welcome to this week’s emn show where we’re going to be talking about the ebike World Series nice and a new bike from Rock VI and we’ve got a bike uh budget bike from Little oo like the supermarket like Walmart yeah oh wow let’s get into it on the emn [Music] show right let’s get into it um first part I’ve got to talk about this Fisher montis um Fisher montis in little oh right okay it sounds like all kinds of crap to start with right but actually it’s actually pretty good what do you think of it well I harshly also thought the same I was like oh dear but then I looked at the specs and it’s check this out right 27.5 Wheels approximately 26 kg Bros drive S motor uh 54 W battery 150 mil travel front and rear price get this 20 600 2,6 2,600 yeah right okay brilliant brilliant I think it’s one of those things of looking at the spec list actually decent Parts Ram there’s Rock shocks on there good bits even if the angles aren’t for you yeah I mean it’s a great way buy I think if you’re in little and you’re buying a mountain bike the angles are not going to be that important right and you’re going to get on that bike and I think you’ll have 90% of the ebike experience in life a deal but I tell you what they are selling out of them so maybe check that deal right now while you’re watching this show how long they’re going to be around but yeah I really thought it was great um something else that just happened which was brilliant we got some great coverage of this um the Ed the first round of the inur World Series in Finale Luger oh finale Lori lagui Italy Italy um some fantastic r ing I really think I don’t know what you think about it but the I think the Ed version of injur so the ebike version right I think it’s better than inury see for a long time I was on the fence but I think now is it’s at the power stage that got power stage is great yeah and I I feel like um Steve was talking to um your man out in Finale last year uh last week and you know it’s obvious that the power stage is going through a period of finding its feet of like what it really is it’s been a few different things over the last few seasons but um basically the same idea but I feel like it this year is going to be the year where you really solidifies the sort of it needs some big moments to happen yeah yeah great and I I sort of feel like the the ethos of vuro fits this better yeah I think it really does I think it just takes you out and the fact that we’re we’re racing up as well as down is important it’s more complete uh and I really enjoyed it some great results um I think just to mention because I think a lot of people maybe not tuning in but maybe they’re newer to tuning in yeah go because they haven’t liked and subscribed yet um because I mean it’s 84 K with 3,600 M of descending is that how far it is 84 oh my God yeah that is a that is a lot of riding um Flo espan she was last year’s champ she took the win but she already knows she’s not got such an easy season not not it was easy last year but she’s got Tracy Mosley on her heels right away Tracy Mosley turned up the day before got on her Trek she nearly won the thing at the end at the end of the week she was only 15 seconds back after all those stages so uh yeah that’s going to be quite exciting to follow especially if Tracy stays on for the rest of the season hope she does not slow I mean it’s awesome to see Tracy back up there so good I mean she was in here well a couple of months ago maybe end of last year just incredible athlete and so good to see at the top interestingly in the men’s Shimano of the motor side because obviously Shimano group sets have won loads of races but they had their first win with Ryan Gilchrist so last year’s winner I think he’s on Yeti now so double Yeti oh of course yeah because Richie Roode won the yeah I think last year I think I was chatting to Stephen and I think we probably got it on video somewhere Steve chatting I know shocker but Shimano sent all their sort of top Tech nerds and engineers and race Engineers to get loads of details to to get the best out of those Motors obviously it’s coming through with the goods now because they’re winning races well they definitely are and the top three Shimano Bosch and Bros so that’s quite cool Daman uton was fifth on a shorter travel or bare R 150 mil yeah so that’s an interesting choice that is interesting very good yeah definitely check out those races when they’re coming up um because they are very exciting uh and I think it’s a really important part of ebiking at the it’s something that’s going to develop new from rot wild is the r EXC um I like the look at this bike this is one to go racing on Owen looks really good so yeah well Steve’s done a really good bike check on it so he’s got loads of deeps there I guess that was a race bike because it’s a bike check and yeah we’ve got some details on pricing which we might not have had last week um so yeah about 10 grand for the pro and then about 12 Grand that’s in in Euro for the ultra model um yeah huge battery 820 w hour 170 m of travel adjustable on the back yeah I think it looks great and in terms of aesthetic when you first look at it I think it looks really good yeah I thought when I first looked at it it it reminded me of the orange I can see how you thought that really big bold strong looking swing arm it’s like the orange that they probably should have made with a four linkage very interesting bike but yeah if you want to go back and check that bike check there’s some great details on that new rock Wild [Music] right some cool places and we’re starting near Mount Rainer in Washington State uh this is way cannedy uh taking a break for lunch with the balls um look at that nice yeah what a looking place look at that mountain in the background so cool I wonder literally M Rainer oh yeah yeah Ria I can’t those tires those tires almost look like they’ve got some kind of camo on them but I I don’t know if they have just been marked by rocks could there a big volcano near there I think that might be it in the backg it’s huge could be uh very very cool now next up we have got a bank holiday Monday loop from Kevin web uh peren to S Agnes in cornall lovely part of the world white yeah very nice