[Music] how was that race beautiful yeah nice weather yeah make [Applause] some all right so we we’re here in Poland and this is wi TV and it’s been a hell of a race let’s go and see what went [Music] down all right Dana bomb you had to go down in probably the worst conditions how was it yeah it was it was not too bad but yeah the mud definitely uh made it slick in the hard packs and just couldn’t really see too much but uh yeah smooth run to be fair and yeah I’m stoked I could get a p and uh Big Tool Moss your teammate he kind of gave it to you he blew out the last corner and let you have that Podium I know thanks but uh we’ll get a double P soon hopefully so yeah stoked working on it but uh yeah was it hard to uh approached the race after that rain came down uh yeah I definitely was a bit scared but I was lucky I’m lucky I had that uh wet practice for the first day so I kind of had a feeling what it was going to be like but uh yeah I mean race run nerves are always high when get the rain coming but uh no I’m stoked and stoked to have a clean run and first Podium for you first Podium yeah hopefully more to come yeah all right well keep it going and uh good job to the pivot team yeah sweet cheers thank you the men that took on the gypsies Nico malali uh hell of a past couple weeks for you but another win yeah so stoked for ASA both of his runs last week and here he looked like such a veteran on the bike obviously with Juniors you see a lot of kids with Wild Runs they’re throwing everything they have at it but I’m really impressed how well he’s able to just ride compost in his race runs and he comes from a place where it doesn’t really Rain like this he’s from Colorado you don’t ride mud a lot yeah you’ve seen it from Aaron too you know got guys that don’t ride mud they they can it they can do it it’s I don’t know where they get it from but this what every few years there’s someone like that and they just come out and dominate and Sam Hill as well he was probably from a dry Place dominated a lot of wet races yeah for sure so yeah super proud of him hopefully we can keep the momentum going and uh yeah how was the last couple weeks you had to fly back to the US to get bikes together it yeah it was it was tough uh we got all our stuff stolen so um all our race bikes and warm-up bikes luckily I was able to fly home get enough spares to build us each a new race bike and we even have a spare so yeah we’re kind of on our on our reserves now the second race so hopefully um yeah we we’ve got so much support from our sponsors and other teams willing to help so it’s really nice to see the industry come together and I I can’t say thank you enough to everybody who’s helped us out yeah what a sport it is it is I’m glad to be a part of it and uh you had you had to go into the uh junkyard and try and take on the gypsies get the bikes back so you know where they are I followed an air tag to a scrapyard where it was showing that uh the bikes might be but uh we had an air tag in a toolbox and I went went there it’s it was you know you have this idea that you’re going to go there you’re going to get your stuff back you’re going to take them on and then you get there and you realized you’re probably just going to get killed so I uh I looked the guy in the eye that I thought did it and asked him if he knew where my [ __ ] was and he told me I better leave and never come back or I might get hurt so it wasn’t much I could do I don’t think there was any outcome where I was leaving there with the bikes yeah yeah unless I had a bigger Squad than him probably better off to get hurt crashing your bike than trying to take on some uh sketchy guys yeah I mean we’re moving forward yeah and uh a win probably makes it all pay off all the effort the past couple weeks to get those bikes going again yeah I mean even the win at Fort William like we were on such a high after seeing Ace’s performance that yeah my head was down to just get everything we needed and uh that was more important than the bikes G St all right well good job and uh yeah great effort mate thank you win well done all right he you put it all on the line in those bottom woods and it paid off yeah I’m actually surprised um that I pulled it back because I thought it was really slow in the woods CU like before that big drop into the corner I like slow down I was like oh my God I’m going to die and then I didn’t die and I was like oh my God I’m fine um but yeah it was a fun fun ride enjoyed it uh loose holy yeah yeah and and two from two now you got to be pretty happy with that yeah I’m much just like surprised didn’t even expect it I was like oh ell was so quick and I was like okay I’m really scared I’m just going to like maybe scrape a third and then I crossed the line and I was like in first I was like huh is um is it broken and then your time was broken yeah and then um yeah it was okay it was like okay um I’ve won yeah I was like so surprised well