[Music] right we’re back back in the trusty van and Jesus I look tired looks like I’m not been the bed I’m on route to spray B which is the P shop that we use if you haven’t seen that before actually if you can you can jump back and look at the these guys did the 500 wi R 500 that me and Whit are currently doing up they’ve done that as well but they do all my R work race work R body work they do all my race body work so we’re going there to pick up the new body work for this season obviously there’s a new design I’m quite excited to see new sponsors on board and stuff so going to go pick that up and for the first time I’m going to get to see my new Triumph all built up with this new uniform on and what it looks like so I’m really excited to see that and show it to you guys maybe do a run through show you all the sponsors what they do what they do for us and why they’re partners with us and stuff like that so that’s quite interesting also stay tuned to the end because I’ve got something quite important that I need to sort of sit down and seriously tell you so I’m going to I’m going to do that at the end of the Vlog yeah I thought we’d have some fun stuff first before we before we get to the serious stuff so yeah we’re going to we’re just cruising over to Grimsby now to get pick up the body work then back to the workshop and then uh get the bike built up and stuff and see what she looks like I’m I’m super excited to see it cuz the body work has changed a bit and the design obviously looks different on on different sets of body work and stuff so I’m quite excited to see that who knows Neil might even be in a good mood what is the chances of Neil building this bike and saying oh that actually looks nice I’m going to say 3% three out of 10 stay tuned plenty of exciting stuff happening and some serious information at the end see them big see them big tall trees in the distance over there like well not tall but like real skinny looking I don’t know what they’re called but every time I drive down this road I think it’s like you only see 3es like that in like France and Spain and stuff and like nowhere else in England can you zoom in there Chris and see them over there like over there I don’t know why they’re here or in this part of like grimby we’re not in Grimsby yeah anybody else knows that hit me up how the hell have I got to talking about threes on this channel when I said about what’s the chances of Neil being in a good mood the chances have actually gone up cuz I’ve got them a little present I’m sitting in traffic now in case you’re pack them back up in for putting them back in the van we get them wrapped up and some bubble wrapping and stuff on them so don’t get scratched and then in the van and back to the workshop to see happy the current situation with the Triumph is as this it’s all built it’s ready ready to ride now since the last time I probably spoke to you guys so we’ve got Brembo discs have turned up the forks have come back from kch front mood guard brackets have come with the wheel speed sensor so all that on pots have come brackets have come these are cool little things it’s like a 3D printed thing from the clip system trying to think what else wasn’t done the last time you guys seen it but yeah I think I think that’s pretty much everything this here in the stand is the second engine come back from from PHR as well so I’m going to get Neil’s not here right now he’s just nipped out to grab some stuff so when he comes back I’m going to get him to put the body work on cuz I’ve got some stuff to do on the computer and uh we’ll get that on and then I’m going to talk his through through the body work some of the sponsors and stuff cuz this channel is all about me just mining about but I want to actually like explain as to what sponsors are on the team and why they’re there and some of them how long they’ve been there and different things like that so yeah do you want do you want to show fit the cook so it’s took you 5 Seconds to do that and and uh he going to drink it now and tell us what he thinks but yeah it’s so handy if you’re traveling or doing anything because you can Chuck it in doesn’t need to go in the fridge gluten- free like I said got all the vitamins minerals protein what’s that get slow mo there christe Jesus are you tasting it or drinking the whole thing it’s nice wasn’t there so this is a standard what comes on the road bike standard panel so they end up using this part out of the standard panel on here but obviously we haven’t got this painted now so we’re debating on whether to go white or black um check us in the comments what you think Neil says what are you saying white with a Irish Shamrock why there’s nobody here Irish NE you’re Irish we’ll laugh we give us your Irish all right if Neil does an Irish accent we’ll put a shamrock on it on potato that’s terrible yes we’re debating whether to put it white or black white that’s not what you think I’m saying white as well but maybe black this needs drilling off now need to drill these holes so this is how it mounts the tank and