On this day, we left from Postojna and arrived in Ljubljana, even though this was not our initial plan. We visited Planina cave, also known as the "Little Castle Cave". It is located near the famous Ravbar Tower. The cave is almost seven kilometers long and believed to be the largest water cave in Slovenia. When the water level is low, it can be visited also by boat. Here we talked with two girls from Ljubljana and borrowed them our headlights 🙂 Then we visited some old baroque castle from XVII Century. It was destroyed by fire at the end of World War Two in 1944 and never rebuilt. We’ve met a lovely Dutch couple. They were traveling all over Europe in a camper with their dog. They build it from scratch, including the electrical part, which was then revised by an authorized electrician. A very nice project. They told us a bit about their experiences and show it to us 🙂 The road to Ljubljana was wonderful, through beautiful villages, with a lot of horses, cows and goats. We had a lovely weather. These small villages are perfect. From my point of view. I could live here all my life 🙂 We are on a bike path, near the highway. I think we still have around 10-15 km to Ljubljana. The road is starting to get crowded. The area is still very beautiful. But all these cars kind of ruins our mood. In Ljubliana, after we found accomodation, we bought some food, we ate and then we took our bikes to explore the city 🙂 We visited some bridges, the main square and the old town. We climbed at the castle and we had a lovely city view.
