probably be pretty poor mechanically hey just said could you imagine we could I mean yes [Music] those units are not exercising proper spacing discipline oh God wish I could find out what song is playing so I can just get this Exact Track and play it non-stop there’s one that I like more than all the others you’re really obsessed with the music in this game Tortuga [Music] those Russian those units look like the Russian army in real life nice hey mad wolf welcome to the to the channel my pleasure sir Hey look it’s an M24 ow we got helicopter good job Gunner do you have to leave a unit permanently there thought you could just C capture it and keep going I can move a unit in if if you want um okay let me just see if I can just figure out what’s my oh now we have it now we have it I don’t know why you saw it fade away though right I did yeah it’s fine now okayy position any ORD sir oh God tanks probably should have expected that but I didn’t pretty cool that they have shinook Supply yeah come on sir what’s this my what AM my um oh we got a battle going on I’ve never seen this icon my uh recon units have like this a signal like a signal strength icon next to it that was kind of unique oh maybe there like have a signal with the AA unit what cuz the AA unit looks like it has a a radio communication signal huh have some tanks moving up to assist toward you again all right I just want to get this stupid tank that has like one hit point left I’ll probably lose everybody trying to kill it it always comes down to the Infantry man and his rifle the [ __ ] did you shoot that Milan for just shot it into the ground waiting for instruction you dingdong he died damn it he had five shots he missed all of them you know what I’m sorry you deserve extra sir I have nothing else fun for this afternoon beware enemy nearby oh all right TG we got armored columns moving down this left Road of your point oh [ __ ] they’re moving past me on the left okay yeah I don’t have any uh unit over there to assist enemy Spott just yet well I got my Recon Hilo we’re Weist shoot that damn helicopter down hey he down make in the air finish all right I’m on it oh nice good work got it one Les enemy get the plane out of here yeah good all right I don’t have any aircraft in the air all right I do have a Rapier in the vicinity but at your orders the Mig set to AA so it’s a bigger threat for our air than it is for ground stuff yeah I don’t think they can even attack Ground St one eny I’ve got some artillery M pulling in a little bit to the rear I think I’m going to set it to counter battery unless you guys want me to set it to fire will ready to fire [Music] [Music] oh t72 M1 first I thought of those for instruction almost in range with my uh Panzer F so got a couple of 2 A3 is coming in [Music] got a Milan come up as well that’ll help you want to move that guy back he’s getting the grener maybe just back for a sec I’m going to push forward on the right in a little bit I’m just waiting for some reinforcements to come up awaiting instructions down in go get him tornado oh man get out of there they’ve got a MIG 21 as well Wolfpack would be proud oh we both missed Rollin yeah let me make sure my AA is in this fight just come a little bit closer make 21 I can hit you with my rapers sir I do love the balance in this game where you have to like push your AA up but then not so far that it’s exposed so then you move your land a little more for forward the whole Cycle’s just done very well looking fory ples if the enem is in range so are we tank my R can’t hit anything uh RIT get back I didn’t realize you were going quite that far out of out of your way going again down oh when he hit a good job gun you know it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea for me to send like something crazy off to the far left fight consisted can they can they just go through that the armor are they allowed to yes Captain I mean infantry can probably I don’t know my rapers seem pretty damn good at knocking down enemy H copters at least tank ready engaging target yeah can these guys Retreat how do I Retreat as I say that they’ll counter battery me at your orders come calling up three Challenger Mark 3s on the right I amisten had a pretty big push com my side all right actually have aircraft inbound so you have a Target Captain I don’t really know how far my artillery can shoot but oh wow they got a lot of Sams for coordinates going to see if I can artillery him from here that tornado of yours is very lucky yeah there were at least two sand batteries I’m targeting one of them with uh with my artillery they’re just the fire mission’s taking a while to come in dead successful hit artillery at your orders drop 200 six rounds over yes sir open fire oh no don’t die damn that was close pull back ready to pound them sir bring us there taxi yes Captain en stupid helicopter killing me backwards I see that let’s see what I can do I move my rolling forward oh man they have a yes sir we hard find contact drop 200 six rounds over oh man we’re just getting in there the F4 yeah might as well yeah oh we shot down that M I got that M 29 find my Rollins are doing something I have three of them out here right out loud what are your orders sir engaging target engaging t72 is on the right rapers coming up to support War man is we got so much AA yeah they try to fly through this Gap right in the middle and they’re getting hit from both size there is pretty brutal though I think I’m going to have to push forward out Santos says this is great don’t even need to worry about Wolf’s audio waiting for instructions I am listening Captain I hear you loud and