and a white very nice bikes too yeah that is is it okay that’s awesome look at that lovely very Co hit the mark there yeah no that’s money what about this one first time ride awesome bike uh from ARA Zam and he is in Mexico my goodness me shivers look at that that is awesome I think it’s a uh YT decoy yeah nice very lovely uh and lastly this week in cool places in the azors volcano hey volcano link from start to finish Mor dealino um let’s have a look oh yeah wow lovely lovely actually that’s not as impressive I thought it was going to be when when when we said the volcano uh but they are I guess is that like a lake in the top of the volcano yeah I feel like it is it kind of impressive Lake yeah that’s kind of impressive um it is it could be boiling could go off look where bikes take you as your bike taken you to a cool place has it ever taken you to a cool place where I am now which is probably the coolest place I’ve ever so far in my life well done if you’ve got a cool place uh and you want to get involved in the show then head down to the description there’s a link there and you can go to the uploader send us something in right time for some tech talk with Steve in Garder interrupting the emn show for a bit of news this is news which was super last minute at Rivas elgard we didn’t manage to get it in one of the show videos but I think it’s information you guys need to know now nerona Italian e- bike brand uh the batch capacity and this is done in collaboration with bmz 720 8 70 ws and also the smaller 620 sorry 630 W batteries um you might be thinking okay battery size the central part of this bike is the ascol Ultra motor c90a now ascol uh they make their Motors in uh Venza which is the home of such companies as da here’s the motor right here 2.9 kilos um around about the same as say a Bosch CX Motors about 2.8 kilos uh the big difference with this is it’s 11 10 newm uh there’s four modes in it sorry five modes you’ve got Eco tour trail sport and boost now in all the lower power modes up to up to boost it’s 90 newm but boost gives you 110 newm um key thing about that though is the peak power um 1200 wat peak in boost and 900 Watts peak in all the other modes that is a very significant uh amount of power from this motor uh and terms water water protections protect up to ip65 uh a little bit of information about asol then they are they’re not new to electronics and Motors they actually make Motors and pumps for washing machines they’re in the scooter business they’ve been going for over 45 years uh but if I could just kind of get closer to the camera to see the quality of this motor it really is up there you can tell it’s a proper piece of Kit so a bit of exciting news there from Venza in Italy look forward to seeing and actually riding this bike in the not too distant future now a central requirement to a great e-bike wheel Set uh apart from the fact that they should go round and round is actually quick engagement when you’re tackling super technical climbs where the terrain’s ever changing and you need to make decisions on the hoof to get up over some rocks or some Roots then the ability to get the power down quickly is absolutely essential you might have seen it with the video we did recently with Chris akri where he goes to places on e- mountain bike that no other person can uh industry 9 are partner on emn uh and with Nathan from industry 9 who’s going to tell us actually about the key part of that process which is the Hub right yes our H I want to give it to you yeah okay our Hydra Hub which has 690 points of Engagement which you can see here in our free fidget spinner as we call it so we have six Paws it’s 115 to dri ring and it’s singlephase so it starts with one paw engaging and the more Force you put on the system it’ll engage all six Paws and that’s the 690 points of Engagement this can be had as a hub set to build with your favorite rim or it can be had as one of our system Wheel sets with our alloy spokes which make a very nice rigid laterally wheel that will help you track where you want to go and not let the bike take you where it wants to go be beautifully put beautifully put actually I learned something there thank you Steve great better Tech God is great is it I need to get out though let’s do some bike Vault uh starting off with Daniel’s Trek rail like that a lot this is a good start can I bring well done y Yang’s Mountain bik Park in Victoria this one from Ricky oh love the colorway on this track also from Australia yeah I down under super nice or a nice a nice super nice super nice yeah s great okay next up we have got a lovely Cannon it’s definitely a super nice yeah that is coming in from Sean well done Sean for sending in that very nice yeah Kent and lastly from Phil oh wow look at that wow Uno Uno boys booze Uno cool that’s what it is I like it a lot I like it a lot and definitely a super nice some great bikes this week yeah if you’ve got more Stu send them in our uploader Works exceedingly well it’s in the description box below so go wild send us all your bikes I’d like more of those that’d be great definitely definitely right let’s do some of our getting social seeing what we’ve been looking at on the social channels well it was all about Ed really this week what um L lampier guys here looking very very cool in very rapid but what I really liked is the fact that well you’d imagine be rapid down the hill yes but on that power climb absolutely nailing it nailing it um also Paul Tara is doing a very technical clim yeah that’s fulltech yeah just you know Paul TZ uh family history very very good in Trials obviously and uh he’s amazing on a motorcycle but he’s doing some great ebiking all right there you go I I just saw him as a sick Riders there we go yeah very good um um and then more ed yeah from Bosch love it which is really good little Roundup so what a week it’s been for ebiking with that uro World Series kicking off um amazing to have like a World Cup series for ebiking it’s making a difference it’s really good pushing the sport forward I think um join us next week on the emn show but make sure you look out for some videos on the channel of course make sure you like And subscribe and we’ll see you next week

