so ready to go let rock and roll obviously this weekend is the final weekend for our uh charity leagues um let’s take a quick look at the top scores from last week with the fantasy football we had Gage Gage Dyan apologies if I pronounced your name wrong had the highest score with 143 points oie rashford still holding on to that top spot in the Super Six John Morgan had the highest score with 17 points but uh Pete m melroy is just clinging on to that top spot for the season my battle Rod has been over for a for a while but I ending on a high beating him in both the uh the Fantasy Premier League and the super six this week fantasy league I had 106 Roger had 95 I had eight R had six final deadlines the final round is this weekend but um of course we should make mention as we will be crowning all the Champions and the prizes will go out it’s all for charity and uh this season we are on course to raise over 2,000 for the free uh three kicks Foundation a Char that uh offers underprivileged children a special day out at their favorite football club which is what it’s all about uh and that is the main thing so very happy to say for the third or fourth season in a row that we’ve been involved with Will doing it’ve raised a lot of money for charity big shout out to will though because he’s the man who sets it all up he’s the man who does it and um very very grateful to him and he like he’s raised an incredible amount of money through his walks for wits at the start of this season and then the super six the Fantasy Premier League do get involved next year get involved challenge yourself against a load of EX footballers and people and um you know just enter raise your money uh raise money for charry that’s that’s that’s what it’s all about um so big shout out to will contact will melu you’ll always see him in the Chats on YouTube and stuff like that um I can also put you in touch with him to join the group with the more the Maria I know there’s some more ex footballers joining us next year so it’s going to be be even more fun but uh mate Lots going on in the world of football many in front it 60 was it 7 I lost it’s not it’s not even that much now mate it’s closing the Gap it’s um six 80 something 80 something s effectively it’s two seasons to one isn’t it so you have to win one eventually but we don’t don’t good as you last season that’s I see I don’t want to become like United fans now and what Liverpool fans used to be where you’re cling into history it’s no good as last season and this season I am on top by a country mile that’s that’s fine and I accept it Well Done congratulations it’s about time you turned up for it but well done congratulations yeah I give it an extra minute or so this year so that extra minute is paid off of course that’s that’s what it’s about mate at the end of the day I raised over two grand for charity mate and I I’m very happy with that about 100% which took kind of um on like controversial decisions I guess uh V the Premier League uh wolves have triggered a vote to scrap V and uh the use of assistant referees from next season all 20 members of the uh of the league will have an annual general meeting on the sixth of May 6th of June where they will all vote um personally I don’t think it will make any difference because I don’t think there’s any way all of those clubs will or they won’t even get a majority I think the majority would rather it stay where do you kind of I know we’re gonna we’re gonna have that conversation with the X referee next week which is going to be really interesting but just generally speaking like where do you stand might not stay in the name for a big reveal no no it’s just in just in case it falls through m l years something always happens and then like it’s not like a big secret it’s just like I but like so basically I just I’m interested like generally speaking what are your opinions on V do you like it do you hate it somewhere in the middle because for me I would rather it we just have goal line technology and been offer I like it I like it it’s just the idiots have run it but you’re always gonna get that and you it’s because it’s always referred back to a human so you’re always gonna have the human eror so you may as well you getting human it’s quite clear you set up right right right is this is what happens I’m in the in the in the um I’m in the booth on uh last night say last night right uh penalty appeal right I’m speaking to the guy who I’m in in the where is it stop days some little cubby hole somewhere so I’m speak the guy who’s running’s doing doing the stuff right show me every single angle you’ve got right yeah no can’t see anything there no can’t see anything there no can’t see anything there oh wait a minute yeah go back yeah he he he kind of Clips his ankle and kind of yeah he kind of Clips his bottom his foot like is a kiles so um in my view it looks like a penal but you need to go have a look and just change your mind or or or not but yeah advise you look the stream that’s up for what what did that take me for instead go yeah takes him like four minutes and they’ve not even seen every angle and the most important angle is the one that shows it’s a penalty yeah so why are they not seeing all the angles so this is out that’s the rundown in rugby league or in Rugby Union you can hear you can hear him speaking right show me this angle yeah yeah no yeah can’t see him there and you can hear it you can hear him conversing