Sunday 19th May 2024.
Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride ( DGR ) .We started of the day at the Pit Stop in Bangor where we meet up with our friends Marty, Henry and Stephen. After a tasty breakfast we headed up to the Cathedral Gardens, Belfast.
Arrived early around 10.30am (ish) to meet old and new friends and as always great fun to interview unexpected victims. Marty had an arresting time and met PC Hardy. After a brief safety talk from the organisers we headed to the 1st stop at Stranmillis carpark for an hour to chat and look around the amazing bikes. After soaking up the sun we headed off to Stormont in Belfast for a group photograph and to finish the ride out.
We had amazing day, great fun, and most imporantly funds raised for a great cause for male cancer charities, particuarilly prostate cancer and mental health. There were around 235 bikes on the day participating and over £17k raised so far. This was our second year being part of the Belfast DGR 2024. Thanks for watching this video! Excellent video. What a great day we all had. I can't seem to find the "Classic Threads" photographer though, which is unfortunate as I know he got some great ones of me and my two sons and Dad.
