so we’re off for the car UK Wells Weekender and uh first Stop’s going to be Somerset where we’re camping in snowy my Tesla Model y it’s all packed can’t see that there’s loads of like camping stuff on for the back of the car wheels in the back there somewhere jackets obviously being May it’s sunny it’s cold it’s wet Dam who knows but either way we’re going to have a crack in time um uh so Somerset first for a campsite tonight uh I’m going to meet Colin um he’s coming in his camper van probably staying in the same place I think and um we’re probably going to have to have a little top up first going to stop at Bristol um for a charge uh which is about 100 and something miles let’s just double check uh let’s navigate to I don’t know Bristol Bristol Bristol Bristol UK 105 miles so there we go so yeah 105 miles uh droping a Tesla Supercharger uh and charge up we’ then got got rides um tomorrow morning in the cheddar Gorge so we’re riding through the cheddar Gorge our y well stop so that’s one I have done before um there’s a previous video of that and in the evening we’re then go across to Cardiff where I’ve got an Airbnb for the night which has got charging apparently so we’ll see how that works out and a ride in Cardiff near Cardiff Bay which would be cool and then we’re kind of full on Wells for the next day on Saturday which will be uh I think it’s Breen in the morning and then come come Forest um Mountain Drive in sort of late evening so fun Pat few days um and um yeah this is just kind of a bit of a a log of how things are so I hope you enjoy the hope you enjoy coming along for the ride let’s see how we get on and how much fun we can have hi so let’s take these off um steaming up in here um so just stopped uh where are we stopping South Mims so um just stopping here just a quick top up uh get up to about 200 mil then it’s about 100 miles down to Bristol I want the reason why I want to stop at Bristol and charge is that Bristol will go down to um near or Sanford in Somerset and I’m Tesla camping overnight so generally what I found is around 20% you use to maintain you know air temperature and all the other stuff that you want whilst you’re doing it including things like Netflix if you want to watch Telly and stuff like that so I’m going there going to top up to about 90 95% so I’ve got enough of there and then the following day I’m driving to Cardiff while it’s not far it’s like 56 mil I just want more than enough and then I get across there and then my Airbnb that I’m staying at has got charging so I might going to charge there or there’s a Tesla Supercharger in Cardiff anyway so depending on what works out we’ll we we’ll do either um it’s about 10 I think it’s about 103 mil to the Tesla Supercharger that I’m going to it’s got about 13 14 stall so as always it’s usually more than enough it does seem like um bank holiday season has City season has kicked in South Mims is quite busy already um I was hoping that most people will be going down tomorrow Friday it’s Thursday but um we’ll see what the traffic’s like hopefully it’s not too bad but I’ve got all day to get down to the campsite I’m not in any rush today rid’s not until tomorrow morning so I’m going to chill out have a few beers um sort myself out in the back of the car and yeah we’ll go from there so next update will just be from um from Bristol and then we’ll go from there um so where are we so we’re in Bristol now cribs callway callway charging 14 um superchargers here i’ I’m pretty sure I’ve been here before maybe even for the previous Wales um trip um straight in literally there’s two about two Teslas maybe three Teslas charging so it was great about 10 or 11 uh charges free super quick started off at about 160 odd Kow now down to about 76 but I’m about to 171 miles already I’m trying to going to put in about 90 95% I just want that 20% for tonight I’ve got about I think it’s about 20 25 miles to go until the campsite um get something to eat and then um sort out the camping crap in the back um I’ll take you through what I’ve got and um yeah and then we’ll we’ll sort out for the night I think and then um then tomorrow’s um first ride day so um weather’s been weird today it’s been like cold then really hot and sunny had the air conditioning on then it’s got chili again so I’ve had to put my jump back on so um luckily I’ve brought um riding gear for both occasions so just in case so yeah we’ll see what happens um but yeah next upop is Sandford in um sunet so um shouldn’t be too long it’s um coming up for half past 4 so hopefully I can avoid some of the traffic I might get stuck in a a little bit but yeah we’ll see how we see how we go we’ll get this done and then we’ll um we’ll get cracking so we’re here in uh mendip uh ski Adventure Place um and as you can see pretty much to ourselves we’ve got Collins here too there’s the Colin in his van woohoo and uh yeah we we’re we’re here for the whales Weekender so um wow yeah I need food and beer though um so um that’s that’s the next stop um but yeah apart from Little lanes that Tesla doesn’t like pretty good so we’re all sorted Tesla camping is set up so in here you can see that sleeping bag blowout mattress M underneath just for extra extra padding pillows bag of clothes and stuff and see perfect you don’t want to spend more than the day in this though um I’m really short and even I struggle so um towards the end of I suppose day one uh which is more just the travel down here uh I’m now in the Tesla um I’ve not got C mode on I’ll do that a bit later uh just again hold the temperature overnight what I need to do if I need to it’s still quite warm and um yeah as you can see down that way so use the app to close the P the car’s had enough to Lo him in um and down the bottom there is a 12v uh cigarette type lighter um Port so if that’s good to know and um yeah it’s it’s not that late it’s only about I know 8:30 something like that I’m really tired didn’t get much sleep last night so try and get some sleep tonight um uh yeah there’s a little shower