with each other these [ __ ] idiots don’t know what they’re doing send him the camera there be panicking going no flustered oh [ __ ] got make a decision no concentrate look at the evidence and see all the the the footage and then make a decision instead they’re all bumbling idiots because they don’t know what they’re doing it’s so frustrating they have zero faults in rby Union rby League zero and they can hear everyone can can he what’s going on people at home can hear people on the in the crowd brilliant they can see it but BOS yeah I don’t think it’s football you should be able to see it but you still should be able to hear what’s going on with a pain cust up we don’t hear two bumbling idiots talking about what they think and then get ultimately get it wrong it’s just it’s so the V is perfectly good system it’s just idiots running it yeah it’s a it’s a weird one for me because I think it’s from a purely like fan perspective but I can imagine for the players as well like the constant scoring of like a last minute goal and then you kind of half celebrate but then you celebrating and then you like it stops you got to wait four minutes and then you don’t get it or you do get it and I just think it takes a lot away from what makes football so incredible um whereas you know if you go back before any technology was there you know we’d be in the pub afterwards oh that [ __ ] ref he hates us blah blah blah but at least like you accepted that it was human error and you know that their mistakes will happen sometimes you’ll get it sometimes you won’t but then equally now it’s like well there’s video there’s video um technology and the decisions still seem to be wrong there’s been so many this year which I’m looking at it and I’m thinking all right that if you’re not going to give this that’s fine but then like 24 hours later you have exactly the same thing and they give it and you’re just like if you’ve got the technology use it it’s just use it properly properly yeah on the you know what we’ll just keep off sides because yeah we’re not we’re not um trained well enough in this minute maybe they where they get where they they pull back from it and then train xros and get X Pros in there with with the referees and get them qualified to to help you know my one my one problem with the xpros thing is there’s like a lot of xpros don’t seem to be able to remove their bias from it so if you look at someone like Gabby just as an example right Gabby in there I know that but there’s a but all players so just as an example for him he probably probably that’s a bad that bad idea you don’t want too many people in there you can’t have a discussion oh that’s not that’s not bad tackle that’s a so you know they’ve got to go by and the referees go by the law really don’t they where let me let me ask you a question then you know um you would have watched the United game on the weekend not in the Newcastle game the the Arsenal game right so Ahad Cuts in the box and at first I thought that’s not penalty but then when they showed it from the one the other angle I was like well he’s tripped him up so it is apparently but from what I could gather by what they showed on TV it didn’t seem like the V they just kind of quickly looked at it looked at the images looked and they didn’t look at that one angle which showed that he tripped him and then I was like what’s the point in having it if you don’t look at all the angles well this is why I’ve just said just said how it should play out right give me every single angle you’ve got don’t give me every single angle when the flipping instance passed I want every single Angle now how long should what no like went through it there was four different angles and then a fifth one might a fourth fourth one that c up and it was blatant you could see it yeah and that’s why I said with the Gorden one it was like you know it’s on three different camera angles you can’t really see it then the fourth one it’s very clear so but that’s the one we seen after the fact it’s like why haven’t they shown it why yeah that’s why he was adamant when he got interviewed if you watch his interview after the game he said he said to his teammates that that’s the penalty that watch I don’t even need to argue the referee that’s why I didn’t argue with him so I just gonna wait for it because he say it was quick so I was just waiting when we just kept on playing and he couldn’t believe it he sock it’s mad M so ree has just putting a comments he says what if the referee’s assistant and say the expro what if they both disagree but that’s the same as what it is now the people in the box if go back to the referee goes back to the ref anyway don’t it you say have a look like we think one of us thinks it’s a penalty one of us is not sure you have a look this is the angle you need to see look at it like I don’t see why it’s complicated but we’ve seen so many inconsistencies this year with hand balls fowls um just as an example again there was the one where against Man City and United where they took it back for that penalty against holand but then I’ve barely seen any similar incident given as a penalty all season holand was rugby tackled at Arsenal earlier in the season and nothing like it’s just this weird consistency is what we all want like if x is a foul or X is a handball whatever that’s fine but it’s got to be every game has got to be the same it cannot be yes 24 hours no 24 hours later on