so good morning welcome to another video sat on thumbnails simply chili should have some sleeves on morning Ian should that be careful yeah we’re on a void of Discovery aren’t we all right we are on the thing this looks to be starting here because where do we go we’re following a commute route commute I’ve never gone to the Roku created now wow [Music] oh what I’ve got a new name for it what’s that it’s not a voyage of the story it’s a raw Edge a voyage I like it aurorage of discovery I like it So the plan for today is one of the voyage of discovery spur of the moment we’ve come to Leicester to ride along canals and rivers and into the city center so we’re starting off water Mead Country Park looks nice here mate beautiful yeah so it is a voyage of discovery of a voyage of Discovery because we’ve never ridden our bikes this way or been here even I should have gone right there so I’ve had this plan in my mind for a while just to do a little bit more canal and River exploration and uh never been this way before it’s nice isn’t it people are quite nice as well or even though they’re from Leicester everyone’s been very friendly so far what do you think everyone said hello friendly mate yeah friendly yeah so when I woke up this morning I decided to yep we’ll go this way for somewhere different to ride I didn’t really know where we were going I just uh put a route into kamut put in the destination the other side of Leicester that I do know drag the map over along some canals rivers and let kamut do its thing so far it’s looking good oh left out it’s nice isn’t it so the minute we’re in this country Park just off the River Saw from through the marina we’re heading towards Foss Park where I happen to know there is a brewery and a coffee shop [Music] you do well mate I’d have fallen a long time ago he might fall in yet they’re cheating behind you though they’ve got a boat yeah he’s beating you though if you’re outside on it falls off he takes you with him [Music] foreign [Music] somewhere totally 100 new not knowing exactly what you might find so far it’s Grand we haven’t come very far but it’s just really nice [Music] so we’re on cycle and walkway footpath number one we started off at thurmaston the bit we’ve just gone through is water Mead Country Park and now we’re following the river towards belgrave on the edge of Leicester and according to the sign we just passed it’s four miles to the city center we’re gonna go beyond the city center out of Foss Park are you loving it in yeah great great stuff I’m getting ready for a coffee though you’ve only been riding 10 minutes amazing a Muriel on the bridge [Music] guess what I found ourselves a guy riding a chopper a rally Chopper I desperately would love a chopper so this is a mark IV Chopper and you’ve had it a day made you buy it always wanted one yeah it’s brilliant tonight did you have any problems getting it awake yeah yeah do we need one Ian there was cueing outside rally mate in Nottingham when on the launch date of them it’s crazy good looking bike though yeah so what’s your plan halfway going around the corner yeah okay have fun mate enjoy it cheers ah what do you reckon that is an end well I reckon it’s either a great big wasp nest yeah and I don’t want to see the WASP went out there so being honest I didn’t realize for me to taken us by the Leicester Space Center but it has so that is I knew there’s a Space Center in Leicester but didn’t know we were going to buy it and that’s it I’ve never realized this was here I mean it says he’s got a full-time we’ve got a rocket in there interesting see if a place has been here I know that yeah or commute brings us yeah and there’s going to be coffee and a rocket ship and a rocket and a valley Chopper yeah mark IV [Music] so we’re riding now through Abbey Park named because we’ve just ridden past the ruins of an Abbey you know what that’s the start didn’t you like that’s right it was an Abbey yeah because we’re in now being part of the Park yeah yeah going through the door lock through the door so we’ve just gone through the city center bit and randomly found half a Bim extract it’s a bit weird for built tarmac berms there there and there and then joined up with the rubbish track but Ian’s giving it a go look get air oh he didn’t take off how’s that right wow they’re cruel up there you get really high he’s easily impressed it’s just amazing it’s just great so this Voyager discovery we’ve just gone through a voyage yeah we’ve just gone through an industrial area and uh we’re gonna head now back along the canal through the center of Leicester and it is way better than we thought it might be and the people are noticeably friendly people are great on that yeah we’ve not even had anybody miserable no everyone said hello everyone smiling yep everyone’s supposed to see you yeah must be less to think [Music] [Music] well this is a grand way to spend a Saturday morning you have to put the world in I am mate yes it’s um these are completely different place isn’t it yeah see I remember Julie took me a while so now we’re further further along the river got Leicester City Football Club there look I know a lot of Leicester city fans I know nothing about football unless the Tigers as well unless the tigers are rugby aren’t they so we’ve just passed a lot of University buildings in the city but I think coffee is calling what do you reckon in yeah definitely mate definitely so I think we might have to go to head down stop filming and get to coffee so as you can probably work out we’re now on a bit of Old Railway line it’s come up on the water who was Grand Central Way so I suppose this was part of Grand Central Railway the coffee shop not by now mate three quarters of a mile it’s a coffee so nearly there mate yeah where’s the brewery there’s a coffee shop where’s the cycling shop got it all right that table’s got a name on it so coffee stock done oh the bacon roll you had sausage very nice isn’t it right next to a brewery I know you had the largest coffee in the world ever I did mate yeah was like seven inches tall it was huge wasn’t it yeah well you know big coffee big fee big math a very vivid imagination that boy [Music] [Music] so we’re back now just looping around city center as you can see back along the river it’s way more pleasant than I ever thought it was going to be I must admit laughs hey Spider-Man look it’s finding my mate yeah he’s on a mission where’s he going nobody knows from now on blasters Golden Mile the Golden Mile of Indian shops Curry houses sorry shops It’s a grand place to be so just been looping but around the back streaks a little bit of a wrap run over back streets of the Golden Mile now we’re back in park Parklands a bit more parks to take us home mate yeah yeah it’s been a good ride though oh it’s been mate mate it’s gone really cool so Leicester has been somewhat better than I thought it might have been we’re definitely going to come back I think explore some more of it was a lot of cycle paths that looked good that we could have gone down that we didn’t so we’re coming back when yeah soon soon with a map and an explore so we’re gonna be back onto some busier roads for the last little bit so I think we should say goodbye now for Miss Leicester exploration trip say goodbye sir adios adios
