Tedy uh how much are you looking forward to today you don’t know this climb and how much do you want to sign off on this jro with a Another Mountain win yeah I look forward to it but uh yeah the the weather is a bit uh party pooper today but uh yeah uh let’s see it’s a nice stage and uh a lot of uh fans going to be on the final climb especially slovenians and uh yeah I I I hope for a good L and uh we see if we can uh do something special how hard how tricky how dangerous is the Monte graph climb I think it’s pretty hard I never done it before but uh yeah I think uh it’s going to be really hard clim and also tricky descend with small kick in the in the middle so yeah uh let’s see uh we do it two times it’s going to be nice very quickly one thing you’ve loved about this jeto sorry one thing you’ve loved about this jro Italia uh yeah one thing I love the most was uh was defense this jro yeah one thing you hated ah a little bit the rain yeah and very last question I’m asking everyone can t Pacha do the jro tour double everyone so far has said yes what do you say uh it’s possible yes but uh it’s far away and uh you never know what happens uh yeah I won it two times the tour and two times I came second so the chance is uh pretty good but uh yeah as as far as I feel now with the shape I’m I can be pretty confident that I can go with the good shape to to the tour you know get the second place back but it’s certainly going to be tough cuz Danny’s been riding really well so I think um go into it with the mentality of trying to to gain time but yeah we’ll see where we are once we’re on the clim that’s a good CL for you it’s really long really hard yeah yeah I think so but uh well we’ll know more by the end of today really how you feeling after yesterday yeah fine no worries no worries just uh as I said just more pain in the legs just from racing my bike for 19 days today your birthday y happy birthday thanks yeah I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else uh tough tough day and uh the weather’s just adding to it as well Danny Martinez says he wants to try to follow pogy and wants to try to win the stage and I say well don’t you risk trying toow don’t you risk blowing up and losing that second but he’s all in for it uh what do you expect from him today just that and what do you expect out of yourself yeah I think uh he’s been riding really well really well all race and um he’s being aggressive and don’t expect any less and yeah we’ll try the same really you know it’d be great to win today but against pus um that’s certainly difficult but we’ll we’ll see how it goes and yeah when it comes to Dany um yeah we’ll see and finally just what would a second place mean for you oh it be massive you know um or whatever happens really to be honest just um cuz I’m quite old now you know and it’s it’s good to still be there in the mix and fighting for the podium so um yeah we’ll see what happens are you looking forward to it today yes I hope I I I I will be looking forward to it more if it dries up I think it’s supposed to fingers crossed for that uh what do you know about this climb because this build as the hardest climb of the jro yeah it’s probably one of the hardest climbs you can do in cycling because it is 18 K it’s very very steep in sections uh it’s just very long to be honest uh so two times 1 hour is a is a a lot of time you have to pay yourself for breathing everything’s going okay any coughs no I’m better today uh F was better yesterday as well F back to normal again so yeah should be ready to get uh Danny Martinez says he wants to try to attack and follow py and go for the stage win and what do you expect out of the guys around you tiir and Thomas and so on uh I’d be surprised that g tries to follow he would try to follow Danny for sure but cuz second’s always been and third but yeah as I said it’s a long long clim uh and you do have to manage your effort because in the end it is 1 hour good luck today nice Denny uh what’s your biggest worry with garrant Thomas breathing down your neck in today’s Monte graa stage yeah ah yeah yeah yeah I know well the G is a really good Rider to the big tours and yeah today is a special day you know on the last climb is hardest climb on the D Italia yeah he focus on G and all of these guys on GC guys and yeah I try to to to follow maybe pogar because today he wants to win the the stage also you’ll try to follow T are you worried about perhaps blowing up if you try to follow T and losing that second to Gar yeah to be honest my man is now try to win the stage you know but obviously I need to to care about me you know because we know basar is a really strong guy and when he go to attack H yeah it’s sometimes it’s difficult to follow him and yeah I need to the yeah calculate the my my energy my power also in the final climb and let’s see what would a Podium mean for you in this g i to be honest it’s really special for me because H I work really hard for this and yeah it’s a a dream Luke are you feeling better uh after yesterday you stopped a few times to use the bathroom right yeah uh no I’m not feeling that much better it’s been a a rough 12 hours overnight um but we’ll try to get through it today one last day is it a problem you also you have to be careful you lost all the liquids yeah it is I’ve tried to get them back as good as I can um struggled to eat a bit so it’s more just like having sugary drinks or fruit juice or yeah trying to smash that way to get the liquids back and the calories in but uh I mean we’ll see how we go today it’s uh I mean for us it’s trying to keep Zer in the top 10 that’s the only goal for the day um there’s no other objective so hopefully I can be there to help uh like I was the other day on whatever hard climb it was um so hopefully I can as long as possible to help support him if he needs it but um I don’t expect it to be a very big group what do you know about this double Ascent it’s a tough climb uh only what my roommate hey told me last night he said it’s going to be one of the harder climbs you’ll ever do um 18K at over % it’s it’s pretty brutal and to do that twice yeah so I don’t know much else apart from that um hopefully the weather plays nice at the top you look forward to getting the day over you look forward to getting this J over I’m very excited to go home Monday morning back to and uh yeah I think put a great jro in the bank some great experiences and I think uh yeah three top fives in a top 10 I can be pretty happy with all considering um obviously I came here to ride a bit higher on GC but I think uh given I was sick during the second week I’ve actually Come Away with quite a successful J for me and I can take a lot from it um and build towards the future cheers
