all right here we go oh that’s Leslie you’re from Bergen County Leslie oh so you had oh you had her much closer ride I’m way down in Essex County oh you’re 40 minutes closer than me huh forever still yeah yeah I keep forgetting how hilly Connecticut is you know you look off the side of the highways it’s definitely put mountains up in there well I was at Roadie for 25 years and then um after all kinds of broken bones on the trails I loved it I said who cares about the broken bones I’m just gonna keep doing it until I can’t fall anymore and you got to get past the first year because you blow all the time and that’s when people quit they quit yep there you go you got to get past that then you’ll learn how to fall and then you learn how to bail I mean you go to full you I know but you got to get hurt it seems well I was 60 when I started all right we don’t heal up when we’re that easy all right two mile mile and a half when we got some some dirt very good I wish okay now I feel at home this is my second ride with Ken he took me up to Newport my first real gravel ride and I found what this is like last Saturday I think yeah oh really oh oh you’re right at Oregon Valley yeah no yeah sure did see you see you head off the bike real early that’s how you want to do it is when you arrested the next day yeah so you get all day to rest the next day foreign Well it can’t be any better Ken well now if you give me that beginning part with that technical stuff if it has that then I’ll be agreeing with you you’re forgetting how how crazy that was Ken all right there were trees in the way I’m just jumping over and that was really a mountain bike trail I told Ken Lefty Ken Leslie I decided I was going to do this ride when I saw all the steep hills were on gravel yeah yeah I love that I don’t want to ride those on the paper I want to be unraveled that’s what changed my question I saw 50 of each so I don’t want to do a ride like that I hate the road [Music] foreign yeah I can imagine [Music] I was watching some of the past Harry robays crazy what goes on there I could never understand that years ago crazy fall After Fall [Music] the motorcycle can’t even make it through trying to take pictures foreign [Music] way up high know where we’re at but it’s like 70 degrees it’s chilly what am I reading let me see the temperature you go I had it on my 75. all right overcast 75 it doesn’t get any better than this [Music] foreign foreign foreign foreign had to be a mile long that was a biggie now that was on loose gravel yeah and then you’re talking [Applause] oh nice nice that was fun yeah that’s fun yeah now you handle it nicely yeah this is pretty loose huh thank you [Music] foreign foreign [Music] yeah that looks comfy that’s why you get out together that’s perfect all right so that’s the sand at least added something hairy to the ride that was a hairy descent really was gnarly I want a little something yeah exactly right that made me you know I went into like you know hanging on mode that was tech people coming down there you’ve been going slow I don’t make it any easier going small it’s still tricky still tricky let’s see [Music] [Music] will that pump anything that right there is there a handle on that to pump it nothing’s coming out it’s all open but everything’s open [Music] that’s how you get it to work yes you got it yes and that’s well water [Music] 59.3 miles I’m making it freaking 60. I -60 come on you got a sensor too I don’t know why you guys don’t have you don’t have your average set where it doesn’t record when you’re going below a certain miles per hour when you do that you can watch like 1500 feet of elevation last week he was like six miles short because he had to heat because he said his don’t record when I’m going below five miles an hour this is where you get a ride a higher average ride right you get a higher average ride because unless you’re moving it doesn’t then you lose all kinds of miles foreign [Music]
