Okay, so I've had 2 rides on it already, so technically it's past new bike day, but close enough!
I'd been riding my previous road/gravel rig for 14 years, and decided it was time for an upgrade.
Had to do some customization right off the hop, and I have a few other things yet to add – some Wolftooth headset spacers, bottle cage bolts, seatpost clamp and rear axle tool in red which showed up today, and a Brooks C17 carved saddle in petrol blue with custom red rivets from Ride Crivets.
I am absolutely in love with the colour of this bike… the deep aquatic is frickin' awesome. Something that was a neat surprise- the trek logo on the downtube is actually clear over carbon, not a decal. It looks sexy as hell.

I have my first ever gravel race event this saturday (May 25) which is a 65km mix of light gravel path, singletrack in the woods, and forestry service roads. Aiming for 3.5-4hr finish time… we'll see how it goes!!