a Monday is is it a penalty again then the next weekend is not a penalty and it’s like it’s just infuriating for everyone and if you know look you could go on social media mate every single group of fans think they’ve had been like done over by VAR this year Liverpool fans think they’ve had the the worst of it and they think VAR screwed them over but then all other fans do the liver Liverpool because they think Liverpool always get the best of the decisions like every fan base thinks VAR screwed him over and to me that’s a massive issue because that shows the inconsistency in it but I don’t know where we go from with it m because and I’m I am interested what um what he says on Monday um just in terms of as an ex- referee how he looks at it because he was a very very good referee a top referee who interacted with the players and had you know a very good way of dealing with players and and their attitudes back in the day and I’m interested in what he thinks if it’s improving things if it’s made it worse if referees don’t take responsibility you know I because I think this the not just the technology side of it but I think the general standard of refereeing has gone down because I think they think that oh if I missed it that’s fine they they’ll they expect V to sort of you know make the decision but VAR is almost not going against the referees on field decision unless it’s so blatant like really obvious so then you have all these nuances in between which get missed because they don’t want to go against the referees on field decision and then it just becomes fasal see if you come back now you’re Frozen um moving on from V I want to talk a bit about the title race first actually we may as well because we were just talking about United I’ll let you um I wanted to ask you a few things about United um so I’ll sort of have my say while I wait for you to unfreeze the um I’ve noticed that Wayne Rooney Roy Keane Gary Neville um a lot of the kind of ex ex you know ex players Legends they seem to have slightly changed their tune on tenh har in the last two weeks where they’re not saying like he should leave he should be sacked Etc they’ve kind of changed to oh I think he’s um they’ve kind of changed their tune a little bit and they’re kind of like oh yeah I think you know he needs to be given time he’s got to get certain players out and basically I think the reason that the likes of Gary Neville Wayne Rooney Roy keing these people have changed their tune a little bit it’s because they’ve heard through the gra grape vine that tenh har is probably saying next year do you see a difference in how they’re kind of discussing the manager situation over the last probably two weeks they seem to be more supportive of ten hard than they were previously almost like they know something because they can identify what what what a challenge it is with these players and and most of these players that are still there that have got all these managers sacked so it’s yeah stick with him give him another year and see what happens look what happened with arteta cl took three or four years so to think to turn it around in two years what done him really he had a really good year last year I say really good year he finish second third third and and won a cup so and go to another final as well we probably overachieved last year and this is where we’re at this year so but you know we had Ronaldo last year he probably helped a lot yeah a bit Yeah there’s do you know what’s interesting about it as well I did you see when um they the sky presenter I forget his name sorry but he brought up the squad of United and they divided in defense Midfield and T yeah that’s it and then and he said to Wayne Rooney like who would you what would you base what all of him yeah where he said you build the side around Bruno Fernandez you keep all the young kids and you get and he basically said get rid of them all and the presenter went what and he and Wayne R was like yeah they all like think of the managers of as post Fergie Jose Mourinho serial winner vanal has won things all over the world um 10 har like was a revolutionary manager which is why they wanted him um apart from Dave who had one leagues wherever he’d been yeah they’re all apart from David Moyes they were all proven managers worldwide Europe whatever you want to say but yeah I guess um but suddenly those top managers aren’t good enough to to get a team going so surely it’s what’s happening behind the scenes is more likely to be the issue rather than the manager so you just get another whoever the I don’t know deserie get in whoever whoever goes in until they’ve able to change the structure off the field and get rid of some of the players who they need to get rid of you know the like this summer martial’s leaving varane’s leaving I would probably guess there’s a few others like maybe rashford possibly um a few others are going to be gone so you got to let him finish the rebuild like he’s halfway through getting rid of players he that he wanted out like you got to think and with hindsight it’s probably good for him that he had momy and Maguire this year because they have probably done him a good job with all the injuries and stuff like that but realistically he wanted those two gone last summer to to then bring in other players because he’s trying to change the mentality of that place the squad everything and I just think what’s the point in sacking him I just don’t I