then this pops through on little rubber grommets getting there though have you remembered which way around it goes or you mled it around now do you want mean to put it in turn turn your camera off way I want to get some footage of me pulling you out of the [ __ ] though do you want me to do it for you sh up you can’t even see the CLI you’re just guessing out and you see what you’re actually trying to get it into I did it about 20 times the other way no problem problem what trying to do is this is late and rather than drill a big hole in the bodyw work to get the clip through he’s obviously taking the clip pins out of the clip and fed them through the bodyw work I’m going to smash it to [ __ ] in a minute and uh I thought it was worthwhile getting this footage cuz he’s he been getting quite angry we may do want have another little sip of white food and just calm down I you sure I’m going to stop now before he knocks me out I’m not putting another what have you done to him this morning he was on good form right he was on average form then he had one of them y food drinks then he was on top form and now on the come down I think he’s on it was just a Crea is that it now voila so I’ve got to fix the unit got to fix the light hi guys I just wanted to mentioned earlier we’ve um drilled out and fitted So that obviously needs to just come off we’re going to go white with it put another logo and stuff on there you are put that’s yeah put another uh East Coast Construction logo on there so the yeah we’ve got obviously another set in the box which is oh it’s hard to point there they’ll get they’ve all already been pre fitted before but the when they get painted and stuff they change quite a lot on the fitment so it needs like heat Cycles now now just to loosen off it’s sitting quite tight some of the things that have changed since the colors last year obviously the bike used to be yellow all down this whole front porch it’s all gone all white now with a different black surround sponsors obviously Ash cord is still the title sponsor of the team uh me and sponsor the team’s called these two guys have been sponsors of mine for quite a long time different things sometimes on the helmet sometimes on the bike so h&j Martin is a big building company fitment company the do all sorts of stuff from like horid in London to hospital schools all them sort of things big big big building firm based in Northern Ireland and Belfast phab is obviously the biggest if not the one of the biggest uh taxi companies in Belfast they have been sponsored for M I’m going to say nearly 10 years quite a long time uh you have seen them in other Raiders and stuff now as well like both Glenn and Andrew and a few other a few other Riders roll on is quite a new sponsor they just come last year that is actually a chain company we’ve been running their Chain’s rockets for the last 2 years H testing them and stuff obviously we plan to go to the TT with them last year and that didn’t happen but that is the plan to go to go again this year but yeah they make all their own change rocks which are you can actually vou them Neil can’t you you like you’re really in with the chain and stuff and you said that it doesn’t need adjust in anywhere here as much as the I don’t want to I don’t want to slag the other one off but like good Saki and stuff so Neil moans a lot about chance and he’s not moving smt is a new one on for this year it’s uh well it SS you there Services machinery and trucks they are the main importer for I’m going to say Volvo truck plant everything like that into the UK that’s through work that sponsor more than the mine the next big one is JCT he come on board last year if you watch the chasing the racing podcast you’ll see he’s on there helping them guys out as well as of this year really really good guy he does a big Fleet company so they don’t sell trucks but they lease lease trucks and run lease plant and everything out to other companies that that have or they need require trucks for like say food supply companies and all them sorts of things I think they do like a a crash damage side of stuff as well for repairing trucks and unit not just their own for other people really good company good person as well burdens is a big what’s the right word for burdens Neil building merch building Merchants so they that’s another sponsors through work so they are what two words what two words building mer building Merchants two words um it’s like so if you’ve been watching the BSB and see like billb and different things like got of our teams similar company to them but they toly all the pipes and all that sort of stuff that the guys use here at work so they’ve been on the bike for quite a long time same thing good long-term loyal sponsor show without them we couldn’t do it moving further down we’ve got some of the belly pal ones obviously Motel is our oil supplier they do everything all the well you can see up there on Neil’s shelf of Doom they supplyers with all the brake cleaners easy Loop all them things are all through through mul so yeah without