    1. Bit of a long shot.thinking of buying a second hand levo comp..is there a way to check it’s not nicked.serial number check or something. Little worried of getting scammed

    2. Amazing how Jose Borges never gets a mention even when he comes second or wins races. But he is there and he is taking podiums so swalow that cookie.

    3. …or just wait for a big sale. I bought a Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 625 + head and tail light + carrier and bottle, for just over 2.6k euros too. Was going for a stand too, but they didn't have any (said they'd get them in a couple weeks). Bigger battery, better motor (Bosch Performance CX), better quality components. Normally over here (Croatia), it went for 3.1k, but the shop had a big sale going, and I pounced on it. Was lucky to get the last one they had in stock.

    4. I could understand the appeal of a Lidl ebike if it had a Bafang motor where you can get service items and parts relatively easy to fix yourself but Brose have a poor record on reliability and its highly proprietary. Where do you take your Lidl bike in 2 years when the warranty is finished and 2 of the internal bearings need replacing etc. Surely products that are highly proprietary need proper support channels. Specialized had a huge recall on Brose motor ebikes with a huge amount of early failures including some reported first ride failures.

    5. What Martin said! 💪🏼
Yes, the power stage of the e-EDR makes the race not only more interesting than the acoustic EDR , but also makes it more of a complete all around display of talent , strength and strategy!

    6. My trek rail 9.8 xt 2022 have 6500 km and working great. Dont ever buy the crap bikes You see on the embn channel. Only buy the main brands in the market. No shit.

    7. the lidl bike will be fine for most riders that are not going to be doing Kamakazi downhills and components can always be upgraded later .
however , Lidl in Germany is synonymous with lesser quality by some . For instance , my Kangal dog loved butter on her food , but she would only eat first class butter from Edeka .we tried Lidl butter and she gave us a look like ," WTF l did you really think i couldn't tell the difference ?"
