Clap de fin sur ce Tour de Norvège 2024 ! Comme c’est le cas depuis 2021, c’est la ville de Stavanger qui accueillait le bouquet final de cette 13e édition, avec une 4e et dernière étape courte (125 kms) mais dynamique. Et comme ces deux dernières années, sur un parcours similaire, le maître incontesté de la cité norvégienne s’appelle Alexander Kristoff, prophète en son pays et sur ses terres ! A l’issue des six tours du traditionnel circuit comprenant l’habituelle côte de Grisebakken (600 m à 8,2% / max 14,3%), sa formation Uno-X Mobility a réussi à condamner la belle tentative de Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek) dans l’ultime montée pour permettre un sprint en petit comité. Un travail collectif parfaitement récompensé par le héros local, qui n’a pas tremblé au moment d’aligner Jordi Meeus (BORA-hansgrohe) et Wout van Aert (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) – qui signe là son premier podium depuis son retour en compétition.

[Music] Happ [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] is coming together again [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] together [Applause] [Applause] yesterday you were really close do you think this stage today suits you more I think yesterday suit me quite well but uh it was very fast I think maybe I missed out a little bit on Garing I was using a 55 chain and at the end we were doing more than 73 and a half K I have a good record here I won quite many times but also sometimes I lost so I hope I don’t lose today so we saw pogacha on the go counting with his fingers the number of stage victories if you win for the third year in a row here in Stavanger would you do the same maybe yeah if I have the time [Applause] [Music] [Applause] today is a very Punchy course do you feel it suits you for sure I think today also it’s really short and yeah quite Punchy climb so uh no obviously it’s a it’s a good stage for me for sure everybody will try to uh attack me uh to get this jersey the opportunity to win uh stage race for the first time how does that feel yeah I mean uh it’s a strange feeling feeling because uh it’s not often that I am in this position but um I think that’s good that I have more than 10 seconds so if if somebody wins the stage yeah for sure nobody will take my jersey so I just have to be in a defensive position and uh be aware of the rider just behind me on the GC
