certainly The Stand Out star of racing recently tibon yeah over the last month so obviously tibon is the son of the legendary Cy cross R Sven he does compete in Cy cross himself at a very high level he’s been world champion in the age ranks previously but he’s also been competing a lot more than his dad on the road but he only started his season just over a month or just under a month ago actually at the tour of romendy took his first world tour Victory there he then went onto the tour of Hungary where he took two stage wins on very hilly circuits and the overall this his next race and amazing ride at the final Climb by his teammate vek the czechia champion but Sven nay taking his fifth sorry TBO nay taking his fifth win on the road in the space of I think 29 days it’s quite an incredible strike rate he’s got so far he’s only 21 Nat and I was looking in the Belgian cycling media this morning and even with Tim merer winning yesterday and Walt vard back in Action he is dominating all the headlines right now what do we know about him yeah we know he’s a son of svenz and uh he started this career as a cycle cross Rider and then turned to little Tre but in my opinion he’s already a better Road cyclist than he is a cycle cross Rider oh wow because yeah what he’s doing now is is is unbelievable I must say he’s winning with with such ease his teamate vek he he makes the difference um they ride away with two of them and yeah he he tended to let him win actually in my opinion but yeah beautiful beautiful win by him we don’t want to put him in any kind of a box Robie but I’m just curious for those was coming to his career for the first time what kind of a rider are we looking at what kind of potential does he have at this stage it’s a good question because even he doesn’t know the answer to that because he he’s sort of he’s pretty quick and he’s been asked for well you’re you’re a sprinter do you find yourself to be a sprinter I think his his answer to that was fairly interesting and he got me a bit offside to be honest never happy again there you go no but he he said uh no I’m not a sprinter and don’t lump me in with those guys cuz sprinters are and if said it they’d have to bleep all sorts of maybe I’ll become a cult hero if I said what if I said what two cult Heroes on this show so I won’t say what he said but um thanks but he wasn’t very complimentary he just found what sprinters do nuts dangerous um so he said don’t make me one of those but he’s a bit of everything and all rounder but he’s got the pedigree I mean if the guy was a race horse they would have been clambering over each other to buy him at the yeling sales the pedigree you know with his with his father leave his mom out just obviously she had a hand in it too got you know hidden hidden physical attributes um but the guy’s a superstar in the making he’s only 21 but what he’s shown so far is pretty special only 21 already the 16th most successful Rider this year and his win yesterday takes leadle track up to second in terms of team wins only behind UAE team Emirates who will have all eyes on them once again today of course
