have you ever wondered what sex is like for women in this video we will contrast women’s position in society with their sexual experiences and we will consider what we can learn from such a perspective to do this i’m taking you to one of the poorest countries in europe moldova [Music] an estimated third of the population works abroad and their salary from foreign countries contributes to about a quarter of the gdp moldova has made international and national commitments to promote gender equality and in 2006 created the law on equality of opportunities for men and women 10 years later in 2016 introduced a 40 quarter for each gendering cabinets and electoral list and provisions for paternity leave together with a ban on sexist advertising this sounds pretty good doesn’t it however the implementation on all of these is falling behind women still face discrimination in social economic and political life and their representation in modern politics remains very low access to education and employment is much lower than that of men’s and persistent social norms force women into lower paying occupations there is a huge gender wage gap limited access to child care child care and domestic responsibilities are in women’s hands business women face difficulties to get bank loans and government grants and violence against women is widespread the national bureau of statistics found that 63 of women experienced psychological physical or sexual violence from their partners or husbands and 1 in 10 experience economic violence moldova does badly on all of the usual metrics when it comes to gender equality being a woman in this country is far from great so finding a new perspective and see what we can do with it in development is extremely important and this is why i propose to look at women’s sexual experiences as nothing is as personal yet reflective of a system of hierarchy as mainstream heterosex is let’s see what we can learn from women’s sexual experiences in moldova [Music] do you think women in general in moldova are sexually not satisfied of the societal expectations it’s not the woman’s choice it’s just you satisfied a man and it’s his achievement not yours i’m not bisexual i’m maybe pansexual or even straight i felt uh better and i felt confident with with a girl i was just curious to try with a girl even though i was in a relationship but i wasn’t maybe ready for it i felt good if you were to have a sexual experience here with a guy would be if people found out it would be a bit shameful being i think bisexual they hear is also not as acceptable what about your sexual pleasure do you feel that that’s being addressed they just look for a woman who will cook and clean and satisfy them generally speaking is it expected when a girl sleeps with a guy in moldova that she will be sexually satisfied no it’s about the guy yes always about the guy our society is not ready for the same-sex relationships and from my experience i can say that girls feel each other in a more close way it’s something from another universe you know how to talk and how to satisfy the girl but about the guy you are not even asked what you want and when in what way yeah and one of my experiences with moldovan guys like after an hour of speaking one hour he strayed away asked me if i’m a virgin because that’s what he cared about like if i’m a virgin because his mother was a virgin when he got when she when she got married to his dad so that’s what they care about is was he a virgin no because the man has to have experience but the girl no so who do the men have the experience with exactly that’s the question [Music] gendered scripts make different behavior for men and women acceptable where men expressing what they want is encouraged and the same for women is discouraged be it professional social or sexual and i think we must pay attention to this and create programs in development that target social norms in order to break down the system of hierarchy where women are subordinated to men a sexual pleasure lens to see people’s position within a gender hierarchy is absolutely crucial in our power analysis but this is just what i think based on my research i would love to hear your thoughts share them in the comments and if you like this video then consider subscribing to this channel and check out my video on what sex is like when gender equality is achieved and if you’re completely new to this topic then i suggest maybe you start with my introduction to sex and development

    1. Buna diminieata! I had the fortune of meeting a Moldovan woman a few years ago, a reluctant Muse for my writing. She was a perfect ten, educated, confident, empathic yet brutally honest, unbelievably intuitive and her voice sounded like a waterfall and a champagne bottle popping at the same time! The women in the audio clip sounded very similar, and i was stunned to learn Sacred Feminine is not appreciated there. I reckon Moldovan men don't know they have access to the universe's secrets through them, it'd be almost funny if it wasn't tragic

    2. This makes me very sad, I wish their men understood how much pleasure they could find in making the LOVE experience about the woman they are with. When I learned how much satisfaction comes from pleasing the woman I am with, I never stopped desiring to do so.

    3. The relationship between man and women must follow the Word of the Almighty God of ISRAEL. The Man is the Undisputed Leader in the HouseHold. He must love his Wife as the Lord loved the Church.

    4. This is one sided, you have to look at the overall picture before casting judgements on one gender over another. Men have a lot of expectations but I did not hear that. Moreover, if you look at where the west is going, you wouldn't have even made this video to begin with. There's a study that came out today, 69% of 18-35 year old girls in Canada (one of the best country in the world to be a woman in) has a mental illness. This is where you want to go? 🤣🤣🤣

Women love to complain but come to Canada and see how the women are doing. Alone, miserable, 3 dogs, 2 cats and paying for a therapist that's not going to do anything for them. Be careful what you wish for ladies.