understand eighth Worst season ever blah blah blah but something’s got to change you got to break the cycle and I think they’re starting to change things off the field now they’re going to eventually change things on the field stick with the manager because if he goes next year if they keep keep him next year and he has a really good season they can say right now we can build with you and you can give him a three-year contract and he’ll have the stability and the continuity to this year they can’t just wait a year and keep the same players players are going no no no they they’ve got to get rid of players now that’s what I mean pry sure most players that will be it’ll be Sage from the club okay it or having a little bit of a say should I say so um just very quickly last thing I wanted to ask you about United is I’ve been very impressed over the last probably two or three games Ahmad like you look at Amad and you think why the hell hasn’t he been playing since he came back from injury you look at amrabat in Midfield where he’s comfortable it’s clear that he needed a run of games to get up to speed to get a bit of confidence and Fitness and all of a sudden the team’s got structure because you’ve got amrabat which is releasing Manu to play a bit more like a number eight you’ve got Ahmad on the right Bruno’s back in last night it’s just my concern if I was a United fan would be when this final comes around they’re all coming back now you’ve seen them all on the bench last night is he gonna revert is he gonna revert back to casemiro Midfield which exposes Mayu and the defense because he should keep amrabat in there mate in my opinion he should keep amrabat in there he should keep Mayu in there like I don’t think C unless he goes with like amrabat and casemiro and then Mayu and plays Bruno as a false nine or a right winger or whatever but for me those two players in particular have changed the whole D best players and Holland was one of the best players up there by his movement uh yeah you can’t and you and even though F has played a brilliant game as isday uh I still think he still needs to be in that number 10 spot so now if let’s assume say Maguire’s back Martinez looks like he’s going to be back so they’re gonna have a few senior cent center backs back what’s your Midfield against like or what’s your front sort of six or whatever against Man City who’s starting for you Ahmad holand gacho amra Bruno Manu Casmir bench dallot Martinez you can’t play casemiro against his [ __ ] Highland just can’t unless they play three at the back is the only way they not do that not do well they might do that but I doubt it because yeah he would probably be in the middle there though wouldn’t he but then you you got a problem with two left dog then you got problem two um left footed Center halfs one on the right and one on the left so it’ be a bit disjointed but yeah I yeah it’s a difficult one but whoever you whoever you play on Saturday is the team that you go with it’s going to be really fascinating MIT because I think Amad has been exactly what not just what United need but I think he’s what holand needs as well someone who is looking to assist him rather than score for themselves like Anthony Cuts in and he’s looking to shoot rashford Cuts in he’s looking to shoot Ahmad Cuts in and he’s looking for little onews little triangles that’s what holand needs to get him behind and to get these chances and then when you add Bruno to the mix and then I think gacho is his decision making is not quite there still but you’d expect that he’ started like 30 I think it’s 33 games on the bounce I don’t think really in an ideal world he would have started 33 games on a bounce they would have rotated him in and out give him half the half here half there and they I don’t know I don’t know he’s 19 now mate yeah I just mean that they would have probably given him a rest a bit more like you know taking him off with possibly I’m going back to thinking when you know when uh when IID come through and he was playing 30 35 games by the age he was 18 19 so it’s just it’s normal if you’re good enough play him you know and if you don’t see no signs of tiredness you keep playing him obviously you got to keep an eye on stuff that’s why he’s been bringing him off off in 60 minutes a lot this year so he hasn’t playing playing full games so um I got uh oh you’re Frozen again I they are back two I got two two questions for you then um based around what ree is just said in the comments really so the first one is um Jose Mourinho said that finishing second with United was his greatest achievement with that Squad of players and what everything which was going on he said that was his greatest achievement as a manager everyone mocked him at the time with hindsight can you see where he was coming from well Alan S did same thing yeah I’m I’m just asking the question M if can you understand what was getting at yeah 100% yeah 100% with that team that he had yeah that was with Paul Pogba and Jesse lingard and so they had a lot more legs in the team then um but um yes yeah and people people forget as well he says that he’s not the type of person that’s to [ __ ] is he so you believe him yeah and I think the other thing is people forget like I know Pogba for the money and everything which come with it like people think he was a flop and he probably didn’t achieve what he should have at United but he also at times was very very good for