you got to be happy and enjoy that one and then on to Leo going next it could be another wet one so probably play in your favor as well yeah we’ll see we’ll see how that one goes I’m excited I heard it’s a little bit like this and just depends on the weather so I’m excited Another World Cup yeah and the leader Jersey on too so that must be nice yep another another one did you expect that coming into your first year uh no I didn’t even expect to like qualify to be honest I was like okay these girls are so fast I’m just going to like just going to try my best and then the first one I was like okay it was just a home race maybe that’s like why and then here I’m just like huh maybe maybe it wasn’t just the home race maybe I’m maybe I am quite quick but um yeah well maybe you are you you’ve you’ve shown us now two two races from two and two wins so uh yeah well done yeah thank you nice work keep up the good work yeah thank you go and enjoy it yeah I will cheers all right uh big big tool Moss uh it all went down in that last corner I know it was pretty unfortunate but I was on Pace came down and just blew it in the last corner but I don’t know speed’s there so I’m stoked the rider before you Mike Hooter he blew the whole rush out probably yeah I heard he uh had a little bit of a hugi and blew that out so I mean that’s racing but yeah but you got to be you got to be happy you’re on the pace and uh in the mix yeah yeah I’m on Pace ready for it ready for Leo gain so just keep building and uh yeah St for it and expectations for Bernie this afternoon P I want a p from him you want a p no pressure Bernie you got to get a Podium yeah yeah I got he’s got it all right he’s got you yeah yeah yeah all right Podium for Bernie all right cheers mate well done all right ace of a two from two mate bloody good ride thank you yeah it was gnarly yeah how was it to um have to drop in in those conditions oh my god I’ve never done it before like I was looking out of the gate it was raining and I was just like well I just just going to have to let it rip and uh see what happens yeah do you ride in the rain much no never I think I’ve done One race before in the rain really One race in the rain yeah yeah I riding in the the dry like super dry conditions of drao is honestly kind of similar it’s just you don’t get wet but yeah yeah it’s bit of a cleanup after but luckily with a team you don’t have to do that for sure yeah it’s insane they put the motor on 5 minutes before my run cuz it was downpouring and then we just went oh so you put a mud to on yeah it was we had both drives and then Ono switched the to the mutter and then we went yeah and it was good it was hooking up yeah it was perfect good decision yeah and yeah you made really no big mistakes in that run yeah except for this last Corner yeah it just felt like it to me maybe it didn’t look that much but I was like I was just sliding almost almost Let It Go but the other guy took it out just after you took the whole ride out I think oh really yeah he end up off the side but um you managed it pretty well yeah thank you yeah you got to be happy to to have two wins already and H keep a strangle hold on that leaders jersey mate oh yeah I’m going to definitely try thank you and how are you going to celebrate this one how do you celebrate you you eat some ice cream or what do you do Martin’s got some pizzas for us just’s go eat some pizza yeah maybe play some video games I don’t know eat pizzas and play video games that’s the secret no but yeah well it paid you probably haven’t done that much training coming into the season cuz you’re injured yeah all I was doing before for William was eating pizza and playing video games so that’s the secret as as you heard it here first well done thank you cheers mate so how do we say it AIS Aris I I’ve always said Aris but it’s Aris so we’ got to do it correctly yeah Aris fromis second not quite where you wanted to be but um it was all good until that last steep yeah they like exit out before the last two drops I just got stuck in the corner yeah and then that buggers just speed for the last two drops yeah that was that and then he just sent that part as well so yeah she was she was really insane yeah like Loose as a Goose down the whole run and made it work so real happy for her that was so cool but uh you got to be happy on the podium anyway and uh build from that yeah totally it brings back a bit of confidence I mean last well two weeks ago was a bit sad not to be on the podium um but yeah no it’s good it’s good yeah well the speed’s there anyway yeah totally no I felt really good few mistakes but mostly really good run and yeah felt good a weekend so yeah well good job second place got to be happy and then to Leo gang next another good one yeah no I really like that track last year I made a big mistake on my race run and crashed but other than that like the track is mean as so excited to head back for that and learning