Recipe for a perfect day while bikepacking in Europe ⬇️
☑️ At least one meal at a scenic location
☑️ No mechanical issues
☑️ beautiful biking trails
☑️at least one border crossing (ok this is more a bonus but does happen often!)
☑️a bakery visit or trying local food
☑️jumping into a body of water
☑️ making other bikepacker friends on their own journeys ( a major bonus! ) @simont19948 and Marie we miss you already! ❤️

this was a perfect day while bike packing from London to Istanbul and we even entered a new country but first after biking in the dolomites in the beautiful Austrian and Italian Countryside for a few days we met some new friends Simon from Germany and Marie from Belgium and camped with them near the beautiful Lago di fusine in Italy the next day we woke up from our campsite and we all had breakfast by the lake then we bike to our ninth country of the trip Slovenia this also marked the halfway point for our trip across Europe which is so crazy to think about then we biked on absolutely beautiful biking trails in Northern Slovenia and through several small towns until we made it to Lake bled where after biking about halfway around it we couldn’t resist it so we immediately jumped in we ended the perfect day by meeting some more bike packing friends from Austria and taking in the beauty of this place by the lake