United if you go back to when Mourinho made him Captain he very very good five times a year yeah well done it just it was a consisteny I’m just saying that I agree I agree with you shade of blue this year this week um then you know good dancing good dancers yeah just what I to see media good on social media so ree put another question in and he says with what ten haer spent so far 80 million on Anthony for example obviously the so he says would you trust him to spend this summer before you answer that I will just say the Anthony thing people kind of jump and blame ten ha for that ten hag wanted at the start of the summer but the club said they had other targets Caso why on Earth would you give five years to a 30-y old who can’t run now and then 60 million I don’t see it Mason M don’t see it so yet to see it anyway so but you give him a pass a few injuries he’s not a good you know so we we see how we go with him but he’s got legs he’s still young and he’s a good football I’ve seen what enough of him at Chelsea and for England to know he can play football so it’s just fitting him in where you fit him in but um they need a strong Squad as well don’t they so I think yeah they do but I’m sure M man united to being a squad player trit in there with like if he was fit and 100% would he be in there with Bruno Manu and uh and himself yeah yeah no I agree and I think um it’ll be it’s going to be really interesting what United do in the summer because inos will want to make a statement with players out and players in and they will want to sort of announce their arrival the this new structure and everything’s that is that’s in place so it’s going to be really fascinating because I almost think I’ll be more interestes in who goes than who stays because I do think there’s a slim chance that Anthony goes I because have you seen Anthony’s reaction recently to some of tenh hard’s decisions like he when he’s asked him to play left back for instance a couple of times there’s like he thinks he should be playing on the wing why he bases that on I don’t know but he does think that and I don’t think they’re as tight as they were when he first came I don’t think and that’s because same with him he’s young 21 one yeah a lot to deal with new to a different country some personal issues this year as well it’s a lot to deal with as a 21 year old I think it’s what was I doing at 21 I live in London so I was in London it’s only two hours away yeah it was uh yeah it’s no it’s difficult me last question quickly because I ask you this every few weeks and I want to see if your opinion has sort of changed would you sell rashford in the summer yes would you sell out rashford to Arsenal in the summer if they paid the right price I wouldn’t sell him to an English Club no okay cool right um let’s move on to the the title RAC mate um it’s gone to the last day technically I think it is interesting though everyone’s kind of like uh acting as if the premier you know it’s over but I mean if city were to drop points on the weekend and Arsenal win is I think it’s I think you know Arsenal could can still win the league it’s not over over yeah no it’s not because West Ham I know mugs but hat City for them to win the [Music] league West Ham will they want to win David moyes’s last game course what win you know all eyes will be on you you don’t want to be L as you know just you’re already on the beach you got be professional Dave MO is a good manager it’s his last game they have took some thumpings this year so if you get an early goal yeah it’ be a four or five nil job if it gets squeaky bum time you know I still expect City to win but he got a bit you know he’s getting a bit on in the week against Tottenham and if Sun scores that yes yeah which he really should do 95 times out of 100 you You’ fan him there and he’s miss it yeah so but yeah you’d expect it but youve seen this stuff like happened the last game of the season Senor Arsenal did it I don’t know was it 30 40 years ago against Liverpool and the Aguero incident so it could happen um ree just asked the question he said um as a United fan would you sign son from Spurs it’s got some Contra contract issues looks like this potentially could could leave spurs in yeah swap with rashford yeah Tottenham can have him no problem would you would you sign son would you have son at United do you think he’s up to the standard stuff um he should have scored that last night man absolutely should have scored that and do you know what like if re said then how did son Miss I’ve never heard an atmosphere like that it was dead everyone seemed happy that they lost to stop Arsenal winning the league yeah it was a weird it was a strange that’s that’s that’s that’s a Spurs mentality because they’re not used to winning so they’re they’re haters so they’d rather know wishing someone else yeah so of concentrate on them who cares if Arsenal win it just concentrate and he seem to have a good manager who has that same mind set so it’s just the fans impressed yeah pae um burah fan says everything which United have done since Ferguson has left has been really poor considering their status in the game I think and that’s what we’ve been talking about is the structure off the field has been shambolic what you can say is the moves that they’re making off the field now I think is quite ominous for other clubs because if had David Gil didn’t he had a proper Geer above him so he could work with we had