The new downhill track in Poland had a bit of everything…

Race #2 of the 2024 season took the crew to the picturesque Beskidy Mountains of southern Poland for a BRAND NEW stop in the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Series. Located near the town of Bielsko-Biała, the team at Sczzryk Mountain built a fast, flowy, and loose downhill track that proved to be a great hit after initial skepticism. Dry and dusty for track walk then wet and muddy for practice, the riders had to deal with all conditions. Bodhi Kuhn (Trek Factory Racing Downhill) scraped through the Semi-Finals in 30th place (thanks Loic Bruni!) to qualify for his second Finals in as many races, finishing 22nd on the day. Roee Ostfeld (Commencal IC Studio) crashed during Qualifying after looking fast on track all week and unfortunately failed to make it through to the Junior Finals.
