Another of Simon Weir’s great routes from his book A to Z – Britain for Bikers.
    This is route 54 North Yorkshire Moors ridden on my Triumph Thruxton.

    hello everyone we are on a Simon We route the North York muas so like the last one I won’t be putting the route up but these roads are well known to people in the area if you’re not from the area then buy the book nice Ferrari so the route in Simon book starts and finishes at Helmsley but we are starting and finishing at gizbar which is where we are now just cuz it’s closer to home and makes more sense [Music] [Music] right we’re back into my kind of roads it’s April middle of April and I’m plugged into my heated clothes still cuz it’s Freez so I’ve ridden this road many times and it’s a really nice lovely views much better when the sun’s beaming down on those Hills but it’s not a bad day today it’s not raining that’s a fck it ain’t raining oh was up for you look at this eh look at that quite the famous PB there the lion give people a clue where I am so this road is just curve up curve up curve changes of gradient certainly get your tires rounded off on this one the views again is he for Miles am and this is less than an hour from where I live how lucky can you be nice old Mini up in front to is how much smaller they are than the modern mini could probably put one inside one so what this route does is it joins up two fantastic roads together but takes you through a lovely scenic route to get between the two the guy is a wizard so if you’re returning to the channel thank you very much I really do appreciate you coming back to see what I’m up to and if you’re new to the channel why not hit that subscribe button and you can see some more of North Yorkshire and the borders Lake District and places I get up to with the odd occasional tour be great to have you along for the ride two Ferraris in a day what’s going on I expect there to be loads of bikes here so this is Helmsley it’s very popular bike meet but today I’m not going to stop going to carry on all right so we’re coming up to where all the bikes are but we’re going straight ahead as you can see there are loads of bikes so we are now on another epic motorcycling Road loved by sports bike riders there go some people enjoying the road and S more and S [Music] more so this road is just a mixture of flowing bends a couple of tight ones you like a tight one some lovely changes in gradient in general it’s not a bad Road surface and you’ve got views like that that’s a corner you definitely don’t want to get wrong that one spe I can imagine people who live here are sick of bikes all through the summer just bikes blast and past here B B after bike after bike just curve after curve after curve so we’re in the closing stages of this uh this route we are past all the really interesting bits what’s really good about uh the Simon whe Roots is there only a couple of hours long so it’s ideal for a afternoon or a morning ride out if you were um traveling to another part of the country and you got this book you could have a look to see what rides are there plot one out go and enjoy yourself for a few hours this is a very pretty little village town whatever you would call it very very pretty so that Peak over there is Roseberry topen nice little walk to the top right we are coming to the end of the trip so if you like this please uh give it a thumbs up if you’re not a subscriber uh love you to consider hitting that subscribe button so we can see you again in a future video but this was Simon we’s North York M’s route so keep safe keep riding and hopefully see you in the next one bye-bye [Music]

Nice ride and your bike sounds spot on, travelled quite a bit of that route bike and camper van, Helmsley gets a bit manic and so many overloud bikes, the road you took out of Helmsley was interesting not been on much of that one, well done and thank you for the ride, catch you again soon, ride safe.

    2. I don't understand YouTube, some videos look great when uploaded but this one does not seem t have very good resolution, Recorded in 2K7 60 fps but doesn't look like that here. I use a hight bitrate in the encoding so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
