ride and despite the beautiful Lakeside start the mighty mountains awaited five passes a debut for the kiseno a real climb and then the mighty Moro albeit not from its most difficult side of matso they descend towards bormio take a left turn heading for linho intermediate Sprints inter Jos but really it was all about the climbs Passos and the final climb to the Molino only the Jal were make a new Road off a ski slope for a creative stage finish there was nothing too creative about the start strong Riders getting away early on wasn’t too difficult to get up the road given how expected the fight had been but it wouldn’t last long in this situation leilon canoan was one of the Riders who got there once he got to the first climb of the day the Lino a real fighter for the blue jersey classification the king of the mountain zimon Gesa would go with him Canan had already fallen out with his team car and with some of the opposition team car by this point and he wasn’t able to take maximum points at the first climb he wasn’t involved on the second he was struggling by this point Sim Gesa had to settle for second scaroni who got up the road in third by this point 40 to 50 Riders have been trying to get in a breakaway but they’ all be put in their place by the roads the mountains and the chasing groups behind at the top of the Morty all it will be scaroni who’d pick up more points again and at the bottom a group would come together 15 to 16 Riders Lopez still in it at this point alaf Philip was there as well on seven on two Stein haser wanted to move things on naido so far a very healthy gap of 3 minutes 41 going into this stage second place Thomas couldn’t Chase third place Martinez tried but pogacha would quickly open up a gap still 3 minutes behind steinhauser as kintana reached him and then passed him with 13 K to go pogacha found some traffic on his way and was quickly opening time he had almost a minute on Thomas Martinez and the rest at this point Martinez already back in the rest of the GC group bacho was a minute and a half behind steinhauser and kintana and he was on his way he was a man yet again on a mission you know the stage is hard when the moro is not even a headline the final set of climbs was proving to be too much for the GC group behind they’d let pogacha go unable to keep up with him poacha was ticking the Riders off one by one over the penultimate climb of the day and reaching gorg steinhauser only kintana was in his sights as they got to the final climb of the day the 5K long Molino great Rance of almost 20% and that did Mountain Stage so many meters of climbing Bacha started it with a simple plan he executed it to Perfection the Slovenian fan cheered on he flew the flag for their Nation a gap of 20 seconds over road with one wonderful action a great day riding beastly riding on a beastly stage by a mammoth of a rider pachad doubling his Jalia lead almost kintana having to settle for second [Applause] place the congratulations started barring incident or accident with almost 7 Minutes of a lead that a gacha will win the jit of Italia in a week’s time he wanted to finish the job already maybe thinking already about the tour well that could be a bit premature anything can always happen in bike racing but tacha is in utter complete control of the tour of Italy it’s another Sensational solo for the last 15 kmets another day to add another line to his palmeres a day to add to his Legend 29 seconds over kintana but almost 3 minutes into the GC group over 15ks maro’s on his back again and the biggest lead at this stage in AO Italia for 70 years it’s 6 minutes 41 for pogacha to be exact over Thomas 656 to Martinez and you’re talking from 1st to 10th almost a quarter of an hour now the mountains continue at the jro after the rest day no full St VI but they go over the um pass then into Switzerland briefly before into German speaking Italy afterwards bson or Balano for the intermediate Sprint then up the valley again pasier and Si finishing in Santa Christina valgardena Sant Christina in groden another Mighty stage awaits the GC very likely realistically Out Of Reach for most now they fight for stage wins and the podium and Marvel as a generational Talent is utterly dominant [Music]
