After the last two hatcheries failed due to the use of old dirty rainwater, it was time to let them dry out to reset the eggs and time to use a new one!
I’m currently using the new black XXL hatchery that’s about 150% the size of the transparent XL hatchery.
For species we have chosen the famous “Tropical” Cancriformis species that lives at higher “Longicaudatus/ Australiensis species temperatures”.
The Spanish:
Triops Cancriformis Green ( Gonochoric, Male/Female Triops)
or
Triops Mauritanicus, if the extra hooks at the tail show up! ( I still need to check this feature, to make sure its the Mauritanicus species that features this trait)
Stay tuned for the research on this species and its eventually, if possible and reachable: incredible size at 10-12 cm / 3″ !!
Back at it with the 60L maintank, we hope to see incredible sizes combined with the balanced diet that was previously used!
