I haven’t ridden this bike, Giant Trance Advanced, in a few weeks as I’ve been riding my new HT. I had a good pedal strike riding it hard in Bentonville a few weeks ago. When it happened I didn’t think nothing of it, and just planned on getting a good set of pedals after I got back home. Anyway, I continued to ride that day and the next be. There was no clicking noises.
So today, I was doing some preventative maintenance on the bikes. I had the Giant up to lube the chain, wipe it down, check it over, etc. When I pedaled it NOT under load it did not make these noise. When I got on it though…it makes this awful clicking noise. It’s kind of hard to tell in the video, but it’s when I pedal the right side.
Just wondering what y’all think it could be? I don’t have many specialty bike tools, but a decent amount of general tools (wrenches, Allen kegs, screwdrivers, power tools, etc.). I need to fix what whatever this is, so I’m trying to narrow it down. If I can’t though, I’ll take it to my trusted LBS.
Anyway, thanks for your time. Much appreciated.

I wish I could clean up the post for grammar, but alas, I cannot. Thanks again if you take the time to respond. I’ll look the comments over tomorrow.
Just glad I have another bike to ride this weekend as the rain has finally let up a bit.
How new is your front chainring and is it but any chance a OneUp?
Chain guide maybe?
It would be helpful if you could give more info on where it’s coming from. I know it’s hard to tell when riding but either knowing middle or back of the bike would narrow it down.