them it’s they obviously they they’re sponsored as well as giving us product and stuff so really really worthwhile having cuz all that stuff cost an absolute Fortune moving on along the other ones are just a repeat this one at the bottom is Reas and that’s the actual team business name and below that is stead plan that is who supplies us with the tractor unit for the race team very very big van company and plant trucks to Sals as well so if you need anything hit them boys up and just behind that is spider these are the guys that make all this stuff we’ve changed to this year see my little logo and stuff on the rear sets so they make all the rear sets HS clipons levers all that sort of stuff so yeah without all them people it’s not possible obviously we’ve spoke before about the kex it’s supension been with them for a very long time different things we’ve gone to spark exhaust this year just on this bike because that’s what seems to work on it Triumph all the GB covers and stuff are all the same that’s pretty much it so FS are the same Neil loves fitting them he’s doing a bit of tan up here he’s back he’s back I was worried about you earlier when you were in a good mood you know tiing your mess up how dare you say I don’t T this place off why is it on tiing cuz you’re here you’re doing a great job Neil you’re very much appreciated very much appreciated that is it for today in the workshop we’re going to hit the road I’m going to get some laser treatment on the way home but I’m not going to video that because you’ve seen that before what are you going to do n you going home no I’m to fit a drop box in Land Rover another one of my many chores excited cuz the lunatics have got to fit out of scratch have CH the old guys in h yeah so I’m going to hit the road and see you guys when I get home right it is now 2 days later since we last spoke or since I last spoke to you and randomly I’m sitting in my back yarden because I wanted to sort of take myself away to try and explain the situation so I mentioned that when the cage got loosened we were on a trial period of few days and it could have went either which way and it didn’t go the way that I wanted or we wanted so basically what I was trying to explain is these these rods here these vertical threaded bars there’s four of them in right round they got loosened and then they got taken out because the brakes in between that part when they got loosened and taken out the leg didn’t react the way that it would wanted or it needed to be to be able to take the frame off so that was the case the frame um the frame had the the rods had to get put back in again and the frame all got tightened up again and to put this into perspective we were trying to take it off at eight weeks set know a week ago that was seven seven weeks around that and to start off with the surgeon told me that it was going to be at least 14 to 16 weeks so that’s how far ahead we were trying to push the situation the that was two that was nearly 2 weeks ago now so like when I’m recording this now it’s a Wednesday Tuesday I’m going to go back to the surgeon again on this thir th this is still now a week and a bit before the Northwest 200 so I’m definitely not doing the Northwest 200 that’s it’s not physically possible cuz I’ve still got the cage on my leg so firstly that’s yeah really upsetting because obviously that was the the place of the big crash last year and um in my head I thought I’d easily be back fit enough to be able to race there again and sort of put that all to bed and and go back and try and win hopefully but that’s that’s not the case we’re not we’re definitely not fit to do the Northwest 200 but the next big thing is to to try and do the TT or to still fit to be doing the TT so that all revolves around what happens now on Thursday and whether the the leg is strong enough to have the cage removed and stuff so that’s the next part of news that I don’t know yet and stuff but the news really right now is that I’m I’m planning on going to the Northwest to to work for the guys at the BBC and to go and see all the fans and everybody that all the people that have sent me so such nice messages and willing me support and uh going home to see some sponsors and stuff as well that are at the event so um I’m really looking forward to going hopefully Thursday goes well and um we get some good news and then I might even have the the cage off when I’m at the northwest or if it’s still on then it’s still on and we just have to to go from there but yeah that was the it’s been hard to say this because I’ve like been really pushing and aiming for this to happen and it hasn’t happened now so it’s took me for probably a week to digest it I think that is the right word and understand what the situation is and obviously speak to all my sponsors and stuff and um yeah try and make a make another plan which is what we’ve done now and aim for aim for the TT and then if that doesn’t happen then we’re going to make another plan after that so thanks as always for all the the awesome support and stuff and I’ll