that [ __ ] idiot Ed what his name is Ed Woodward the bank Ed woodwood Ed woodw want equalizer Ed Woodward remember when he last you remember the old equalizer the old Jag he turn Ed Woodward plays equalizer remember o something to prove after the palace game was it because they didn’t challenge Arsenal enough or did they did Arsenal just sort of do enough and grind it out like where’ you stand on Etta do you rate him do you think like interested in it because he’s obviously Pep’s underst study is he effectively yeah he’s done he’s done really well you can see the progression obviously his first year second second year was last year where you know they just fell short uh made a couple of decent signings even though havs was was was a head scratch it seems to be working out now it seems to be performing so then obviously you got de nice you’d expect to be to be just fit straight in because he’s a premier league player for years and he’s an England player plus it was a big prize tag but you know is is’s worth that uh so that’s made them better I think they just fall short and then next year they’ll probably in the summer get Center forward and they’ll be real real real contenders so they are real contenders now but you know I mean you know city is still favorites but I think Arsenal might be pushing them next year if they do get that top Striker because just it’s just sometimes it’s just where we lost it so it’s just small minute details now because they’re both on a certain level Liverpool R but seem to have fell away at the end of the season but no Arsenal have kept at it winning stopped playing I am coaching I know you’re doing your coaches badges in you and um bges years ago um yeah still do coaches got trials coming up next not next week the week after where about 100 Kids professional Scouts coming and we’ll have have them there from 10 till 4: it’s the 29th the 31st mon Wednesday and Friday yeah and we just I was gonna say you were coaching that that or you were like involved with our men’s team last year as well when yeah yeah yeah but and then I got banned but now I’m free to do it again so yeah we’ve been been looking for jobs me and mate so yeah still still doing it good um you know that trial you’re on about then what age groups is that for oh that is from age eight to 15 eight to 15 yeah probably 14 maybe 14 not 15 14 I might be a bit too old then and you have like all professional Scouts so we have different different age groups uh each a coach assigns it each age group um we’ll do warmups do you know little drills and stuff then we’ll go into games and then scalps will just walk around do that for two hour do that for an hour and a half then break for lunch and then do a little warm up again do a little again game an hour for an hour again maybe Shuffle some penalties then yeah good stuff mate good stuff usually about about 15 to 25 kids that come get scouted and get TR where um like who’s that is that through your like your boys AK AKA elit yeah AKA elite football yeah my my 15y old has got a trial or two in the summer which is going to be interesting so see how that goes yeah my my lad’s my lad’s only nine but you know he’s enjoying football I don’t I don’t I don’t people have asked him to come to certain Club but I don’t I don’t think he’s ready I you still one-on ones with he plays his local team and trains plays for yeah he’s not ready for that yet but I think playing with Lo your local grass team is so important to your growth as a kid and football yeah yeah I know what I’m doing because they take exactly made and they take out and when once you get into an academy you’re not allowed to play for your Grassroots team anymore and I think you lose that there’s something to be said for the camaraderie and the the everything which comes especially if you’ve got a decent coach at the Grassroots level which you know I’ve been lucky enough to be involved myself and also my mate is the the manager so I know that my son’s always been in good hands you’re the same you’re like you’re coaching your boy so you know he’s getting good coaching but also you know he’s enjoying his football playing with his mates Etc and I think that’s vital mate and I think sometimes like some teams like have SEL like like like a reserve team like just for like two years ago now see later and the kids are just like what so many times yeah yeah kids just get discard there some some Grassroots coaches where do think they’re flipping they think they’re acmy they’re hold like holding like trials for kids and it’s like come on like you’re discarding kids from playing football surely if you going into if you’re a Grassroots coach for kids like young kids your only goal should be to get as many kids playing football as possible get them out the house get them off the Xbox get them socializing and playing football that should be your only goal of course when you get up into the teenagers and you start playing League football and it’s competitive then you got to pick sides and you got to you know think about different things tactics and winning games but when you’re like sevens to Els twelves should just be funmate for them like ultimately and if you’re a good coach you improve them as you’re going along anyway as you’re making it fun yeah and so often it’s that those coaches who fancy themselves as pep coaching seven year olds and saying oh you’re not good enough for they’re the ones who don’t