I love history thanks for sharing these. Photos. I love all of them ❤
Some photos from my country. Nice 🙂
PS Photographs from England are booooring – nothing changes 🙂 [Joke!]
Rapa Nui is Easter Island home of the Moai- hundreds of monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people. Chile annexed it in 1888. I didnt know that! learn something new everyday!
Morgan St and Columbia Blvd Hartford CT- thats a sad picture.. so far it's impacted me the most.. I can smell the old building smells and hear the people that frequented the establishments.
Shanklin Village looks as quaint now as then! lovely little place!
I absolutely love all the old photos but why is the music so depressing?
Great Photos👍 Tks❤️
Illinois born & raised here. Cairo, IL is pronounced “KAY-row.” No joke. 😂
Love these old photo/ new photo comparisons!❤
Thank you for history
20:26, they kinda look Led Zeppelin-ish
All did!
Love these!
I love these now and then photos 👌
Really love seeing then and now fantastic 👍🇬🇧
I was in Cairo several years ago. It was like a deserted movie set for an apocalyptic zombie movie. Eerie.
Some of the photos, the WW2 ones are epic. I'm thinking of generations knowing the a desolate town came alive after the war. A picture with war tanks during the war and one with a football pitch or classy town buildings.
I currently live about 15 minutes from where Rocky Point was and visited it every summer growing up back in the 60's and 70's.
Enjoy the photos but not the funeral dirge. One notable thing: in the old photos you see people. In the newer ones you only see cars.
2:54 those were the days when we would walk into stores and buy Memes … the world has gone to shit I tell you.
It’s amazing how most of the past photos look more beautiful even in B+W photos. Says a lot.
Maybe make an attempt to match the camera quality today with the old ones? The new ones look shoddy.
