The incredible Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the Llangollen canal near to Cefn Mawr and Trefor/Trevor, this amazing and breathtaking aqueduct was constructed by Thomas Telford and William Jessop for the then Ellesmere canal. It carries the canal over the River Dee as it rips its way through the beautiful valley in North Wales.

Been over that numerous times on my boat. Frequently go down just for a walk over as I don’t live that far away. Always an awesome experience.
