hello there everybody I’m being blinded by the sun here it is day seven of our trip in Italy with grand tour’s project everybody setting up behind me I didn’t have time to do my intro in the room cuz I was in a rush today we’re going up the biggest climb I’ve ever done in my life we’re going up motar Rolo it’s over 1,800 M up high in the air so I’m excited cuz you know I love a good climb but I’m also a bit nervous because it’s going to be hot but then apparently on the top it’s going to be cold so going to have to pack a layer in the back pocket but we’re only doing a 35m ride we’re going up the easiest side of Motorola I say easier but I don’t think any climb that tall is going to be easy but we’re going the same way the pros are going up they’re on Stage 15 of the jro so they’ll be behind us and then where we finish tonight we should see them cross that finish line or at some point on the course but anyway everyone’s getting ready Kyle’s over there somewhere find him Kyle right you feeling ready for your biggest ever climb give oh yeah I’m ready for clb is anyone else’s biggest ever CL 6,000 ft I’ve been over big Bo League just us then we are biggest ever El we don’t have mountains in the UK just on the way and K just dug his headphones out cuz he wants some motivation for the climb um what on Earth is that K I think I’ve had a gel disaster it’s a good job Elma here with the wipes I know yeah what is Kyle you have to lick it off if it would come off with the tisses well I suppose if I’m really struggling at the clim I can just get me headphones anger we are now in Milano I just quickly nips like Cafe to their toilet got to have a Wei before I go up the climb and we are in the Alps look at this it’s gorgeous we’re up in the mountain so basically our route just kind of goes steady climbing then up the Moto right down and then like up a little bit more to bouro so hopeing we see the pros whip through there and yeah how big is the actual climb car cuz we’re 600 M up now aren’t we so the actual climb is from here to the top is about 1,000 M 1,300 something 1,300 bling neck I didn’t think it was that I’m put jacket jacket I thought you could leave it I think the van’s going to meet us halfway up so you can put your jacket in there so you don’t have to carry it perks of the uh supported riding don’t get that on an odax Penny’s just been lubed up with some oil now I’m lubing up my tumy with some snacks chocolate nothing nice feels a bit sick I’m nervous look at the Alps Kyle m helps oh I’m so excited Morty Rollo here we come 9.35 bonies and 4,22 ft to go up we got 3,900 ft to go I’m on his back wheels decided as a group that we can all just got our own pace and meet each other at the top cuz when you’re climbing it’s nice just to take your own climbing Pace 6 and 1/2 miles left to climb and go wait a minute it’s inos woohoo hello Coes oh look how big that ears are hello here we are It’s The Sign B something mono Paso multi bolo let’s go 1,66 is that Meers I’m going to go I do then I won’t catch you it’s way you’re going multi roller here we come oh look at that snow up there there’s load of cist on the road the pros will be coming up here later on the stage 15 hello hey it’s the blue jersey you see blue [Music] [Applause] jersey sa four more miles left to climb that’s where the guy’s cheering us go down there it’s very sneaky got a mono sign hello this is gorgeous look at that just St look back and Kyle was gone but look at this look little display oh here he is go on Kyle going you go it’s a b the fact we’ve got 3.8 Mi and 2,299 ft still to climb means steep bits are coming look at that purple look at that action car’s got the tunes on he’s going up I got sweat in me eye my water bottle is made out of sugar cane I wish it was made out of sugar environmentally friendly but can’t eat it we’ve just seen a kid being pulled up by his dad on a little bite behind the dad like with a string how the hell he do that I do not know car’s got Sun cream in his eye sting up mad M we got a bit of Light Relief in the middle 8% I say light relief it feels like light relief compared to what we just went up wo 2,000 ft left to go y I love those fellas when they give a bit of motivation we this up what way what weigh how mental I am way up weigh up how mental we are to do this CIA enjoy a picnic little a salami yeah car’s a climber now they stopping him need to slow down a bit wow I think we’re near in the top now I can’t quite tell cuz G’s being silly but look at this got a bit of Light Relief this climb is lovely really enjoying it actually 3 km to go oh you’re big gearing it Amy yeah you’re pretending to have maros gears yeah big ring longer little ring now there’s woohoo and it is steep to the end Ling timeo Crowds Are Gathering when the uh the pr come up oh they’re trying to kill us off on the last up there is where we’re going we got a windy road but look at that view it’s gorgeous but it’s not [Music] easy what Mama Mia oh that last bit was steep but it wasn’t the top we keep on going I think that’s the top up there so we’re nearly there hallelujah oh no it’s not so got a ky to go HS off of this fell jeez 1K to go this is hard now we got youo he’ll be whipping be later I feel like I’m off dead oh busy at the top C like this H it’s bling busy up here it’s like padil circus but that’s where the pros be coming through we actually went past the motol sign back there and the rest of the group is still coming up so we’re going to go back down there where it’s a bit quieter and have some photos Kyle did promise the top of the hill D so we’re going and do that down there you all right Kyle great this is officially the highest I’ve ever been on land in my life hey well done well done it’s a bit less crowded down here well I say that there’s been people flying up and down they got knocked out the road but we are 1,852 M up in the air the highest I have ever been apart from being on a plane so and you as well yeah very happy about that and K you did promise the top of the hill Dan so don’t do it by this sign or the sticker sign I’ll do it here don’t scuffy cleat wor about three two one action hey oh you got quite a good click to you there worried about shoes here’s the sticker sign but some beggers BL parted in front of it how disrespectful anyway there it is other side Yes actually I climb from the other side yeah and 300 M H to the I just turned around when I saw the guys yeah I don’t blame you so again jacket on yeah full gas descending yeah now all the way to motoin lovely yeah with a ride every kilometer group oh you’re going to go all the way to the end today are you that’s right yeah oh nice so one group yeah I think your group is going to be until bormio and you will see the race coming through yeah and then the right every kilometer is going all the way to the to the Finish Line yeah yeah good on them that’s right how long we go Caravan are coming through woohoo that means the pros aren too far behind hey I have some of that oh then car do a bunny I know you want to wooho had an elevation on that route we just come up a right burner and a Garin s we’ve still got two more climbs left today so we’re not done yet two more two more what climbs playing City bers with me heyy well done everyone did you enjoy it yes good was a beautiful climb and beautiful I really love the M Power made it to bouro the fellas that are doing ride every kilometer have gone up there up that climb but we’re waiting here now cuz the pros are about 15 minutes away so they’re going to be coming whipping down there around here what a ride it’s just been the best day I’ve been the highest ever been in my life and I loved it did you feeling high off life right now ging oh my heart rate’s recovered in 2 minutes it’s gone down I don’t know what you think yeah I find it harder riding than the Peaks I think that was harder than the peak I don’t know you know cuz it’s just one hit is it l no no but that’s like one hit of a climb yeah to be fair like it’s different in the piz cuz you’re like up down up down but here it’s just one clim takes a bit your L to work again after a big climb like that then it’s fine but I’m thinking this time it’s actually two weeks today wouldit back here for CIO sportive so that’s going to be a bluming killer and it’s only a week after I finished allo SN so I’m setting myself up for a a tired week anyway Pros are coming celebrating the day with a beer highest has ever been apart from when he’s with me you know