as you go less less crashes now yeah totally um only one little one in practice this week um and none at for William so yeah really feeling yeah good in the bike who’s who’s helping you with the guidance the team or other other Riders mostly my oldest brother really yeah um he’s kind of been behind all my writing really him my other brother as well been um but yeah lately Finn has been helping a lot so you speak to him quite a bit and he gives you advice yeah always Before the Race and after yeah I’ve seen you on the phone to him before yeah yeah yeah he so and well shout out to Finn then uh the man behind the scenes on the phone bro yeah I love you well good to have a good big brother right yeah [ __ ] yeah and it’s cool to see so many kiwis over here doing well as well yeah totally that awesome yeah good job nice work thank you st cheers oh no yay do you like interviews she’s no your one’s always good are they all right thank you yeah and H Sasha third place you happy with that I am happy it was a really good run just one little mistake but other than that I like this place I like the track I’m happy yeah yeah Poland’s delivered so far probably one of the best new venues we’ve been to I’d say so it was really good at the start um and then it poured down but with the changes of the track and how it’s rutted in I’d say it’s one of my favorites yeah it became more a track for the kiwis definitely we loved the lomy steps and and all the blowing out stuff it’s ex real New Zealand track perfect for us yeah and uh AIS and uh second as well yeah I’m happy for her um obviously didn’t have a too well r last weekend with the weekend um but yeah she’s happy and I’m happy which is cool new zealanders are up there yeah yeah it’s good and Allie didn’t deliver in the race but dominated in the qualifying oh for sure she really put down a time I think it was second in Elite woman really which is really um really impressive um but yeah tough luck for her at the race at the end I guess but yeah we should be you got to be happy to stand on the podium in end of the weekend anyway of course always happy and how has it been adapting to being in like a big team like this um I think only ever positives I’ve never received this much support in my life so it’s going to be new and I don’t know how much I can ask for but I’m happy to be here and they’re the best all right well good job and uh nice work on the third thank you very much cheers see you all right Danny p uh you’re a bit nervous up there mate you spewed up in the stock yeah I know I don’t know I was in the zone and then the stomach just went had to go behind the tent and speed up and then get back in the gate and go so perfect race breath I mean couldn’t ask for much more got rid of got rid of your breakfast yeah I was just lening up a bit yeah I didn’t want to be too heavy for your the grease I want to float over it so I mean tactical play and you were our Privateer this week um what was the biggest benefit with from the support I mean I think it just took the pressure off a lot like I was able to chill out a lot more uh like knowing I had everything sorted didn’t have to worry about any of the logistics way so I was a lot like less nervous the whole weekend so yeah it was really good and you had a good time with the team yeah I mean me and Luke you know two and three it was pretty sick I mean yeah and he just pet me yeah only just so it was pretty sick yeah you got to be happy to back up that um third place in for with him with a seven yeah I wanted to prove myself I wanted to know I could do it anywhere else like not just yeah so yeah I think I’ve done pretty well there yeah all right well well done and uh yeah don’t spew up in the start gate at the next one you don’t have to get so nervous but uh yeah I don’t know it went pretty well there so so you reckon that’s the secret might be the tactic yeah just lien up before the race yeah yeah get rid of a better weight if it’s wet yeah and then go for it yeah yeah does a job yeah all right well well done mate thank you very much cheers all right Jess uh on the podium you got to be happy with that one yeah I’m pretty happy especially after Fort Williams so I made it past 6 seconds in the track so yeah bloody good week I think got some Redemption come down in a clean run on in probably slightly tough conditions yeah I think at the top I was kind of I was stressing because I wasn’t sure if I should put the wet Tire or the dry Tire on and uh I think a few of the other girls were doing the same thing so yeah went with the dry Tire it was still a little bit slick but I think I was I’m happy with that choice so yeah and Valle Valle laid it down in the end so she was pushing on uh yeah she was pushing I think I feel like I had more to give but I think I was a bit worried to do the same thing and uh I think I’d rather finish the race get some points and try and be good in the overall so yeah first Podium