I bought a Schwinn trailer which I am trying to attach to my Marlin 4. The only problem is that due to the design of the frame, there is no room on the axle for the coupler (effectively a large washer that is meant to go on the axle).
I bought an adapt from the Robert axle project but the first time I used it I bent the axle. Is it possible I just torqued the adapter too hard or is there something different I need to use or is it just not possible to put a trailer on a Marlin 4?
