[Music] oh could be the day for Caleb Yan to Sprint all the way to the line in search of Victory alinder King they’ve been pushed away from the front now by Julian Al Philip but it’s looking over the shoulder from the sudal quickstep men because they cannot see Tim mle he’s back behind the team of Alpa inding and waiting for their moment 5K to go bit early to be on the front Christopher Hamilton just brought up tobas Lun but he couldn’t bring him all the way to the front he’s dropped him off in there in the mix he’s going to have to fend for himself aini little further back this now is Fonda up there it’s elbows only everywhere there’s not much room at all py elbowing Caleb bu in there and I think it might have been py that Jonathan Milan was pointing the finger at a while ago he gets in there he’s Rough and Ready py and he’s he’s not a pure Sprinter but he’ll throw himself at it he’s thrown himself onto the wheel of gine Thomas right now who’s at the front and being kept at the front right now this is 4.4 km to go trying to move up as they can Le Trek they’re a long long way behind down there this is a big move now for Milan 4.2 km to go and they know that this is a pinch Point coming up Shan Kelly they have to be at the front that’s conon alongside him this is where it Narrows that really shows course knowledge yes while you can see there the pinch point that Adam was talking about a very very important one you have to be in the top places here and all through safely fourks to go Riders on the outskirts of pavine Northeast caly the the venet are one of the cycling homes of a cycling mad Nation but it’s plenty of obstacles for these Riders as they’re on the way to the beautiful Central Square of PR de la Val there’s Riders everywhere though chud chuda Pro cycling in those black jerseys red helmets moving up every kilometer or two we have a roundabout or a pinch point and you can tell when they’re getting the call when they’re moving it’s trentin now who brings them to the front all starting a mass towards the front 3 and 1/2k to go and I just saw the first ride of alpus in he got up to Max Walo so I’ll just push in here Max Walo 2 M 90 kilo he ain’t pushing in on him he kept moving towards the front but they’re dragging Caden Groves up to the head of the field now alinder Kik anyel going to disappear from the front it was Gana doing a great job with swift to keep Thomas there coming to three k to go M on the right hand side as we look at it now this is ala falip on the left and side going up to that magic number now 3 km to go Banner will be approaching that is it to anybody through here now with any incident or accident gets the same time in the general classification the lacks of pachan and Company can be out of the way if they want to be out the way for now you can see Milan moving up onto the wheel of p and a couple of riders from group F Al AIP at the front but the rest of his team f leberg on the left hand side Robbie and Med lead further back yeah van leberg on the wheel of the RS from an Mar they swing across and shut everybody down to the barriers so as the road slings if you’re on the wrong side you’re on the brakes you’re losing positions and vital energy that you want to save for the Sprint little Trek in the Middle yasper sturing St to push his way in conson on his wheel so they’re set up now for Jonathan Milan they are all in order and ready for takeoff and Caleb Yan is on the wheel of Milan for now mtis Michels a little further back than his teammate he’s just waiting with Kaden Gro but the experience shown of Mato trentin coming to 2 km to go this is such a nervy buildup well this is a real big one here and we can see little TR just waiting in the middle there but Tren you know want to position his man here and you know this is all about being there but not giving too much because with 2 kilm to go you have to be able to continue with your Sprinter to that point where we go where we turn at least just before the kilometer Mark the left hander and drop him off Milan moved out to the right now by his team they threatened to get shut in when group armor came across wiggle their way out and just pushing back towards the front an El kosi just edging in on Caleb bu on the wheel of Jonathan M as Tor are now in control for Alberto Dai look on the left as we look at it blue and white this is f Leo doing a big job to keep medle up towards the front there’s not too many left to lead their sprinters out at the minute Caleb bu is in a better position but he’s having to hit the win a little himself up there to his Michels on the right you can see Pascal Lon he’s at home today he’s going to have a go why not through the center Milan you can spot him a mile off there’s volid as well but he’s the man he’s supposed to be leading out is on the left as we look at it coming up to a kilometer to go now when we get through it’s a left turn coming up Robbie sharp left turn everyone diving in and we’ve got dry roads that is a godsend think as they come through chuda in control Dai in second wheel gabia a little further down he has chimol with him coming up to 700 met to go now big right turn coming up look at how it narrows it squeezes it squashes they know they’re going right there’s fadv and it’s D now on the wheel of conon con’s on the radio though and asking whereat Milan is answer is he’s off yes he’s five six wheels back he’s shaking his head he’s not happy Here’s the final right turn there is turns who takes it kon’s on the wheel and Milan’s going to have to do it himself if he moves up now they still lead him out they look around for him he’s not there they wait they watch the Speed is knocked off There’s an opportunity to come from behind there is Milan in the purple keep your eyes now on Groves D is there as well an opportunity for but look at Al Dy he’s in a perfect position on the right hand side in the black here’s man on the left hand side they all go to the line Milan through the center though Milan through the center on the left though it’s man who takes the win Tim M who takes the second win for his team in the Sprints at this Jeter five or six of them across the road my oh my that was chaotic

  1. I hate Robbie McEwen's as a commentator, wish he would just give it away, would make watching cycling so much better if he did. They sacked him in Australia why the hell did Eurosport bring him in???????

  3. I love rewatching sprint finish video to isolate on various riders. You really learn about how to teach sprint tactics. In my younger days I was a lead out man for a team in SoCal who did battle with teams like 7-Eleven, so I have my scars and stories! In this case, it’s easy to isolate Milan—he’s huge and wears the Ciclamino. He does a great job to navigate to the front solo (he chooses the rail) but better to watch earlier how he LOST his lead out. But isolate Merlier and you’ll see some extraordinary work—he has a white helmet with black stripe down the middle. He pushes a HUGE gear in the finale and stays sheltered until he makes his move up his right, just nipping a closing Milan. Timing is everything, but navigating the final kilometer and the last straight is so hectic and filled with power, speed, and drama for each rider. Pick ANY rider in the top five and isolate on him. Crazy way to make a living! Hat’s off to those guys. 😅

  4. Very exciting race😮😮😮 let's remind that another water bomb was just behind the riders😮😮😮 yesterday few miles nearby, there were heavy rains and ice storms…today the nasty clouds were on mountain peaks. .. lucky riders, this time. Pogacar with no competitor is not much fun…he had to slow down and give a reason the other riders try to compete😢😢😢well, who knows, maybe tomorrow.. another day

  5. This Milan was lost in the forest till he gets the fire to pull the whole dam thing in pieces,…. what is het having a spirit to win😆💫💙💙💯🙏

  6. Not allowing Lanterne Rouge access to the footage is one thing, but why serve up trash for highlights instead?

At least the bike racing is good

  7. What a brilliant finish! You can see Milan lose touch with his lead out at around 4:45. Maybe he didn't want to spend the energy to push up, but well played to the other teams edging him out of that sprint. He would have had it tied up otherwise! ❤ the Giro!