with the new team you got to be stoked yeah really stoked I mean yeah team’s great and uh yeah I mean I couldn’t be happier so yeah all right well done putting New Zealand on the podium just GLW it well done yeah now we got to see Loy yeah locky needs to back it up now we we need two kiwis on the podium today come on locky yeah come on Loy no pressure yeah sorry no pressure all right good job thank you for you all right Ethan just missing the top 10 but happy with the right yeah like what was it like 2,000 or something over the top yeah I’m happy um just need to start that top split out man like I don’t know what I’m doing but 1.3 seconds in 40 seconds it’s like like 4 chicken yeah I was like so far off at the [Music] [Applause] top but uh yeah I just need to sort the to SP out um and then we’ll be good like yeah the rest of the Run was prend happy to happy to be back in the mix after missing out at B William yeah B William was like heart-wrenching it was uh after full winter of training real hard and feeling real good on the bike of four bill was like coming here get a solid result get some points and uh go into Leo gang with a bit more confidence all right we’ll ronin’s book maybe not too much but no no cuz he yeah it t it takes a while to get he’s taken him a while to get to where he is as well you know like he’s been on the ground a few times as well yeah but that was solid run from himself and I’m stoked for him as well yeah no great to see and it’s great to see someone get their first win yeah yeah always good always good although just in there could setting this one up thank you very much man cheers yeah very good cheers cheers all right Phil so the um you guys were actually the pole Factory racing team to begin with yeah and uh yeah what happened uh well two weeks before the first round we got an announcement from po to tell us that they were going into receivership um none of the bills which we had accured from testing would be paid and the Riders were left without a ride for the year it was pretty horrendous situation and then you had to take it out of your own pocket to fund it yeah with with with such a short period of time before the first race it was an impossible task for the Riders to be able to find themselves a new ride you know even get a bike and and make an appearance here and like the nature of this chionship is that you need to score points to be able to get into it for The Following season so really it’s pretty much suicide for their career so they worked so hard for me for the whole of winter that um I took it upon myself to see what I could do um I’ve basically pulled it together to do the first two rounds out of my own pocket which as much as I could stretch to yeah um and then after that we put together a go page yeah um we’ve had an amazing response um £8,000 has been raised and some other exterior sponsors have come in which has given us enough funding to take take it to the next two rounds so we will be at Le gang and we’ll be at vder so and then and then you got um Dan all the way to the final this weekend yeah well Dan’s um a very talented young Rider as his on the but he’s been showing enormous promise working really hard um now he’s got a bike underneath him which will allow him to fulfill his potential he’s actually been getting places so it’s exciting times with Dan yeah you got to be pretty happy to pay it out of your own pocket and get him to a mate you got to be proud I’m absolutely over the moon this is the best result for my team that’s the best result that AP bicycle has ever achieved and it’s the best result that Dan has had since the new setup and format of the uh the World Cup so we we we normally do the Privateer award but we’re just going to donate 500 to uh your program to try and keep it going you know mate that’s absolutely amazing thank you so much so i’ say thank you guys I’d say Phil Phil was not quite a privateer but he’s the Privateer of the week this week and uh yeah so we donated to him for keeping people like Dan and Onie racing thank you so much it makes such a difference to these young talented Riders Futures so mate thank you so much no no it’s awesome to see and I I enjoy seeing the little guys beat the big guys you thank you uh we love a David and goli live story don’t we nothing better and I hope that we don’t lose that in the spot no I hope so as well keep watching L gang is going to be good On’s good there I’m sure Dan’s going to be riding on a crest of a wave keep watching and see what we can do well done mate thank but I you know this track is so tight like to see like the men’s top 15 I think is like 3.7 seconds like it’s crazy to be 2.7 back and ended up where I was cuz in Fort William if you’re 2.7 you’re still on the podium so it’s uh it’s a little frustrating but you know it’s a new track got to learn from it and uh I think take it to the next one Leo gang’s something somewhere I’ve been good before so