The Epic EVO is well-acquainted with the fact that the next ridgeline makes a perfectly good finish line too, offering an incredible combination of pedaling efficiency and impressive trail-taming capability to get you there faster.

While the Epic EVO sees a seemingly modest 20mm increase in suspension travel up front over its Epic stablemate and just 10mm out back, Specialized have worked overtime to make sure it’s been implemented in a way that’ll have you saying ‘Whoa!’ as soon as you hit your first stretch of singletrack.

Meticulously engineered to retain as much of the Epic’s standard-setting efficiency as possible, the EVO’s new suspension kinematics work in concert with the Rx XC shock tune to ensure you’re able to make the absolute most out of every inch of travel on tap, while still offering increased anti-squat characteristics for improved pedaling efficiency.

With plenty of practice at staying ahead of the curve, the Epic EVO now lays claim to the most capable version of Progressive XC Geometry ever to grace an Epic. It’s also more versatile than ever thanks to a new flip chip-equipped rear end that allows riders to adjust headtube angle and bottom bracket height to easily customise the Epic EVO’s handling characteristics.

Epic EVO’s flyweight FACT 11m carbon frame features heavy-hitting SRAM components and RockShox suspension for a package tailor-made for making miles disappear faster than ever.

Flip It To Rip It: Tune the ride of the Epic EVO’s FACT 11m carbon frame to match your preferred handling characteristics with flip-chip simplicity that allows riders to reduce the EVO’s headtube angle by half a degree while lowering bottom bracket height by 10mm.
The Reba RL doles out travel with a steady hand courtesy of RockShox’s Motion Control damper, while SoloAir adjustability makes dialing in suspension performance a breeze.
SRAM’s NX Eagle drivetrain is the benchmark for affordable high performance, delivering crisp shifting and a massive 450% gear range.

so hey folks how you doing it’s Richard v b packing adventures and back home in the UK here in the Peete District about to go to uh climb sanish pole near the uh red Meyers reservoir on my all new bike my mountain bike which I’ll show you a little bit later on join this ride uh it’s about 11:00 in the morning had a nice laying not too early I st up a bit ear really cuz today uh it’s 100 km riding put real light on here and foot light as well just in case of course the uh one downside of own a bit of lying is that I’m going to have to be mixing the Walkers so probably not be to pin it downhill it’s pretty cold up here today it must be floating around 8 or 9 degre night now bet anyway it’s time to uh start going upwards and uh watch out for any toads quick spin around made it to the uh top s pole maybe less than 100 m really from the start of the reservoir hands are freezing might nip into out kit to the Avage store and ‘s get some four fingers clubs CU freezing to be this is probably the going to be the coldest part of the r yeah so anyway they climb up a lot easier than on the gravel bik gravel right was just pure walking all the way with this kind of a breeze really just needed to uh be very attentive on the on on my very low by skills but yeah manag to Pedal all the way up stop once for the gate there’s a gate halfway in you can’t ride through it so uh yeah this the view that you’re rewarded with once you get to the top absolutely beautiful uh there kind of the Hope stroke eale Valley over there I don’t know where she’s wied to it is anyway you’re going to see how far rather how fast I can get down the the pass uh with all people back as always it’s very popular here at the p district so here we are coming to the downhill section beautiful it abely stunning [Applause] [Music] [Music] you [Music] and of course this whole group blocking the entire [Music] [Applause] [Music] path going pass [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank [Music] you come fast [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] not the kind of D speed I Visage but perhaps ask for the better really a bit of a beginner still [Music] [Music] [Music] okay right [Music] [Music] oh [Music] I’m already on some hi bike if I can uh do guanche that big hi bike section I can surely do this if you not seen that video yet go check it out Link in the corner this didn’t last too long I came here to ride my bike I know I’ve got a lot to learn about uh suspension bikes but I doubt anybody can ride this oh nice Ridge line there beautiful stunning around the corner is D water we’re still going up though not quite reach the top yet and uh getting hungry so need to find some shelter on the other side of the Hill I found a little bit of shelter so uh cly talking into a ginsters also got a Flap Jack hiding away in there um it’s a bake well yeah V well FL Jack oh yeah some beautiful views down here may that next group in the middle picture is if you can see them over the top of my gangsters is uh beginning of the reservoir there and I think we pan towards the right over in that general direction oh no it’s not over that down direction is it just trying to work out where Kinder Scout is I think Kinder Scout is probably all the way over there in fact glad I bought me lights I thought some of this might be rideable didn’t realize it was going to be all hiker bike very very few parts are ridable like very few or I’m just not skilled enough one of the two bit of bow imagine and the cat are getting full as well that’s what been eying may like to practice his train on flat shoes flat pedals yeah got the line all wrong there if we get on again here all I’m going to do is get to that end a bit and come off it’s quicker walking I always end up throwing myself in the deep end I sure there’s uh better Trails which are slightly above my current level of expertise that I could have chosen I have not anyway here I am I guess it shows what work I’ve got to do well well well I may not recorded much long there but experienced a lot the uh last AK taking me an hour to do so from south to North most of it was hi a B I didn’t it was a lot more favorable coming off the uh the northern Edge those bits could ride and felt confident in riding was climbing up from the south it was impossible so at some point soon she’ll be joining the Tris penine Trail and things will uh undoubtedly get a little bit quicker from here on in hello not totally sure the window ction a westly so it’s never really going to be much of a Tailwind today about 65 K ago half 3 in the afternoon must be raining at some point later like a Prett sharp shower so um yeah I’m not really dressed in that but just hoping uh at that point in time I can find some shelter and there’s lots of mudy bits it’s still wet from all the Autumn I guess the lots of this don’t even dry rest of the year do they hello sheep hello little lamb going to start walking or something look at those little two ones oh yeah right a little bit of a sealed surface just here bit more ridable all right down we go so arrived on I think it’s called the dawn valy upper Dawn Valley Trail which is part of the uh trans penine Trail itself it’s going to get very difficult um between now and glossip God you’re a big cow aren you Jesus Christ get a lot of burgers out you [Music] oh well look at that disgusing is thato so during today’s ride I’ve been uh following short elements of the Peak 200 however I’ve just chosen made an executive decision just to cut the last 8K or so section of GRA all out mainly for clothing issues and that I haven’t got any leg warmers and I could own an extra layer clothing so I don’t want to take an hour walking really slowly getting really cold cuz it’s been cold Lo off last couple hours now just want to keep on moving so I’ve taken the road down to Chapo and L so I’m headed up Sheffield Road get make a bit more quicker progress these uh Road climbs are Mega slow on a mountain bik does give you a bit longer to look at the views but makes it uh go a lot slower well folks I do hope you’ve enjoyed my ramblings here in the Pete district and uh learned something from watching me suffer today comments questions get involved down below give the video a thumbs up and if you’re not already subscribed to the channel now might be the time I wasn’t going to but I’m going to go down the old road the Broken Road oh that’s big view of the day well what way to see anyway all right [Music] it’s nice to mix up the walking and the cycling Jagger’s Lane looked a bastard I came down it well folks it’s been an eventful weekend went out R yesterday I’m Nottingham sure I don’t know if that video will make it to uh the channel but yeah I managed to get out riding a lot on both days just do really got bed early enough what is it saying 302 M climb nice right I’m going to concentrate on getting this done you might see me time in struggling up there you might not anywayy I’ll see you again soon take care [Music] [Music] bye-bye final gate [Music] bastard all right let’s get this done last last little bit [Music] [Music] it going to be this if I knew was going to be this light I would have bought my head [Music] torch woohoo [Music] [Applause]