improve teams uh improve kids yeah we’ve we under our Old Trafford Juniors John John doesn’t John’s like played the football league yeah coached at Manchester City so and and obviously I’ve played and coached and so these kids some of these kids answer back to you you just I tell them straight you do this when you go to professional Club they will kick you out before you can say in a bit can’t do it don’t answer back if you don’t like it it was it was like one of the lads was coming in and he was coming in on goal and Defenders come across and his mates next to him and instead of just passing it to his mate he’s tried to like shoot or go around him and we’ve said to him your mate’s there just and he’s I didn’t see loads of different excuses but the next two three times he was in that position in this in the same game he didn’t do it he passed it and we scored every time so we could then we could we obviously we video it as well so then look see this is what you did there and this is what you did there it’s not all about scoring you assist is just as well as a goal all about goals goals you look stupid now look at that you look stupid because your mate’s there he would have passed to you if you was in that position but you don’t because you’re selfish and you but always pass someone’s in a better position so he was a bit of a bottom lit but we got it they get it in the end it’s a learning process mate today um this is an interesting point which will kind of this will be the like the last discussion because I really like this um I saw this thing uh a post on social media earlier this week and REE is just reminded me and he said basically the the the kind of gist of it is when we was young you were watching United in the Champions League and stuff on ITV for free 16 million people watching it football was so accessible to kids and it’s it’s why I’m as knowledgeable as I am about United is because my old I used to sit with my old man on a Wednesday night when I had school the next day watching Champions League football and I grew up doing that whereas now everything’s on like sky and BT is far less accessible like my who’s like football mad all of them are apart from the middle one but like to play it but watching it they’re not as bothered like my younger one likes the Tactical side of it but like he he won’t sit and watch like super Sunday or something like that unless C was playing you all watch shorts on the phone mate yeah yeah of course shorts but it is also you haven’t got the tension span to sit down and watch a whole game yeah yeah yeah I agree I do agree with that but I also think there’s an element of it being less accessible because you know match of a day and all lot things going on if you if you had your PlayStation where you mates upstairs on on on a touch of a button on in your earphones or a Mobile touch stream phone would you been sat nice and quiet with your dad watching Champions League Football you might not have been so many things these young kids now that’s why the most of them you see at school that’s why all 100 mile hour and they just sit down and relax and chill out yeah they can’t stop they just Conant just relax it’s like on the add generation is it mate like don’t get me wrong like ADHD is a real thing which is causes issues for people and like I know more than most how much it causes issues for kids like but also things like like the Tik Tok kind of generation has made it 10 times worse and it’s just everything is 100 m hour everything is just like in yeah it’s problematic M it’s a whole we could talk about it’s like a whole different subject it like yeah um rob butt like who’s Rob who does the card City stuff for me and and has filled in for me on the channel before like he’s um he’s coaches young kids now he coaches his son’s team and um he said he has people messaging him asking like if their kids can try out for his team and he said it makes him sad that there are teams out there who make kids like try out at that and invoke that mentality at that age group because they’re just young kids starting out playing football for the first time but there is coaches out there mate who are like they will get a group of eighty olds their first ever season playing football they’re idiots they’re idiots all the best ones it’s like no because they’re living a life through the through that they all they want to do is win not about about how the kids are progressing how they want to play football and just enjoy it it’s all about that [ __ ] wanting to win on the weekend you post Instagram my team’s [ __ ] great I can’t you because you’re crap no no well you culture and that’s your job to culture them to get better you donut but you can’t play for us you’re not your left foot’s not coaching you did so many the laptop foring coaches they need Vol in all of them oh M there’s um like in our league playing football against you play sorry you play charity football against him I’m 47 don’t do any Fitness work I don’t do anything I’m 47 you watch them 80 minutes like or 70 minutes even some f skipping round them and they can’t they can’t even kick a ball straight some of them no I yeah and like there’s guys in our league who like they’re referee and they this year in about three or four games we’ve had teams like who just like they just cheating and like I said to the one guy at one point I was like mate at some point you’re just a grown man spoiling kids football
