orando tell us how that was for you in qualifying there uh tough as it always is here in Monaco but um exciting like it’s it’s yeah it’s a chaotic track there’s so much going on in your head um and it’s kind of like just the close you can get to crashing almost in every corner is where the limit is and um I was actually ask you I was going to ask you know you you walking here in amongst some fans are all shouting your name there over the barrier but you’ve just been out there driving start out in the zone I know what it feels like yeah what’s that tell the fans what it’s like that the difference the cown after being out there in Monaco qualifying um I mean you feel it on the as soon as you cross the line you know there’s so much adrenaline and then all of a sudden you’re like it’s over um and I think I mean as I think athletes we recover quite quickly but it’s you almost don’t know what’s happening you want to get to that point where you just you’re just out there and you’re just driving and you need to somehow be comfortable with that level of fear and and and risk uh and whoever can be more comfortable with that is probably going to do a better job so it was it was close it was really exciting to watch from our side at least uh super tight only one tenth uh with the drivers separating from where you are in the grid from I think car Carlos back to where Max is um super super tight um and actually good to see McLaren up there mixing it with the Ferraris who looked like they had the dominant car all the way through this I mean like you said all all weekends uh F been very quick quick and I think we knew that like the slow speed they’ve pretty much been the best of the fields the whole year so that was the expectation but to be ahead of two red bulls to be ahead of MK who have also been very strong this weekend um show good signs for us so to be a good at another track like we have been the last few is uh is positive to be as close as we were um but just as much as you know I want to say I could have been two positions higher I also could have been four positions lower if I made that smallest mistake so sometimes you got to just take it and uh you know Oscar’s done a good job so fair play he he put in some good labs and he’s been uh strong all weekend so it’s nice to see him putting it uh putting it up there too looking towards the race for tomorrow then what’s your thoughts from the position on the grid you are P4 uh you got Carlos just in front you got uh George behind and then directly behind you on the grid will be Max V stappen uhhuh uh it seems like you’re right in the thick of the action we are uh but that’s that’s our normality now so it’s it’s lovely um it’s exciting but I’m one place off getting on the podium and of course course that would be uh our goal for tomorrow but we kind of know not A lot’s going to happen so it’s all about the start it’s about strategy and tires and pit stops so that’s going to be where the effort is and it’s going to be interesting with both Ferraris both McLaren in terms of the strategy we heard from charl saying if I we can get Carlos in front of Oscar then maybe Ferrari can do what they want that’s a dangerous position yes yeah so that’s what we can’t let that happen you know we need Oscar to get a good start and at the same time if that can happen then maybe uh we can try use um uh uh our best way to attack the Ferraris you know so as much as I say that there’s a lot of quick cars behind and we got to watch out for them so it’s going to be exciting and hopefully uh we can push them and uh people who make the least mistakes are going to be the one who wins tomorrow thanks very much Lando yeah go get some rest

    1. Oscar is clearly the driver with more raw pace. With a bit more experience and tyre management, he will quickly become the number 1 driver at McLaren – and their relationship will deteriorate.