clear these guys they low on red one ready what’s my artillery doing on ammo back here assuming they’re still alive other helicopters coming in still got plenty it always comes down to the infantryman and his rifle I’m hit these Sams must have oh they’re anti-aircraft Vehicles maybe take a step back then boys for enemy how you deal with these guys in the water artillery back here is it shooting genius yeah maybe they’re actually smart just going to set my artillery to fire at will so I don’t have to worry about it they’ spotted us I don’t love sending Aaron but I feel like I don’t have a choice what are your orders sir minut waiting for Soviets are launching uh Rockets rocket artillery at me I feel like the GRS are so damn difficult to deal with because they’re so mobile gun ready sir all right I need some logistics for these guys Target down waiting for instru engaging target good job Gunner all right we’re doing a good job I think on the right and inflicting casualties all ammo spent by who I am listening captain at your I’m assuming it’s my artillery maybe maybe my mortars no they got plenty of ammo yes Captain button up we’re engaging it’s got to be the artillery right I called in a resupply chopper waiting for fire coordinates no they still got a little bit of ammo someone’s out of of ammo but I don’t know who okay nice he you’re already um it probably is it’s nice that it puts a nice red circle down where the AR’s going so can see friendly fire in problem if you sell a unit some more Mi oh God artillery at your orders the enemy is cut to pie is my Gerard stupid helicopters attacking me do something about that for shanuk when they run like for your resupply when they run out of resupply do you sell them or is there a way to send them back from more unknown one of the cool things about the counter battery is even if you don’t actually see the enemy battery on the map your guys will like hone in on where you see the fire coming from and they’ll just shoot back at that area automatically if you set them to counter battery so it kind of feels like you know when you read in like red storm rising or whatever when they talk about how they use radar and radio to sort of pinpoint enemy locations oh [ __ ] the enemy’s got bmps on the lake beware enemy nearby look at that that’s sweet okay that’s freaking cool oh wait wait did they just sink they disappeared any Target ready to attack control oh man I’m just raining mortars down on this little village where they’re at God that’s cool the dust Another one finds the Dust Winchester D it beware me nearby I’m pulling out oh my God this game definitely does some cool things looking for enemy I did lose one of those aircraft but Victory all right it went well hey I led the team in kills also led the team in losses listen maybe we should play as the Soviets okay um I had a oh my God I got to screen share this man I got a leopard 283 who has I know like a page and a half of kills yeah yeah you to all how many fits in the screen but I have a I had a martyr it did pretty good one two vehicles a truck some three infantry another armored vehicle did either of you end up doing resupply resupply I didn’t send anything back to the uh the F yeah I just called in like a a shinook off the map I forgot about the fob yeah I I send in a lot of resupply they just kind of hang out until needed they’re just kind of like at the front line I only had the only unit that desperately needed it that survived long enough were my self-propelled artillery wow look at that leopard yeah I need him to resupply the anti-tank missiles pretty frequently so yeah I have them hang out ready I think I’m going to take off my field Depot and just put in more like Mobile Supply that seems better you don’t want to leave the front to go back and Supply you should do as a streamer okay okay so what you’re saying is I should so what you’re saying is I should ignore the chat yeah should only talk to us whoa this is this map looks chaotic flat open and hell of a lot of Commander like sectors to take yeah I mean it’s pretty clear with three people that we all got to pick one side and all go that side all right who’s doing what she Mr streamer I don’t know if you want to I’m you know I always take the right I’m on the right side of History rightwing guy that’s right finish you can choose let me survey the situation well I’ll just take metal that sounds fine sounds good I’ll take uh right I was just not going to say anything what are your orders sir wait I’m already on the right I’m going to just try and push straight ahead to the second level I’m kind of thinking the same thing TBH moving at full speed now that I don’t have a deal Depot I have so many more points to spend that’s amazing that’s good yeah Santos I’m I I watch the chat I’m bad about being like super on time with the chat so sometimes people will post something and I won’t see it for 10 minutes but I vaguely remember someone back seating that was that yesterday when I was doing the campaign playthrough cuz I’m bad at this game like I you do better as a supporting role driving Ro almost there can you do co-op versus like the C it would be cool if you could do the grand campaign as a co-op that would be fun or like Army possibility of doing I don’t know how it works but some kind of army General Co-op oh there is yeah it’s an option when you create a new lobby but uh that feels a little it probably gets a little grindy but it sounds cool in concept yeah I think you knew my stance on that well I was thinking about that when you were like is this even like is it fun or does it get really repetitive and I can’t help but