hopefully I can be good again the level of the sports pretty crazy no it’s really crazy to see like how many guys in the top 15 have one World Cups in The Last 5 Years is shocking like it’s crazy like you can name I think every single guy in the podium today has won a World Cup so it’s crazy to see where the sport is and seeing like the kind of parody we have where it’s like it’s not the same winner every single time and it’s just like the consistency really pays off so I’m really happy to have not crashed and I think it’s still good for points I think I’m six overall maybe 30 points out of second like it’s so crazy how tight it is so going forward is just take it Race by race and uh you know keep riding my bike try take it to LY and Leo gang then I would like to I mean I’d like to take it to everybody but he really needs it to be taken to him so so you try and give it to him there yeah I’ll just try and ride as well as I can and hopefully that just uh works out like it usually does I guess W normally that’s what happens and uh yeah normally up on their box yeah exactly I hope so yeah good luck and we’ll see you in later game so much appreciate it cheers all right Loris uh much the weather changed so actually weather was primed today but yeah it was insane the track just cut up beautifully and you just you could go as fast as you want but then also you could crash so easily so it was a cool mix and it was kind of like Leo G I thought but yeah sick really and and to put this new team on the podium on the on the top step of the podium and and only the second race no I had a problem on the bike so I was like oh well um that’s that you had to carry it down almost yeah I rode super slow down and then uh it’s all good like I it was from the my first run crash yeah so it was my my fault but uh we didn’t see it in time and so my second run was pretty mellow nothing special and I was like ah I needed that run to be kind of like okay I can push this this this so I was a bit in the blur today but I I didn’t do so bad no it worked out pretty pretty good yeah bottom I gained time on running yeah which was well you lost it the other day know bit time exactly and I think I lost the race in my second split which was I felt okay yeah but you know those super fast uh s’s they were dead and I Tred to inside them but I wasn’t carrying a really good speed so I think that’s where I my second my second speit was not so good yeah but it is what it is you know like it’s okay and you yeah uh you gave um Loy big props on his run he was putting putting it to you I think Loy could have won today yeah time so I was uh I was hyped to see him right like this yeah it’s a kid that I saw maybe eight years ago in kid yeah tiny dreadlocks with his whole family always a cast somewhere yeah on the forehead or whatever and even last year he wasn’t toy with injuries and stuff and then he’s able to come out and R like this I was so proud of him yeah and he’s one of the cool kids and I always think he doesn’t like me really because it’s too cool you know yeah yeah yeah but it’s actually like he was like ah no I really like you I was ah [ __ ] yeah boy and um really like this kid like I’ve been pushing to have him have him on my team for a while yeah and we’ve been keeping an eye on him and I’m very happy that now he’s proving that I was right about him yeah yeah so hopefully one day we get to be teammate but it’s [ __ ] amazing and he was and he crashing like the easy corner just that section wasn’t really doing any justice to the place or anything so it was a scored zero points in semis which is a big run for points you know like it was a bit of a shame but today the the main boys didn’t deliver as well like Troy yeah uh Finn like it was so easy to get like the wrong thing you know so even half a second really ruined your day bro like there’s like 2.7 or eight I think there’s like four boys so like from mamori I think it’s really really tight so I’m happy like it’s good in my playing in my favor but I kind of wish I would have got the win again it would have been like first one1 would have been insane but I can’t be too greedy and uh it’s good hard mentally this morning I was like okay um I’m I’m I’m protected yeah and for the fun and everyone I need to do a good run mhm so this morning first run I I tried to push really hard yeah directly and I think it’s it’s working really good because like fourth place today is insane first Podium of the year yeah honestly I’m really stocked yeah and the pressure dropped off dropped off so now you can enjoy a little bit more yeah sure yeah because when you finished 37 and you used to be in the podium it’s probably a little bit stressful uh yeah um yeah even when you I didn’t understand at this time why and even now I I I don’t understand why I was so far yeah but yeah I had the team also working good like on the line and everything everything was perfect for today and and honestly I’m
