[Music] horrible conditions greeted the riders for the start of week three of the J of Italia upon high leeno they were in cars more than on their bikes and when they got on their bikes they were just there to sign in most of the team buses having left the forecast awful the stelvio had already been cancelled and the Riders Union had asked the day before for this stage to be changed to not to include the um pass the organizers seem to be digging in their heels however and quite a lot of confusion rained at the beginning in the end it was decided to race on the valley afterwards that after a standoff between Riders and organizers beginning down in lass in the valley 118 kilm was the stage starting outside of a petrol station and the circus and confusion all Left Behind in the morning thankfully was gone the Riders have been unified the CPA presented a front RCS hadn’t always been in finally the change occurred and the stage occurred despite late rumors the Riders were not about to start when the stage started it was quick just one long climb to the finish a ride in the valley and that first half an hour was written at almost 60 kmph and in the end four Riders would get up the road arip would be with My3 again bini would be there and Piccolo also in the group they’ve reached the intermediate Sprint in bson Bano 45 km from the Finish mvar controlling behind it seemed like either kintana or wanted to do something they bring the break down to just one minute as they started climbing and alaf Filip would break away from the break early yet again the last time he done that we won the stage this though was different terrain and the weather was a it was cold it was wet it was not a day to be racing down the S thankfully those sections have been cut out the race after all of that overnight arguing but it was still cold and miserable ELO Sanchez would attack that after M Star had been riding and a was still away Sanchez just going back to the bunch this time kintana was working and it was evident he was working for Rubio he was distancing Goan as well willo standing to gain if couldn’t make more contact the long pass so P coming to an end 232 km of climbing alaf falip was rewarded with 40 King of the mountains points he’d soon have company going into the final climb of the day out of Santa Christina de valgardena and up to Monte Bank those Riders would be pelari scaroni and costu behind UA were taking control LED by Rafa Mah it seemed like Pacha was about to go again alip could go no longer he was the first to be dropped out of that quartet and then the road got steeper inside 2K to go costu on jeto debut was having a go it will be another jro deut behind pelari the young Italian hope who’ get to him with 1500 m to the line and still with 29 seconds in front of the marar Roa he was dreaming the back out Conor started to struggle Rubio as well was with him and then this was the moment that once more Micah pulled over and pachad continue to Pedal no big attack out of the saddle he just simply pedal away and made it looks so so easy already in short sleeves and no gloves as well not feeling the cold the rest was certainly feeling the heat he get to scatori gine Thomas was in trouble behind and Danny Martinez was reacting better Thomas on his way to potentially slipping to third place Martinez didn’t look like getting to Bacha though as he got into the final kilom Thomas was even slipping behind his teammate arensman further up the road and not waiting Ben wasn’t waiting for pachad but he would be caught [Music] anyway just over 600 M remained when pachad in pink The Pink Panther on the prow pelari couldn’t hang on and Bacha once again would leave the competition behind starting the day with the biggest lead in the general classification after 15 stages for 70 years that was 6 minutes 41 the lead here was on its way to going over 7 Minutes Martinez was having a better day poacha was counting his victories five star pogacha a fifth stage win as many as Mero as they’ve been on the way to J WIS Martinez was fighting for bonus seconds he’d have to settle for third place as pen put in a great performance to finish second and wanted a souvenir had oblig away the sunglasses and the mza quite the nice moment on a confusing CH different scenario same result Bacha winning extending his lead and behind irman coming in ahead of Thomas just behind tber gotcha one two 3 4 five stage wins up now in an utterly dominant performance at the head of the a 16sec win ahead of pelar Martinez top 10 on your screen there bachar the winner another day in the pink jersey number 15 looking Unstoppable on his way to R and the lead is quite incredible it’s almost 15 minutes to 10th place it’s 10 minutes to fifth place it’s 718 to the next closest rival garine Thomas drops to Third and the Riders will have some ups and downs on the next day eyes on the forecast as there’s plenty of cold descents to take on and I’m sure there’ll be plenty of talking overnight it’s a fantastic stage on paper let’s hope that it can be ridden whatever happens let’s hope the decision is taken properly with all interest something [Music] 1. Look at that moment at 6:02. This is a picture for the ages and we will be seeing many posters on the walls of fans of cycling of this exact moment.

    2. No fun anymore. I find it to be unsportsmanlike to think he should win every stage humiliating everyone else. Bad for the Giro in the end.

    3. I open YouTube and see pink jersey on all the vids and I don’t bother anymore… I know the outcome… fantastic rider… but no point in watching for me… reminds me of Team Sky years ago… Alaphilipe is nice to see

    4. Well all you people cheering on. I just wonder have you forgot your cycling history ? When elite riders come in collapsing off their bikes and this guy comes in counting fingers after a ride around his local park. You need to get real and start asking questions.
I am not buying it. Sorry. A smiley face and nice words are a great mask.

    5. It's so joyous to watch. It's not some blindly egotistic arrogance… he simply sees that he has the ability to make cycling history and chooses to pursue it.

    6. Man up, I guess they are all fair weather riders FFS, what did Sean Kelly have to say about it…. No we get Robin the poncey pronouncer