block over the way so I’m going to have shower before we go to the first ride maybe try and get some breakfast somewhere I’m not sure if not we sort that out later um yeah it’s reasonably comfortable I mean I’ve said this in the previous video I if anyone’s got some ideas about what you put underneath between the seat the front seat and the back seats going down there’s a gap so I’ve propped it up with pillows and stuff like that maybe that’s what you guys do but um just seems a little bit of an oversight there isn’t something the way of using or adapting the parcel shelf to do something like that or whether that’s what you do uh it will do for tonight I’m not sure I’d spend longer than that it’s literally only just enough room for for me if I’m honest I suppose you could push the seats the front seats full W further but I don’t think you get that much more room um I you might get two people in here um but I’ve got me and you know my bags and stuff um so um yeah Internet isn’t very good here I’ve got my steam deck though so that should be all right hey and um yeah I’m I’m probably rambling now okay so welcome to day two so day two it’s about 9:00 and not a bad night sleep in the Tesla and uh we’re going to we’re near I think MIP Hills uh and we’re going to ride through Sanford and then on the strawberry line and meet the other guys at about 11:00 and then this will flip over to probably some 360 footage of the ride um and then we’ll catch up later so um yeah should for another ride in Cardiff along Cardiff Bay for a sunrise I need to get something to we as well so um I’m going to head out I think now and go and do that get something into it and then come back and then that’ll be the end of day uh day one I’ll update you when I get back see how that was give some obviously some 360 footage and stuff like that and then um tomorrow’s Breck and beacons and you can hear in the background charging the wheel uh and um end of day two cardi was absolutely fantastic I absolutely LED that ride Sunset was just perfect shout out to John Davey both cheda and Cardiff absolute Legend arranging it making sure people get where they need to get to and like don’t get lost and all that sort of good stuff honestly spot on mate and if you if you guys out there haven’t done any of these rides before next year car UK make sure you get down to one of these honestly it’s brilliant for all um riding abilities and PVS and stuff like that it’s such a good time um anyway I’m going to carry on drinking beer I’ve got a nice English breakfast in the morning and then onto day three which should be Breen and kcom see you there morning everyone so um off to Breen this morning for the final day for me anyway the whales event is ongoing uh on it’s now Saturday it’s going Sunday and Monday but I’m heading back probably after today so we’ve got my Sherman s um managed to fast charge it on the Roger charger uh last night hour got it back up to 100% um so we’re good for today’s rid we probably would have been but the last ride might have been a little bit slower so um Wrecking this morning and Kung con Forest maybe uh later today it’s PR Sunny which is great let try and get over that side sun’s not my eyes but you can’t see me hey um so yeah it’s only about 38 minutes uh to the next ride so um a little update then and then I’ll be some ride footage bit more chatting and then hopefully some final ride footage of there I’m going to try and take the hover uh X1 up with me as well I didn’t haven’t really had a chance to use that uh this weekend so we’ll uh try and use that and um I hope you’ve been enjoying it so far keep keep going last couple of rides and yeah thanks very much and hello so we’re in um Breen and I don’t know if you can see in the background but I think we’re going up one of those big hills in the back so uh should be fun few boys here already um down at the car park near the Lakes absolutely beautiful nice little ride in drive in as well and I think we’ll be off in about half an hour or so should be fun so um yeah more absolutely awesome amazing ride up a mountain um some steep inclines some nice roads not of nice roads um just a ton of us there it was absolutely incredible loads of people I haven’t seen even on the other rides um and I haven’t seen for a while which was so awesome it’s always good to see loads of friends on these rides and this is what these group rides are all about so that was proper exciting I absolutely love this stuff um um it really it really does make it these group rides um with you know so many cool people and friendly and everyone’s in it for the same sport there’s no arrogance or anything like that I just I just love it I really do um so I’m now charging at an instav Vault um just so I can um Drive most of the way home after tonight so the last one that I’m attending is um Coman Forest uh which is a 10m smooth tat ride up a mountain um and we’re going to do that around 5:30 it’s about qu to 3 now so I’ve got plenty of time and we’re going to do that enjoy my final ride with the guys um and then head home so it be about another 3 or 4 hour drive home um so I probably won’t do an update after this but the next video the next footage you’ll see will be the ride and then and then uh that’ be it but um keep watching for the keep watching for the uh the Ry video it’s been honestly an awesome couple of days um I’ve just absolutely enjoyed every time I come to Wales it’s just awesome um the scenery even driving um through parts of Wales today has just been incredible um Fly recommend it um if you get a chance to come down next year um there is still some uh things over the next couple of days which I can’t make um but honestly it’s it’s fantastic and you know well done like the guys from p and C UK and John Davey and all the other guys and girls that you know make these events possible and all the people that turned up I mean I think most rids we’ had about 6 50 or 60 Riders which is just amazing and having them all in the same place and watching like