thinking I mean I’m just thinking every isn’t is it isn’t every war game kind of like that like a lot of the battles are like interesting and then you keep doing the same thing over and over and it it’s going to get boring like how’s that different than total war tank ready well I I don’t know why I I find it somehow more interesting when I create a new game and gas why well I I haven’t given it a fair Shake I think the campaign can be less grindy and interesting because you get more varied unit setups no but you don’t get you you have to if they fight a battle against the same unit twice you have and if you don’t like it I guess but you also get like this infantry units been ground down and taken a bunch of casualties cuz they carry over battle to battle as opposed to I’m going to play with the same deck every single time in this version because I like it and I’ve crafted it like sure no if that’s what you want to do that’s fine I’m just saying is it really more repetitive but that doesn’t I don’t think that that’s what I’m doing right now but that’s fine I’m just saying that that’s not less repetitive what are you saying I don’t know I’m just talking yeah I would say that you can judge for yourself waiting on me by the way where we maybe my bad I wasn’t paying attention I’m just listening to the conversation I would say that you’re you’re going to find out for yourself right and I’m I’m probably not going to do the Army General so I’ll just live vicariously through you let me know if it’s grindy or not I think it will be but I don’t know that I would like if I played 20 battles in multiplayer I think I’d probably feel the same way whoa you see these things rolling through your town you know [ __ ] happening completely and then you can pick your guy back up just imagining you’re minding your own business eating you know drinking coffee in the coffee shop along the roadway and suddenly six half tracks just Blitz by you on the street with purpose headed to the other side of town and the Gunner just sprays your your little cafe I wasn’t thinking about that sheer Del light on his face already have some contacts need right there excellent we got that guy I hear you loud and clear oh no tank ready off the road damn that was close get out of there God damn it there goes my headquarters enemy spotted ready fire and maneuver waiting for instruction sir looking for enemy PL all right I got my anti-tank missile in place you come on Sir can you hit him from reason but it seems like it’s been effective so far uh unfortunately well they’ve only been up against a Recon Squad so ah okay yeah I see the 2 A3 that’s going to take care of him save the Gard yes artillery I just hear this artillery going off I just love it I love it so much s the best thing in the game it’s Mi Dr sir one less enemy just give me a Target Target on site fire clear we get shot got in front of my tanks how that happen mistakes were made oh God enemy helicopter it’sot here good job gun for thank you Gard at your orders this is red two enemy spotted I hear you loud and clear God so many enemy helicopters finish your Gard is literally saving everything on the right my gard I have two leopards in this Forest they’re shooting anything that comes down this like River Road good job Gunner I’m more focused on the far right flank where they’ve just been borderline overrunning me because they’ve got so many helicopters but you just like destroyed four of them oh that Gard tank ready best job I’ve ever I didn’t even see that I he probably like this is the fastest way to the front lines through through your Zone yes [Music] sir we uh push off do we have a Depot by the way no at your orders [Music] enemy spoted ready shot good job Gunner oh I get a kill to looking for enemy planes we’ll do our best sir good job Gunner ready to transform damn that was [Music] close red six mounted up good job Gunner engaging target this is red two enemy spotted damn that was close what are your orders sir backwards I’m calling I’m calling up six rocket based helicopters we’ll see what happens but my mortars are doing work on all this infantry in the open yes sir damn that was close your leopards are helping too well they’re not really meant forry but I think it’s mainly that the our tanks are holding them in place while the mortars pound them oh my God this leopard’s out of ammo what has it been doing what your orders sir yes Captain damn that was close got 26 rounds Rockets over there still alive let’s fly The Sky Is Ours never mind pull back you ran out of ammo is there a logistic Chopper around here still has Supply make it what the hell is going on having like a tea party over here there’s like all these unit aren’t attacking each other ready to Dr 200 rounds victory victory all right I did not do very well on that one I don’t think the S was making another push and uh that was fun to call in six rocket Choppers I leveled up level four good job Gamers I had the worst number of kills and the most losses again yikes you know I’m a volume shooter I’m going to have good games I’m going to have bad games yeah I had two I set up two leopards that were hitting the main road of Supply into that second point of yours you just would have had to get through what they had in front of you and then you would have been able to which I think we were doing right as the game ended yeah they just sent waves of infantry and it was like my tanks stopped him but also weren’t really killing him I have a leopard 2 A3 with 78 tank kills I don’t have any Heroes this time although how do you is there any way to filter just by tanks or you just eyeballing I’m just
