The aim of this bikepacking route was to keep within the Leeds City Boundary. It loosely follows the Leeds Country Way which is designed as a walking route. Hence I have called this the Leeds City Trail, which follows bridleways, parts of the trans pennine trail, byways and quiet routes. Inevitably, to connect all this together, a couple of sections have to follow main roads and built up areas. I started at the Woodlesford train station but as it’s circular it can be a started at any point

Knowing parts of the LCW quite well, I see you've put some serious planning into this to make sure the trails were all rideable!
